What are filler chapters? When and how do you use them?~~Walkinthewoods

Filler chapters are when you have something you want to get to that's exciting, but you still need to connect where you are at in the story to the part you want to be at. These chapters are usually thought of as boring because nothing much pertaining to plot advancement happens. 

My advice would be not to use them. Keep everything important and exciting.
