Chapter Twelve: Save Him

After Bakugo was taken by the League of Villains, (Y/N) grew angry. They became the opposite of their usual, cheery selves. They stayed quiet and refused to leave Midoryia's side while he was asleep.

"(Y/N), you'll need to come home eventually." Their father says while the toddler lays on a chair in Midoryia's hospital room.

"No," (Y/N) tells him, "I will not leave anyone ever again."

"It wasn't your fault that Bakugo was captured." Aizawa reassures.

(Y/N) glares at their father, "If I ever want to be a hero, I have to save everyone. I could have saved Bakugo, I could have done anything!"

"Being a hero does not mean that you save everyone," Aizawa tells her, "Being a hero means that you protect as many as possible. No matter what, there will always be someone out there who can't be helped."

Soon, Midoryia wakes up, so Aizawa leaves (Y/N) alone with the boy.

"(Y/N)?" He calls out, groggy, "What are you doing here?"

"I've been here ever since the attack," They respond, "I need to help somehow."

He chuckles, "You don't have to worry about me, I'm okay."

"Deku, you are quite literally a stickman right now. I think I do."

He laughs this time, smiling. Soon enough, the rest of class 1-A except for those who are still recovering, enter. There's a brief moment of discussion about the Training camp until Kirishima and Todoroki begin talking about how they can save Bakugo.

"So you're saying that Yaoyorozu could make another signal device for us?" Iida asks, pausing, "No! It's just as All Might said. We must leave this matter for the pros! It's not our place to interfere."

"You think I don't know that?" Kirishima responds, "But still, I couldn't do anything at the Training Camp! When I heard that they were after my friend, I couldn't do anything...I didn't do anything! If I don't act now..forget being a hero, I'm not even a man!"

(Y/N) stops the group from arguing any further.

"Kirishima is right," They tell them, "At the very least, I should go. Anyone who wishes to join, may come as well. I know most of their quirks, and other details about the league."

Iida's face darkens, "What!? (Y/N), you—"

He gets cut off as (Y/N) stretches their arm over and covers his mouth, "I'm not saying to fight the villains, Iida. We can win without fighting. All we must do is save Bakugo. The only problem is...never mind, we can figure him out later."

"Sorry to interrupt," A doctor says, "It's time for Midoryia's examination."

Kirishima tells the green-haired boy and (Y/N) before he leaves that they will attempt the rescue mission tonight, and meet outside the hospital. Later that night, Kirishima and Todoroki are outside. Yaoyorozu and Midoriya approach from the hospital as well.

"Midoryia?" Kirishima says, "Why do you have scratches on your neck? They weren't there earlier."

The green-haired boy chuckles, "I was trying to put (Y/N) to sleep before I left so they wouldn't come with us. They got angry and started clawing at me.They really wanted to come and help save Kacchan, since it was their idea. I think they finally fell asleep, at least."

"Wait!" The group of four turn to see Iida, "Of all people—you guys should know better! Especially you two, who criticized me for my rash actions," He says, looking at Midoryia and Todoroki, "And, like me, had to receive a special pardon in the end! Why are you about to commit the same blunder I did? This is foolish!"

"What are you talking about?" Kirishima asks.

"We're still under protection. And UA's already facing hard times as it is. Who do you think will have to take responsibility for you actions?" Iida says, ignoring him.

A small explosion catches their attention. The group turns around to see (Y/N) standing in a small crater. Fire covers their entire body, yet it doesn't burn their clothes. Their face is clearly contorted into anger. They walks towards the group.

"DEKU!" They scream into their heads, "You are very mean to try and put me to sleep before a mission!"

Midoryia refuses to let them speak, "No (Y/N), this time I'm saying no. If I were to allow you to do that, your father would kill me—"

"He's not my father!" They yell verbally, "H-He's just a man who took me in." Realizing that they can't speak much anymore, they switch to telepath, "He's just following the letter that was attached to me when I was found! The letter was made up anyhow! By..my real father."

"Are you saying that you knew who your parents were?" Yayorozu asks.

"Yes," (Y/N) replies, "But it doesn't matter right now. Yayorozu, either you're coming or I take the device and we go without you. Iida, you can come to if you'd like to try and restrain us. Goodluck, though."

"Fine then, I'm coming." Iida and Yayorozu agree.

The group of students get on the train and prepare to fight the League of Villains. When they arrive, the group heads into a store and buys some new outfits to prevent the villains from recognizing them. The six students eventually find the location and begin to scope out the area.

"He's not here." (Y/N) tells them.

"How do you know?" Todoroki asks.

"My quirk allows me to see how many people I can telepath with, and it's only giving me five options. Well, it's giving me more than five. But one is asleep and the others...aren't even human. I can see their thoughts and feelings as well, but they're not those of a villain's."

"Crap."

"More heroes have arrived." They say, "Mnt. Lady, Jeanist, Orca, and Tiger from the training camp."

Suddenly their eyes bulge, "And there's...him."

The group glances over the side to see a man in a dark outfit. A mask, much like Darth Vader's, covers his face.

"Sorry, Tiger, but I've had my eye on her quirk for quite a while. It was just too good—I had to have it." He says.

Suddenly though, the entire area erupts into smoke, and the pro heroes are gone. (Y/N) stares at the villain as he approaches Jeanist.

"That's the number 4 hero for you!" He says, "I was planning to blast them all straight to hell. But you grabbed them by their clothes and threw them aside in the nick of time! Such quick decision-making, such technique...such incredible reflexes!"

Bakugo and the villains of the League are transported with All for One's quirk, which prompts (Y/N) to tell their classmates something important.

"I think I need to tell you all this before something happens. Tomura, or Tenko, is not my biological brother. The man back there, he's my real father. That's why I came to you guys."

Midoryia's eyes widen so much that they seem like they're about to burst.
