Stay and Take your Photos - Shapeshifter!Eddie Munson/Steve Harrington

Steve had always loved the outdoors and wildlife, while his parents saw camping as a nice hotel room with a shower Steve wanted more. So as he got older he picked up a camera and started at just photos of pound dogs and the local animals in the woods surrounding his house, into highschool he would camp out on his own or with some friends and as he got more into the hobby he actually turned it into a career.

Steve would travel for his work, he would travel with breeding cycles of certain animals he was mostly into capturing deer, elk, moose, foxes, and different species of birds. He would find campsites or rent cabins and hang out for a weekend up to a week. His parents money had made it comfy for the first while, and now he had his own to spend.

Steve was trying out a new camping spot for a weekend and he was just hoping he would spot some good wildlife.

Eddie had been born to a human mother and a shape shifting father, human in a way but inhuman in others. At five his father came back for him, took him into the woods, and taught him how to be what he was. He hadn't left since then, and didn't plan to. He knew he wasn't normal, unlike his father he couldn't just shift into anything he wanted unless he consumed that thing first.

To devour was to become. That was what he remembered from the day he was eight.

He did find it easier to consume certain wildlife in the forms of other wildlife. He was no match for a bear or a bull moose, but if he was a crow or a vulture he could easily consume them once they had passed.

He had a myriad of animals he could shift into now, to him it was a way of life and survival. He knew how humans were, what they would and wouldn't tolerate and when the hunting seasons were for certain animals so he wasn't dumb enough to shift into one of those during certain seasons unless he was far from human kind. He had a makeshift home in an old abandoned cabin far from trouble. However there was a camping area a two hour walk from his place of residence.

As a bird he would check out their supplies, examine how many people were there and if they had any dogs.

Dogs posed a problem, they seemed to know he wasn't what he was trying to pretend to be.

As a raccoon or in his human form he would snatch items they left out when they went on rides or just left camp in general, humans were mostly trusting in the woods. And when things went missing they would chock it up to being misplaced or maybe one of the kids took off with it. When they saw raccoon paws they often thought something cute and fuzzy had paid them a visit and snatched it.

Eddie was smart about who he took from and who he interacted with. He did find some were easy to converse with as a 'human' he could say he was on a walk and was just camping up ahead, they'd offer him a place by the fire and a roasted marshmallow or a beer, some even offered dinner. Some were more standoffish, Eddie could certainly tell a few didn't believe he was human even when he was half. There were some that could just tell, no matter what he did to try to convince them.

He looked human, he spoke normal English and had picked up some Spanish too, he could play a guitar, knew how to set up tents and do most things a normal human would know how to do, but there was always something off. No matter the form he took, there was always something off, but it was a hard detail to spot.

As a hummingbird he was a bit too dark and his wings didn't flap as fast as the others, as a male deer his antlers were in a better term funky, he was a three point on one side and a two point on the other. On his three point side he has two prongs that met at the points. As a doe his left ear was a bit shorter than the right.

Being half human meant his shifts were never really perfect, most people couldn't tell the difference between a normal animal and his slightly different shifted one. Most of his issues weren't as easy to spot like his male deer form, however some deer just ended up with strange racks.

He flew over a new camper as they set up their tent for the night, the man had a few items with him, a cooler, a black bag that he assumed was for clothes, his car, when he sat down he opened the black bag however and pulled out a camera.

Eddie landed on a stump, cocking his head slightly to watch him. Steve lifted his head up at the sound of fluttering feathers. "Hello," Steve smirked, "pretty bird."

Eddie tapped his beak on the stump as if he was looking for bugs, Steve lifted his camera and snapped a few pictures of his crow form, Eddie waited to allow him to do so before heading off.

This man was different, he could just feel it in his bones.

Steve smiled looking over the photos, he narrowed his eyes a bit, the crow's eye looked more human than he thought it should but it didn't really matter, they were nice shots.

Steve set up a bird feeder to his left and a hummingbird feeder to the right to draw in a few animals to easily snap. He put on his hiking boots, backpack, and headed out on a walk. He wanted to see what he could see from the trials and how far out he would have to travel to get some good images.

Eddie hopped from tree to tree, watching the human man on his little hike, he would stop and snap photos of flowers and strangely shaped trees. If a squirrel or chipmunk made itself known he would stop and take a few photos. Eddie climbed down from the tree he was in and stood on a rock from Steve to spot him, as a squirrel he was pitch black.

Steve froze as he saw the dark colors squirrel on the rock, cracking a nut.

Steve slowly crept towards it, before kneeling down to snap the photos. He had never seen a pitch black squirrel before, he was mesmerized. Eddie turned to face Steve giving him one good face shot before heading off.

Steve looked over the photos; a big smile on his face. He already liked this place.

