Xelqua watched as Xenex aimed his bow hitting one of the targets on the other side of the bowing room.
"That was a good shot," The dirty blonde admitted as the armored male lowered his bow to examine where his arrow had landed.
"I wouldn't call that really good," He grinned and turned to look at the dirty blonde. "It went too far from the middle," He continued and pointed at the arrow that was about 2 millimeters away from the bullseye of the target.
Xelqua rolled his eyes. He knew that Xenex wanted to hit the exact right spot because in a fight you couldn't afford missing by 2 millimeters, but he still thought Xenex should be happy about the fact that it was almost where it was supposed to.
"Aren't you in a war again btw?" Xenex inquired as he prepared to aim the next shot to an empty target block.
"Yeeeah," Grian chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. He had managed to start a new war against Scar about grass and mycelium.
"I'm not gonna lie to you, but I think a war isn't a good idea right now because of everything that's going on with The Council. I don't believe that you have enough time for everything," Xenex sighed grinning. He hated admitting it out loud, but he really didn't want to lie to his brother.
"I understand what you're after, but I already started it and there's no coming back. Plus, I think the Hermits are starting to get suspicious about me so I had to do something to prove them that everything is fine and I'm fine," Grian explained and watched Xenex aim his bow towards the targets again.
After letting go of his arrow and watching it hit the target, Xenex turned back to face Grian again. He sighed, "I can't stop you from doing it and I won't even try, but remember that I warned you about this."
"Yes, I'll remember this conversation."
"Just don't let it make you forget what we're dealing with right now with The Council."
"Don't worry, I won't. I know what I'm doing and I won't let anyone down."
"I have a feeling that you're promising too much, but I won't judge you since it's your choice, not mine."
"I-" Grian began, but the door opener cutting him off. They both turned around to see Caton.
'Jaylee is looking for you Xenex.' Caton signed with the sign language. He had lost his ability to speak months ago and was no using different body languages to communicate with his siblings, who all understood him without any problems.
"I'll be in 5," Xenex answered quickly and placed the bow back to the holder on the wall next to the shooting points.
'5 what? Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years?' Caton signed rolling his eyes. He wanted a clearer answer from the older male.
"I dunno, maybe 5 minutes," Xenex grinned and turned around to face Xelqua once more before leaving with Caton to go see Jaylee.
Xelqua watched as the duo left the room and shut the door behind them. He turned to look at the bows and carefully bit his lower lip. He hadn't really done archery in years, not after he had finished the Watchers' Academy. Would he still do fine with it? He didn't know.
'Wanna try out?' Xavier sounded kinda interested about it too. Maybe they should try it out.
"Sure," Xelqua agreed out loud and went to pick up a bow from the holder.
He stepped to the shoitibg spot and carefully aimed the bow towards the target. He felt Xavier right by him, they were in control together and their eyes began slowly turning red under the Watcher's mask. Their horns began growing back to show everyone that they were now Xelvier instead of Xelqua or Xavier.
"Let's do this," They smirked and aimed the bow.

