Mel POV

"Morning." I said as I yawned, "Mel could you get my cake out of the oven for me?" Wiz asked, "Why should I? It's not like I'm gonna eat it." I said, "It's for Alice and April, it's their birthday today." She said as she quickly got a second cake out of the oven, "Wait, their the mage and the other swordmaster right?" I asked, "Yes, now please help me decorate the cakes for our friends." She said, "No, they're your friends, not mine. I only like (y/n)." I said, "That doesn't matter! They are (y/n)'s friends too so you should be nice and help make their birthday special!" She said, "Since when are you the boss of me?" I asked, "Since I took you in off the streets out of the kindness of my heart! Now get your scaley butt over here and help me decorate these cakes, young lady!" She said, "Yes mom." I said.

"Damn her! She thinks she can boss me around!" I said angrily. "Hey Mel, could you take the cakes over to Kazuma's house, we're having the party there. Thank you." Wiz said. "Hey girls why don't the two of you come have some fun with us." a man said, "No go away and leave us alone." Alice said, "Oh come now is it cause of this kid? Well, I can fix that!" the man said, suddenly he threw a child behind him, I dropped the cakes and caught the child and saw it was (y/n), "I'll kill them!" I said angrily as I walked over to one of the men and grabbed him, "You need something?" He said as he turned to face me.

"Yes. I need you to go as far away as possible!" I said as I punched him, "YOU BITCH!" He said angrily as he drew his sword and slashed at me, I jumped back and grabbed a sword from a blacksmith's shop, "I'm borrowing this." I said as I picked up a sword.

I cut through the man's blade and kicked him. "This is a good sword." I said as I tried to give the sword back to the blacksmith, "Keep it he and his friend have been harassing and assaulting women for months now. I'm glad to see someone take a stand." He said, "HEY YOU! I challenge you to a fight to the death!" the man said angrily, "Fine it's your funeral." I said. "Mel. You don't have to do this." Alice said, "He tried to hurt my human, I don't have to do this...I want to do this." I said.

"Mel are you sure about this?" Alice asked, "Yes." I said as I sheathed my new sword and picked up another sword, "It's been a while old friend." I said as I sheathed the sword.

"I'll enjoy killing you, and once I do I'm gonna go after those girls again and then kill that kid in front of them!" the man said, "Keep talking, you'll only make this more painful." I said, "Bad Mel!" (y/n) said as he ran out in front of me, "Ohh~. (y...y/n)! G...Go to Alice." I said as I blushed, "So you're one of them are you!" The man said as he punched me in the face, but I didn't move an inch, "The hell do you think you're doing." I said coldly, "B...But I thought you were a masochist!" He said in fear, "No, I only have eyes for my human. I enjoy every moment I have with him regardless of what that moment is." I said as I grabbed his throat, "You also made me drop the cakes Wiz and I made for Alice and April's birthday, and for that, you will pay." I said as my eyes changed to red, "DIE!" another man said as he rushed at me, but I threw his friend at him, "S...She's strong!" the second man said as he got up.

"Two on one? Hardly seems fair...for you." I said as I drew my sword, "This is Knight Bane. Its blade is as strong as a Primordial Dragon!" I said as I held up the sword.

"Now which of you wants to die first?" I said as the second man ran towards me, I sliced through his sword and armor before I stabbed him, "One down." I said as I appeared behind the first man, "One to go." I said, "N...NO! DON'T KILL ME! I'm the son of a nobleman, I...I'll give you whatever you want if you spare my life!" He said in fear, "You tried to hurt my human and then threatened his life. Why would I spare a pathetic worm like you after all that?" I said as I stabbed him, "Plus you ruined the cakes Wiz worked so hard to bake." I said as I slashed my sword flinging the blood off the blade.