Eddie continued to follow him, Steve walked pretty silently the occasional grunt as he walked over a large rock or had to push a branch from his face. Unlike many humans Eddie had watched over the years, he did his best not to mess with the natural environment. If he ended up having to move a rock to get around it, he would put it back in the spot he found it give or take a few inches. Eddie shifted and flew towards a river he was coming upon and shifted to his doe form.

He didn't know why, but he wanted this human to stick around.

Steve walked slowly towards the sound of flowing water, he snapped a photo of a few trout as he made his way upward until he spotted her.

A doe, drinking water. Steve slowly lowered himself down and began to take pictures, the doe turned to look at him and both just stopped and stared.

Steve snapped a few more photos, then the doe ran off. Steve leaned back, smiling wide.

This place was a gold mine.

Steve snapped some pictures of butterflies and birds, Eddie watched from the treeline. "This place is gorgeous."

Steve sat just happy to enjoy the sun, he watched a few butterflies flutter past him. Suddenly he felt something soft nudging his hand. A small black and white bunny sat by his knee.

Steve was mesmerized. "Well hello friend." He carefully offered it a clover. The bun nibbled at it before turning, fluffed its tail at him, and took off into the tall grass. Steve pushed himself off the ground and headed back to his camp.

Eddie followed him, changing form every little while. Steve made himself a lunch, while he was sitting there Eddie walked towards him from up the path. He waved and gave a curt nod. "Hello." Steve said. "How's it going?"

Eddie smirked, good he was one of the nice campers. He assumed he was but some people were very different with animals and people.

"Good, just taking a walk."

"It's gorgeous up here isn't it?"

"Yes." Eddie agreed. "It is very pretty, I love being up here. My camps a bit deeper in the woods, I like the animals and stuff. They don't bother much with humans."

Steve nodded a bit. "I haven't been here long. But it's been great already, I'm a wildlife photographer. Wanted to try and new place and it's already been bountiful."

Eddie nodded, a slight smirk on his face. "Seems like a fun job," he examined him closely, he wondered what it would have been like to stay with his mother and not be taken by his father.

Steve smiled at him. "How often do you come up here?"

"Yearly."

"I may start doing that, if it keeps up like this."

Eddie grinned a bit. "What kind of animals are you looking to snap pictures of?"

"Moose, a buck I got a doe, a fox or badger would be cool. I really just take whatever I can get but you know the more I can get the better. This is my livelihood the more pictures I get the better chance of a meal and paying on the house you know."

Eddie simply nodded, he didn't know, well at least the paying on the house. He didn't pay for food at least. He could fill up on a myriad of things. Meat or grass, depended on what he was shifted as. He didn't need to consume food the way normal humans did, he could have raw meat, even dead meat. As long as he was eating he was fine.

"See you around?" Eddie asked as he started up the trail. Steve nodded and waved to him. Steve smiled as he watched him walk away. He seemed nice, and to be hones he was very handsome.

Eddie grinned, he liked that man.

Steve packed up a quick dinner and headed out. He wanted to stay out and watch, he knew that the later in the day it got the more people would head back to camp, which meant the wildlife was out.

Steve hiked up a few trials before he came across a clearing near a lake. He leaned against a tree and just waited. After half an hour a moose emerged to take a drink. Steve snapped a few photos of it, smiling wide. The bull moose simply kept drinking until a female stepped out as well. Steve watched wide eyed, getting a few photos from his spot.

Eddie dipped his head down to drink from the lake, he was the cow moose, he knew it was safer to be around the bull moose as a female so he kept his head down and drank. Steve was losing his mind. It had been one day and he already had amazing photos.

The bull turned and headed back into the deeper woods, Eddie stayed for a long time before he too headed away. Steve slowly pushed himself off the ground and made his way back to camp, his flashlight his guiding light. A few moths buzzed around him, he didn't swat at them or seem bothered. Eddie kept close pace in the tall grass, he didn't know why he felt so close to this human but he found him mesmerizing.

Steve made it back to camp after a while, as he came into camp he spotted a raccoon rifling through his leftovers. He lowered himself down and snapped a few pictures before finally walking up to his site. The raccoon hissed before running off, a marshmallow as his prize.

Steve opened his tent, and slid in, as he zipped it up Eddie fluttered in as a month and positioned himself up on the roof of it. Watching him carefully.

Steve got changed and snuggled up to go to sleep. Eddie dropped down to the ground and made his way out of the small opening before heading back to his home for the night.

He wanted to keep this man around. For years to come.

Steve woke that morning to the sound of songbirds. He rubbed his eyes and stepped out in the morning sun, he packed up a backpack and decided to go out for the whole day. He wanted to see what he could see if he just stayed out and came back closer to night.