"Has anyone seen Grian? We were supposed to have a meeting," Etho looked around in the mycelium resistance HQ.
"I haven't," Impulse answered. "I don't know if he's even here at all. He might have gone to The Main World," He continued.
"Probably forgot about the meeting," Ren grinned and glanced at his teammates.
"He better get here before Scar decides to come and find out secret base," Xb mentioned jumping into the conversation.
"I'm sending him a message. Let's see if he answers," Etho decided and pulled out his communicator to quick type a short message to Grian.
Grian has joined the game.
"Looks like he's arrived," Etho hummed and put his communicator back to his pocket.
"Better late than never, I guess," Xb shrugged and turned to look at the entrance, waiting for their leader to fall in.
Soon Grian fell through the entrance and quickly apologized before starting the meeting. The whole time the other Hermits noticed that something was a bit off.
The meeting went and they discussed their plans. Everyone noticed how Grian wasn't aware of literally anything that had happened on the server. They tried asking about it, but Grian just laughed it off.
"I think that's everything," Grian hummed and glanced at his communicator. "Any questions or anything?" He asked raising his glare for a second just to look at everyone.
"Is everything alright Grian?" Impulse asked worriedly.
Grian raised his glare again, he looked a bit surprised, "Yeah, everything's fine," He answered nodding.
"You seem a bit distant," Etho pointed out.
"I just have so many new projects I want to try out. Me and my friend have been trying to figure out some new building designs outside of Hermitcraft because she really needed my help," Grian explained with a lie. "We're almost finished, then I can start spending more time here again," He continued.
"Who's your friend?" Ren inquired.
"Oh- her name is-" Grian struggled. He hadn't prepared to answer that, "Pearlescent Moon," He quickly answered without even realizing before it was too late.
"Pearlescent Moon? I haven't heard about her ever before," Jevin mumbled.
"She is an old friend of mine and isn't really known for anything," Grian hurried to make up an excuse to the fact that Pearl was basically dead.
"Alright," The others seemed to take the bait and didn't look as worried as before. Grian wouldn't consider himself as the beat lier every, but he knew how to lie after all the lying he had done.
"Is this war a good idea then if you're busy with that?" Xb pointed out.
"I mean that I literally started this war myself, knowing that I was gonna have a lot of stuff to do with Pearl," Grian grinned. "But I think that I can manage both of those without having to worry that much," He continued. He really didn't want to cancel the war since everyone already seemed excited about it and had spend so much time doing their base.
"We don't have to do it if you don't have enough time," Impulse mentioned.
"No, no! It's fine! It really is! We can do this!" Grian lied again. He knew it was going to be draining for him.
"Alright then, but if you change your mind, tell us," Impulse agreed sighing.
"Of course," Grian nodded and turned back to his communicator, which happened to buzz.

Grian raised his glare from his communicator to face the Hermits, "I have to go now. See you later!" He waved before sprinting out of the base, without giving the Hermits a chance to say anything.

"Ranboo? Are you awake?" Niki called her brother as she sat down on the bed. She was really worried about her brother, who was getting worse and worse.
"Is he still sleeping..?" Tubbo asked quietly, biting his lower lip.
"I don't know if I can get him to wake up.. He was so badly under Jean's control and now when he's without it, he doesn't know how to control his own body anymore..." Niki whispered quietly. She was afraid that he wouldn't wake up anymore.
A knock on the door made Niki and Tubbo turn around to see who was coming in. The door opened quietly and they saw Tommy standing there with someone behind him.
"I was told to bring this bitch 'ere to you," Tommy grinned and stepped into the room with a ravenette female Watcher.
"ᓭℸ ̣ 𝙹!¡ ᓵᔑꖎꖎ╎リ⊣ ᒲᒷ ᔑ ʖ╎ℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑ ||𝙹⚍ ᓵ⍑╎ꖎ↸!" The female groaned in a language Niki and Tubbo didn't really understand. Niki recognized that it was the End's one language, Galactic. She didn't speak it thought, she only spoke the Endermen's language.
"I'm not a child!" Tommy exclaimed to her.
"╎ ↸𝙹リ'ℸ ̣ ʖᒷꖎ╎ᒷ⍊ᒷ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᔑℸ ̣," The female answered leaning against the doorframe with her arms crossed.
"Bitch!" Tommy spat, glaring at her.
"What did you want from us?" Niki inquired.
"I dunno, that brunette bitc-"
"ᒲᔑ𝙹, ⍑ᒷ'ᓭ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ᒲᔑ╎リ ᔑ↸ᒲ╎リ ᒲᔑ𝙹," The female cut of Tommy, correcting him.
"I don't care!" Tommy groaned. "Anyways, he told me to get this bitch to you!"
"'ℸ ̣ ⍑╎ᓭ ʖ╎ℸ ̣ ᓵ⍑' ⍑ᔑᓭ ᔑ リᔑᒲᒷ ᔑリ↸ ╎ℸ ̣ 'ᓭ ⊣𝙹↸╎⍊ᔑ," The female, Godiva, grinned.
"Shut up, I don't care!" Tommy groaned.
"That's not really nice of you Tommy," Niki muttered.
"As I said-"
"I was s-send here t-to check y-you, y-you're situ- situation? Yes, y-you're situated, no! Situation!" Godiva struggled. She had to grin at her English skills.
"I see," Niki nodded and gave her a warm and friendly smile. She really appreciated how she had tried speaking English even thought it wasn't her strongest language.
"S-so let's see w-what, h-how I can give help to y-your, you," Godiva grinned again. She really hated English, but there weren't really other opinions.
Niki nodded and gave a worried look to Ranboo again. She really hoped he would be alright.
