Day 2:

I woke to the sound of the loud bell. I got out of my sleeping bag and changed my clothes. I stepped into the cold morning. Getting ready to have breakfast and to have fun. I looked around and I saw that I was one of the only ones there. I went to a table where some members of my group were and I sat there. Then the tables started filling up, and the bell rang once more, warning us that breakfast was about to start. 

Our counselor came and he said hi, we said hi back. We all sat down and listened to our announcements, the Birch Group was gonna do rock climbing and the nature walk. So we all talked and had our breakfast. Once we were done that we had our chores to do, my group was cleaning up the place. 

Once we were done that we all gathered and headed to the rock climbing wall. I had fun and I got to about half way up the wall, most of us couldn't make it, because the fake rocks were too far apart or too small to step on, or they were flat so we couldn't get a foothold on it. Some people were lucky enough to make it to the top or at least a third of it. We were all finished so we had a short break and then we had to do our nature walk, we went around looking at nature and just had fun. We were talking about our talent show coming up, and other things I can't remember.

We walked through a wheat field and had some great fun. We started making small fires, and well I and my partner couldn't get ours started, but it was fun. We made some kinds of bread and ate it. Then we headed back and had our lunch. All of us were starving, so we ate quickly and we got ready for free time. Some went swimming others did games, and others just hung around. I went canoeing with some good friends and then after that, I watched as the teachers raced in their canoes. Then I just didn't feel right so I left. I headed to my cabin and got my stuff and then the bell rang, I rushed out the door and went to the picnic tables.

We were told that we were supposed to go to Low Ropes, so we did. We had to work together to make something that wasn't stable, stable. We all sat on it and we moved around. Finally, we stopped because it was finally even. We went to a log and stood on it. We were trying to get in order of birthdays, first names, and last names, and ages, without talking. We made it in a long amount of time.

Next, we had to do a rope course, with spotters at my side I moved along, hoping that they wouldn't let me get hurt. I finished the course and luckily the spotters had my back, literally. Next, all of us had to try to get past a web of string, and we had to go through it without talking, and we could only get through a few. We carried people over and under, crawling through. We did it twice and we accomplished it.

Then we got back to the picnic tables, we were told to figure out what to do for our talent show that night. So we all got ready, we were planning to sing a Christian song. It was called 'My Lighthouse' by Rend Collective. We had papers to sing it. We all planned and it was not a very good one. Everyone got changed to get ready for the glow in the dark dinner. I was glowing a lot. We ate and when we were done we all went to the chapel.
