Author's Note:

Heyyyyyy guyyyys. I'm gonna wait one more chapter to decide if Serena wears the original Alola girl outfit, or my own creation that resembles it. Well, here is chapter 2. Last chapter seemed a little rushed in my opinion, but you guys seemed to like it still. I will work harder! And now, chapter 2...

Ash ran towards the door, and tried to open it. He looked behind him to see Serena putting her clothes into her bag. "I think we need to use one of our Pokemon, it won't budge!"

Serena finished putting her clothes in her bag, and pulled out a Pokeball. "You're right, move please!" Ash moved away from the door. "Pancham, come on out!" she threw the Pokeball towards the door and out came a short panda looking Pokemon. "Use Arm Thrust on the door! Hit it open!"

"Pan Pancham!" Pancham's arm started to shine a glowing white, and hit his arm against the door. The door came off its hinges, and flew open, hitting the floor, flat on its face.

"Good job Serena! And Pancham of course!" Ash said

"Yeah, good job Pancham!" Serena congratulated her Pokemon.

"Pancham." Pancham crossed his arms, standing proud.

"Now come on! They still have Pikachu!" Ash said, pointing towards the open door. Pancham ran in first, trying to be brave of course. In the room was two staircases, one going up, and one going down. "Which way did they go?" They both stopped in the room, looking both ways, wondering which way to go.

"We should split up, it would be easier to find Pikachu that way." Serena said, running forward to Ash, hugging him. She let go and held his hand in front of her. "Be careful, okay?"

"I will, and you do the same." Ash nodded, then started to walk away from Serena, still having his hand in hers. They let go, brushing the end of their fingertips to touch each other for as long as they can.

Ash ran up the stairs, trying to see if he can see the bad guys. If they are who I think they are, then they most likely have a hot air balloon ready. He continued running up the stairs until he got to to the top floor. He stopped to take a breath. They are probably outside this door, I better be prepared. He slowly opened the door, peeking outside. He saw the Meowth hot air balloon, floating above a helipad. A blue haired man threw a ladder over the hot air balloon railing, down to his partner, who had reddish-purple hair.

Ash rushed outside, confronting the lady who was getting on the ladder. "Give me Pikachu back!"

"James, the twerp is here!" The reddish-purple haired lady said. 'James' jumped down next to her, and they both ripped off their fake clothes, throwing them into the air.

"Prepare for trouble! You won't get your Pikachu back!"

"And make it double! And yes that Pikachu is something that you lack!"

"To protect the world from devastation"

"To unite our people, within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach, to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"And James.."

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a totally -"

"I don't want to hear your stupid motto again!" Ash interrupted

"Hey! I didn't even get to say my line!?" the Meowth said angrily, putting his fist up to him.

"Yeah! We didn't get to finish! How rude of you twerp! .... Where's twerpette?" Jessie said, looking around, confused.

Oh right, she is probably looking for them still... I hope she finds us. Ash thought, looking behind him at the staircase. "She didn't want to deal with your games!"

"Oh this surely isn't a game, we will steal Pikachu this time!" Meowth, James, and Jessie jumped onto the ladder, climbing it, all the way to the top. "Take off Wobbuffet!"

"Wobbuffet!" The wobbuffet put his hand up, saluting. Then he turned the wheel, making it float away.

The hot air balloon was floating away, but the ladder was still level with Ash. The ladder was slowly going off the edge, getting pulled by the balloon. Ash ran forward, jumping off of the boat, and reached for the ladder.

Serena looked at Ash running up the stairs, worried. "Well, okay Pancham! Let's go find Pikachu!" She looked down at her Pokemon, nodding. They ran down the stairs, looking at the floor level each time. After a while they reached the bottom floor. They stopped to take a breather. "Wow, that was a lot of stairs."

"Pan..." Pancham sighed, looking back up the staircase. Both of them walked outside the door, looking out towards the ocean. "Wow... it's so beautiful. How could they ruin our day like this!"

"Cham!" Pancham said, agreeing with Serena. She looked up, seeing a Meowth hot air balloon take off.

"Do you think that's them, Pancham? I had a feeling it was Team Rocket..." She asked her Pokemon, still looking up at the balloon.

