POV~ Courtney Pierce (Nick's mom)

I walk into the living room and see Nick running out the door and jumping into the truck. The bitch didn't have to slam the door.
I go into his room and notice that he left his phone. I know I shouldn't look through it, but he won't know.
I open his phone and notice a very long message from a random number.
Hey Nick it's Andrew! I know we haven't talked in a while and I know you've probably moved on and what not, but I just wanted to know if you're okay.
"Oh it's just a nice little text from a friend" I saw aloud. I continue reading;
I also need you to know that I love you more than anyone or anything in this broken world and no distance can keep us apart. I cry myself to sleep each night think about how you're not lying next to me. Caressing my face and holding me. Whispering poetic words in my ear till I fall asleep. You are my everything.
