Jake pov

Me, Kanan, Shirei, Dia, Steph, and Yō went over to the aquarium to have some fun. While we were there we separated from one another to have some fun ourselves. Me and Kanan went to see the dolphins, while Shirei and Dia went to see the penguins, and Steph and Yō went to see the sea otters. "Hey check it out there having a show right now wanna go check it out." I asked Kanan and she gave me a nod. We sat down in the seats and watched the show. We were amazed seeing the dolphins do tricks with the trainers and they asked the audience for a volunteer and they pointed to Kanan to come to the stage and instructed her what to do. They told her to lift her arm up which made the dolphin jump in the air. Kanan was amazed at what she did. "So how was it." I asked. "It was amazing." Kanan said as here cat ears perked up with excitement. As we were watching the show still my phone rang. "Hello." I spoke. "Jake this an emergency." Dad said. "Dad what's wrong." I said. "It's your sister." He said. "What happened." I said."I don't know we need you to stay in America for two weeks." He said. "I'll leave as soon as I can." As I hanged up the phone. I sighed and put my hand over my head. "What's wrong jake." Kanan looked concerned. I gestured her to follow me so we don't disturb the people while they are watching the show. "I have to go back to America due to a family emergency." I said. "What when were you told this." Kanan said. "I was on the phone with my dad and he told me it was my sister and I don't like what he said." I told Kanan. "I just don't want you to leave." Kanan was about tear up. "Kanan I won't be gone for long I just got to take care of my sister." I hugged her while she was crying on my chest. "Well I should go now tell Shirei and the others too that I'll be gone." I said too her she nodded and ran out of the aquarium.

Shirei pov

Me and Dia were enjoying our time at the aquarium. While we were walking I saw jake run out of the aquarium. I ran after him. "Where are you going." Dia asked. "I'm going to see where jake is going." I said. As I followed jake out of the aquarium to see that he was on the phone. "What she's in the hospital." He said over the phone. "Alright I'll leave by tonight." He said. My eyes widened at what he said. 'He is leaving tonight why though?' I thought. "Hey jake." I called him. "Shirei." He said. "Who were you on the phone with?" I asked. "I was on the phone with my father he said that my sister is in the hospital and I'll be staying in America to take care of my sister." He said. "Does Kanan know about it." I said. "Yes I told her." He said. "Tell  Dia, Steph, and Yo I'll be gone too." He said I nodded.

I walked back to the aquarium seeing Dia there waiting for me. "So what happened." She asked looking at me. "Jake will be in America to take care of something." I said. "He told me to tell you and the others about his absence." I said. Then we continued on with our day and looked at other animals.

Jake pov

I went back to me and kanan's house to pack up my things for my stay in America to see what happened of what father talked to me about. I packed my luggage and walked out the door. I called a taxi to take me to the airport.

(Timeskip)

I got to the airport and paid for my ticket. I went to the gate and got on the plane. I put my luggage in the compartment above me and took my seat for a plane ride home not knowing what will happen.

(Time skip at America)

I woke up and looked out the window seeing Los Angeles in a full view. I got off the plane and picked up my luggage from the pick up. "Jake." I heard a familiar voice. "Dad." I ran up to him and hugged him. "How ya doing son." He ruffled my hair. "I'm doing fine." I smiled at him. "What happened to Aiko  ." I asked. "She got runned over by a car while she was out with her friends." He said. "What." My eyes widened. "Her friends informed us and the ambulance took her to the hospital." He said. We drove to the hospital to see Aiko . When we got to the hospital I saw mom sitting next to Aiko on her bed. "Jake." Mom said. "Hey mom." I hugged her. "Dad told me of what happened to Aiko." I said. "Yeah we were informed about this a few hours ago." Mom said. "I wait for her to wake up." I said. "Alright we'll be leaving goodbye son." Mom said. Mom left with dad and I sat in the seat where mom was sitting waiting for Aiko to wake up.
