It was a couple of days later, when Josh and Lexi were at the doctor's. They wanted to find out the gender of their baby as soon as they could.

Lexi: So, what are you thinking?

Josh: I'm gonna guess a boy.

Lexi: I'm gonna go with girl, you know what they say about a mother's instinct!

Josh: Fair do's. But I know I will be right!

Lexi: Ok then, Mr Cocky, time to find out...

They then got up and made their way to the doctor's little room.

Doctor: So, how is everything? Any problems with the baby at all?

Lexi: Nope, it's been fine, besides the weird cravings...

Doctor: Happens to everyone when they get pregnant. I remember one patient I met, her cravings included cheeseburgers and jellybeans!

All three laughed as Lexi laid down on the table, and revealed her bump.

Lexi: Still can't believe this little bump will be a baby in the future, we really wanna know!

Doctor: Okay, here we go, this may be a bit cold...

Josh held her hand as the special gel was rubbed over her stomach and then the scan took place. Lexi teared up at the sight of a baby growing inside her.

Josh: Wow, that's our baby?

Doctor: Yes, it is. As you can see, it looks to be perfectly healthy, so there will be no problems.

Lexi: So, what's the gender?

Doctor: You're having a... boy, congratulations.

Josh: Wow... our little boy!

Lexi: He's adorable, I love him already!

They both cried tears of joy, and got a picture of the ultrasound for them to take home. As they then got home, Lexi kissed Josh and went upstairs for a nap, while Josh put the picture of the ultrasound on the fridge, and admired it for a few minutes. He then snapped out of it, as he received a text from Natasha, his ex who tried to kill him.

Natasha: So, I hear Lexi's engaged and pregnant.

Josh: And what do you wanna do about it?

Natasha: Nothing... except get you back.

Josh: Oh, please! You honestly expect me to take you back after what you did to me?

Natasha: You're not still on that, are you?

Josh: You tried to kill me, Natasha. Out of pure jealousy. From what I can see, you'rte still jealous.

Natasha: I'd rather not talk about it, I just want you back.

Josh: You need to accept the facts, Natasha. Me and you are done. Whatever chance you did have went away in the crash.

Natasha: You'll regret making that decision, Josh... mark my words.

Josh: Sure...

Josh then locked his phone and went upstairs to check on Lexi, who was now fast asleep in bed, with a smile on her face. He went and kissed her forehead, and in turn, moaned happily as she snuggled into her pillow. He then went and prepared some food for her.

Josh: Hmm, what would she like?

He looked through the fridge and freezer before he made a surprising discovery...

Josh: Mmm... ice cream, she'll love that!

He also made some popcorn, crisps, fruit, and prepared some prawns with seafood sauce and then, when it was ready, half an hour later, he carefully went back upstairs and laid it on the bedside table, and gently woke up Lexi.

Josh: Baby? Wakey-wakey...

Lexi groaned in her sleep before slowly coming to.

Lexi: Mmm... why'd you wake me up, babe... and what's that smell?

Josh: Buttered popcorn... I thought you could use some food, so I rustled up something for you. Just a heads up, you might wanna have the ice cream now before it melts.

Lexi: Wait... you found ice cream?

Josh: Yeah, it was right at the back of the freezer!

Josh handed her the bowl of strawberry and vanilla ice cream, and Lexi's eyes lit up. She frantically grabbed the spoon and took the first bite, and savoured it.

Lexi: Mmm... I'm so glad I have you, you're the best for finding this!

Josh: If you want, I'm heading out to meet Finn and Seth, want me to pick some more up from the shops on the way back?

Lexi nodded her head as she shoved a large scoop in her mouth.

Josh: Okay, I'll be sure to do that. You just stay here and rest, and I'll go and meet up with the boys. We can spend some time together tonight, don't you worry.

Lexi: Okay then babe, you have fun!

Little did Lexi know Josh wasn't going to meet up with the boys, as in all honesty, he was actually going to see Natasha to get his point across that he has moved on, and so should she. When he arrived at Starbucks, he saw Natasha sitting outside, having a latte.

Josh: Right, let's get this over with.

Natasha: Look, I know what I did was wrong. I guess you can say I am jealous of your relationship with Lexi. But if you give me another chance, I'll prove to you that I can change, and that I can be a different person.

Josh: I understand what you're saying, but there's one thing that I'm confused about... what happened with you and Murphy?

Natasha: We broke up a couple of weeks ago, cos we had a massive argument about commitments and long story short, I told him I never wanted to see him again.

Josh: And you think that gives you the right to try and get back together with your ex... who happens to be happily engaged and is expecting a baby?

Natasha: I just want you back, I know we can never go back to the way we were, but can you at least consider it?

Josh: Hmm... okay, I'll consider it.

Natasha grew a smile.

Josh: Okay, I've considered it. No. I'll never get back with you, never. After what you did to me and Lexi, why should I even bother? Just get out of my life, Natasha. You can keep trying, but it'll never work. You will never break me and Lexi, me and her are very happy together and always will be. So just give up.

Josh then turned his back on her, leaving her behind.

Natasha: Oh, you'll regret this... you'll regret it so much you'll wish you DID get back together with me!

Josh just sighed as he headed for the supermarket for the ice cream Lexi wanted, then headed home. As a precaution, he blocked Natasha's phone number and also deleted her of all his social media accounts, just incase she tried anything. As he got the ice cream and arrived home, he saw Lexi was still in bed, and Josh joined her.

Lexi: Hey babe, good day?

Josh just sighed as he gave Lexi the ice cream. She noticed he looked stressed.

Lexi: Come on, what's happened babe? You look stressed about something.

Josh: Okay, I might as well explain. I didn't actually go to meet Finn and Seth, I actually met up with Natasha.

Lexi: What?

Josh: Before you say anything, it's not what you think. She was coming onto me via text.

Josh showed her the texts Natasha had sent him, and Lexi looked relieved he was resisting her advances.

Josh: She wouldn't give up, so we met up and I constantly told her to back off and stay away from us. After I did that, I left her there, and blocked her on everything to do with me.

Lexi: I'm glad you did, she's a waste of time. So what has gotten you so stressed?

Josh: Just the fact that I'll regret my decision so much I'll be begging to get back together with her. But don't you worry, I love you too much to leave you, no matter what she threatens me, you or any of our friends with.

Lexi: I'm glad about that babe, cos I dunno how I can live without you. And I dread to think what could happen to our little boy if you weren't around.

Josh: Let's just forget about my estranged ex, and let's focus on you, cos I believe it is someone's birthday soon...

Lexi: Yeah, just under 2 weeks time. Got any plans for it yet?

Josh: I have it all under control, don't worry... now let's get settled down and watch a few Disney movies, I don't mind what ones babe...

Lexi frantically got the remote, set up Netflix, and searched for Disney movies, while Josh muttered to himself.

Josh: Time to get stuff planned... you'll have the best birthday ever...

Lexi: What was that, babe?

Josh: Oh... nothing...

Lexi looked at him with curiosity, while Josh looked pretty smug.

Josh: Just you wait...