Eddie was out on a hunt for something for his morning breakfast as a lynx. He chased around a few bunnies and mice before he morphed back to his human frame. He wiped blood from his lips before heading out.

Steve sat on the edge of a lake, he snapped photos of frogs and turtles. He heard the sound of an eagle, looking up he spotted a bald eagle swooping for a fish. Steve snapped photo after photo to catch it in the middle of its hunt. Steve sighed this place was perfect.

Eddie finally found Steve after searching for a while. He swapped into his fox form and made his way closer, slowly inching towards him. He raced across the trail and splashed in the water swiping at fish that got close. Steve started snapping photos immediately.

The fox raced about, happily snatching at bugs and sniffing about. Steve spotted a few speckles on its left flank. That seemed so odd to him, he had never seen a Fox with a speckled coat but it was only on one spot on it.

"Aren't you a beauty."

He followed it from a far before it took off. Steve smiled, this place was something else. He headed back to his camp, he had continually snapped photo after photo while walking back,. Eddie was sitting on the hummingbird feeder slurping the sweet nectar. Steve sat back, enjoying the view and his seat.

Eddie fluttered off before landing further in the forest a bit away. He morphed back into his human form and made his way back down the path to Steve. "Hey, how's it going?"

"Good, I am getting great pictures." He smiled. "I will come around for the next few years."

Eddie smiled big, that was what he was hoping to hear. He wanted to keep him around for a long, long time. Steve did just that, every year he would come back, and Eddie would happily morph from creature to creature ensuring that Steve got good pictures, Steve began to recognize a few creatures, his patterns weren't hard to miss depending on what he was, specifically his fox form. Each year he and Steve would be friendly, spend time together, Steve would make him food.

Steve was examining his photos in his tent on year three of coming back when he heard a familiar voice.

"Back again, right on time." Eddie called. Steve slipped out.

"Eddie!"

"Hey Steve, how's the photography business going?"

"Really good actually, this place has been, amazing."

Eddie smiled, glad to the star of the photos that were earning him a good living. "Hey, I was wondering if you would want to maybe uh-." Eddie began to get flustered as Steve's big brown eyes stared up at him with that goofy smirk on his face.

"Maybe?"

"I uh- if you would want to maybe go to the lake together.. Or we could just spend tonight together like smores and stuff."

"Are you asking me on a date?" Steve asked with a grin.

"I- y-yeah if you would like to do that."

Steve smirked. "I would, yes."

Eddie smiled, they started to pack up for a picnic at the lake when the clouds turned dark. "Oh, it looks like it might rain." Eddie said, partly disappointed. "I guess maybe tom-"

"Stay with me tonight, I don't want you to walk in the rain."

"Y-you sure?"

"Yeah, stay."

Eddie smiled softly, so with Steve he stayed that night. They talked and laughed, the storm raged outside but did nothing to them. They stayed nice and dry inside Steve's tent. Steve leaned over slightly and Eddie leaned in meeting him halfway. They leaned into one another, kissing desperately, Eddie climbed on Steve's lap straddling him in desire.

Steve ran a hand through his hair. "I-I didn't think you felt the same way." Steve managed out after trying pulling back for a moment.

"And I thought you didn't feel that way about me." Eddie remarked softly.

The two pulled away before laughing for a few minutes. They leaned in and kissed one another again, desperate and needy for one another before Eddie pushed Steve against the cot. Steve groaned a bit as Eddie ran his fingers through his hair, tipping his chin up to kiss him. He bit his lip carefully, drawing it back before he groaned a bit. "Steve, I.. I would like to go all the way but there is something I have to tell you."

Steve's eyes widened in need. He wanted to go all the way too. "You really want t-."

"Yes, but listen to me."

Steve was focused, he stared up at him with big wide eyes. "Okay, what is it?"

"I'm intersex."

Steve took a bit to look at him but simply smiled. "Do you want me to wear a condom?"

Eddie only smiled at the response. "Not unless you want to wear one."

"Are you okay with me not?"

"Yes."

"Then I think I won't."

"Are you okay with me being in charge?" Eddie asked.

Steve's face lit up. "Y-yeah."

"Good." Eddie grinned as he began to strip him. The two were soon in their birthday suits, Eddie pinned Steve down and climbed on top of him, straddling him. Eddie spit on Steve's throbbing cock and ran his hand up and down in desire. Steve groaned as Eddie lined Steve's cock with his entrance and slid it inside of him. Steve gasped out in pleasure as Eddie began to bounce on his cock.

"Fuck..." Steve groaned as Eddie bounced on top of him. Steve reached for Eddie's cock that was bouncing with each movement, it was still decently large. Steve jerked him off while he rode him. Eddie snickered as he continued to use Steve like a dildo. Steve's eyes crossed. "I- I think I need to cum already..." Steve managed out. "Pl-please.."

