MINAH'S POV

Nine students had inexplicably disappeared and the remaining seven were trying hard to survive.  Danger lurks at every corner and they can't seem to trust anything or anyone. Their only defense strategy is to run and so far, that strategy has proved to be useless. But some of them are still very hopeful.

"I've lost all hope!" Kicky yelled and they nodded so they had all really lost hope.

"See my life.  Ordinary trip has turned into horror movie. When will it end? Now that Tall Daniel is gone, who will support Irayo?"
Gbolex was dramatic.

"Shut up," Irayo hissed.

Minah sighed. She really didn't understand how humans could be arguing at this moment. Her vampire mate was gone, and her human mate was injured. My life is really f*cked. She was pathetic.

"Ahhh!! Take me away. Oh,  yes, forest, just take me to my demon mate,"  Minah wailed In exaggeration.

"If I insult you now, you'll get upset. Which one is demon mate?" Kicky asked and smacked Minah's head.

"Ouch! I'm still mourning for my loss," Minah nearly raised her voice.

They were thankful that the day was bright but without warning, it started darkening and the woods began to close in on them. They heard a loud noise that caused them to shiver.

"CHRIST!" Great exclaimed. "What the hell are those?"

Right in front of them, stood three wolves. Black as Night. White as snow. And the most beautiful gold Minah had ever seen.

"My werewolf mate!" Minah squealed.

"Here we go again." Irayo sighed.

They howled simultaneously and shifted to their human form. One could tell that they were all Alphas because of their majestic demeanor. Minah could sense that her mate was one of them.

"Welcome to our pack lands, our Lunas," the black wolf greeted.

"What the actual F is going on here?" Ese was just as dazed as his fellow friends.

"It's our pleasure. And I know you're mine," Minah boldly stated, winking flirtatiously at the gold wolf.

He chuckled.

The other two werewolves went to their respective mates who happened to be Zaizai and unbelievably Irayo. Irayo's mate smoothly kissed Irayo on her cheek.

Gasps could be heard. "Ahhh!" Great yelled.

"It should have been on the lips," Kicky said, almost smiling.

"Tall Daniel was forgotten so soon," Ese rolled his eyes at Irayo.

"So love, where are we going to?"Zaizai asked her mate.  He was so much in love with her. Of course, it was the bond working its way into their hearts, but the eyes never lie.

"Love? Zaizai and Irayo are acting so strange. This isn't like them," Short Daniel pointed out but no one paid attention. No one except Kicky.

"Shut up! You're just jealous that you don't have love," Kicky mocked him.

Minah's mate began to speak, "We're here to check the people that trespassed on our borders. When we got here, we found our mates and a few unwanted guests. We are meant to take you all to the dungeon and then later bring you guys to be beaten with the nine-tailed whip."

Irayo's mate continued. "But we won't cause of our mates."

Zaizai's mate concluded. "So, we'll just take one human 'cause my pack felt the intruder's presence but you need to decide who it'll be in two minutes."

"Wahala for who no get mate," Kicky said in broken English.

This would be hard as no one would want to be sacrificed. As expected, the group started bickering. No one wanted to volunteer and time wasn't on their side. 

"Guys, two minutes will soon be up," Short Daniel indicated.

"Why is this one even talking?" Minah hissed. Poor Short Daniel, everyone had it in for him.

"It's almost time, Hermosa (beautiful). They will disappear into thin air when the time is up," Minah's mate softly told her.

They all sighed and said their goodbyes with tight hugs.

"Nobody is taking me anywhere!" Great shouted.

"It's not my time yet," Gbolex hoped.

Screams of "Ahhh!!" echoed around. Kicky turned into sand.

"NO!!!" They wept.

"Tell Ranti to f*ck himself," Kicky stated before she was gone completely.

"Of sand, we are made off. So shall we return to sand!" Great voiced.

"Idiot, shut up!" They barked at him for being so insensitive.