"Cum then." Eddie groaned. He continued to bounce, Steve's eyes rolled in the back of his head as he felt Eddie's walls tighten around him. Steve gasped out as his seed filled Eddie's pussy.

"Oh F-fuck.." Steve groaned. Eddie grinned and pulled away, cum sliding down his inner thigh.

"I need to cum now." Eddie muttered, kissing Steve's jaw line. He flipped Steve over and spread his hole, he spit on his puckered ass, giving his own length a few jerks before lining up. "You're going to take my cum now." He muttered as he grabbed Steve's hair in his fist. Steve cried out as Eddie slid inside.

Steve gripped the bed while Eddie used him, the shapeshifter was greatly enjoying himself, he was going to use Steve for his pleasure. Steve lt out soft mewls and cries with each thrust of Eddie's cock.

"Fuck.. you're tight.."Eddie moaned. "If you need to cum again you better hold it."

Steve only nodded, he wasn't sure what the reasoning was at this moment, but he didn't care he was going to do as Eddie requested.

Eddie continued to thrust deep and fast, he gripped Steve's left hip with one hand and held his hair in his fist with the other. Eddie continued to thrust and slam inside of Steve's now deflowered hole. Steve screamed out as Eddie's cock hit his prostate.

"F-fuck!"

"That's it..." Eddie growled before exploding, he filled Steve with a round of seed, he slowly thrusted in and out, the sheets growing wet with cum.

"I- I gotta cu-cum again.. Please Eddie.. Please let me cum."

Eddie pulled out of Steve's throbbing hole, cum trickling over his balls. Eddie flipped Steve over and straddled him once more, as soon as Steve's cock was inside of his wet pussy again, Steve was cuming.

"Oh fuck!"

"That's a good boy." Eddie teased as he leaned forward and kissed him passionately. "That is a good boy."

Steve's eyes crossed in satisfaction, he had cum twice in about ten minutes and he was more than pleased, he could feel cum running down his cheeks and over his cock and balls. Eddie kissed him again before pulling away. Steve offered some baby wipes and the two cleaned themselves off. The rain had stopped now, but Steve asked Eddie to stay with him at least for the night. So Eddie did just that. When the sun came up the two parted ways, Steve needed to get back to the city and to sell his work while Eddie had a forest to stay in.

A few months passed and Eddie felt off. Then he realized whenever he morphed his belly hung lower than it usually did.

His eyes widened in surprise.

He was pregnant.

Eddie couldn't help but be pleased, he had always hoped to have a child like himself. He was more careful than usual, stayed closer to his makeshift home, and ensured a little nursery was set up. He would teach his child to be like himself, keep him from the human world as much as he could.

He was slightly sad, he wanted to see Steve again, but he didn't want him to know about the child. If he knew of the child, he would pull them back into normality, he would want to settle down. Which honestly didn't seem horrible, but he wanted to stay here. He wanted to be the creature he was born to be. A normal life wouldn't allow him to live like that.

He wanted his kid to be as free as he was.

His child was born on Valentines Day, a sweet little boy, and clearly like himself. He named him Dustin, and from the moment he was able to he was trying to teach him to morph and to survive. He was five months old by the time Steve came back around.

Shapeshifters aged slightly different, they aged quicker in infancy to ensure they could morph and survive. While as a human child he still couldn't walk or talk, morphed he was able to walk to an extent and to communicate as that creature. Eddie explained that he wouldn't be able to speak to his real father but they could meet him. Eddie had Dustin morph into a fox kit, and they waited at the lake.

Steve was walking, taking photos of everything he saw and heard when he heard the sound of a fox. Coming into view he could see the fox he had gotten photos of before. He recognized the odd coat, and his eyes widened in surprise when he saw a young kit, curled up beside her. Steve snapped a few photos, wide eyed at such a find.

Eddie watched Steve as he came into view, he nudged Dustin awake and the kit began to run around to play. Steve snapped photo after photo of the young kit, not knowing it was his own son. He had been somewhat disappointed he hadn't seen Eddie around yet, but he was more than happy to have this experience in his favorite spot.

Eddie yipped and Dustin chased after him, and the two disappeared into the woods. They morphed once they were closer to home and Eddie picked up his child. "That was your daddy, and he clearly adores you already. I'm sorry you won't know him very well."

Dustin snuggled into Eddie, he placed him in his crib and then he morphed, he turned into a bird and flew to Steve's camp ground. He waited for him, contemplating saying hello but he worried that if he did that he would want to leave the woods, and he couldn't do that. So he turned around as Steve came into view of the bath, flying back to his child.

Dustin mattered more now, carrying on the line and life of what they were was more important.