"Cham Cham..." Pancham nodded

Serena noticed that there was a ladder hanging off the side of the balloon. At the end of the ladder there was a person. She looked closer, noticing the person had a blue jacket, red hat, and jeans. "Ash! It has to be!" His hat flew off because of the wind, falling into the ocean. "Ash..."

Serena ran down the path, still looking up towards her boyfriend. "I can't do anything... I won't get there in time." She thought for a second, looking around. "Pancham! I see an elevator! Come on! It will be faster than using the stairs!" They ran inside, and Serena automatically looked at the buttons. There was no top floor button but she could get to the deck. She pressed the deck button and the doors closed. It took about a minute before they reached the deck. They ran outside and looked at the hot air balloon, now not moving. Ash was climbing the ladder, reaching the middle.

"Braixen! Come out!" Serena tossed the Pokeball into the air, letting the fire fox Pokemon out.

"Braixen!"

"Pancham! Can you use Stone Edge to boost Braixen up to the balloon?" Serena asked her panda Pokemon

"Pan Pan-Cham!"

"You ready Braixen"

"Braixen!" The fox Pokemon nodded.

Pancham slammed his hands into the deck, launching Braixen from a huge, glowing rock.

"Braixen! Use Scratch on the balloon!"

Braixen landed on the top of the balloon, and dug her white paw into it, and bounced back onto the cruise ship. The balloon slowly started to fall.

"Hey! What's going on here!" A security guard ran up to Serena.

"The people in the balloon stole Ash's Pikachu! We are helping him get it back!"

"And where is Ash"

Serena pointed at Ash, halfway up the ladder, floating down with the balloon. "Can you get a boat out there! To help him?"

"We sure can!" He pulled out his radio. "Excuse me, can someone get one of the rafts out on the right side of the boat, we need help rescuing someone."

"Yes sir! It's on its way!" The person on the other side of the radio responded.

Serena saw the raft, coming out of the side of the ship. It had two people on it, scrambling to get below the balloon in time. They finally got below the balloon, ready to get Ash. Ash started to climb up it, most likely still trying to get Pikachu.

"Hey! Get down here, it's not safe!" The 'lifeguards' screamed, waving up at Ash.

Ash ignored them, finally getting to the top of the ladder, jumping into the basket. "Now give me Pikachu, Team Rocket!" Ash saw Pikachu in the glass ball, getting held by Meowth.

"You will never get him!" Meowth responded.

Ash pulled out a Pokeball, and tossed it in the air. "Hawlucha! Use Karate Chop on the glass ball!"

The fighting bird Pokemon came out, automatically hitting his glowing white hand into the ball. The glass broke, letting Pikachu out. They all started tumbling, losing balance. The basket finally touched the water, now sinking. "Pikachu! Use thunderbolt!" Ash and Hawlucha jumped out of the basket, luckily into the raft that the two people were in. The balloon started to go up in thunder, glowing yellow. Then came three massive explosions, sending Team Rocket into the sky.

(Following Team Rocket blasting off)

"Well, we were close this time." Jessie said, laying back, disappointed.

"Yep, now, where are we going to land?" James replied

"Hopefully on land " Meowth said, crossing his arms

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN......" All three of them shouted

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet screeched. Then all four of them disappeared into the sky.

The raft floated back into the side of the boat. Ash got off of the raft, onto the mini dock. "Thank you guys!" he waved to the lifeguards. They waved back in return. He looked around to see 10 other rafts, ready to go. Nice to see they are prepared. He walked up a staircase, leading into a small room. He saw a door to the right, leading outside. His Pokemon followed him. "Thanks Hawlucha, you were great!"

"Hawlucha!" Hawlucha stood proud, while getting sent back into his Pokeball.

"How are you buddy?" Ash looked up onto his shoulder, seeing Pikachu smiling

"Pika!" He nuzzled Ash's face. Ash smiled in return, scratching behind Pikachu's ear.

Ash opened the door, to see the beautiful blue ocean, glistening in the sun. They were pretty far from land now, he could barely see the beach from where he was. He looked around to see a elevator. He walked inside and took the elevator up to the deck, trying to find Serena. There, he saw an even better view of the ocean, dropping his jaw, in awe. "Wow Pikachu! Look at this view!"

"Chaaaaa.." Pikachu squeaked, also in awe.

"Ash!" Ash looked behind him, to see Serena running up to him.

"Serena!" She pounced on him, kissing his lips. He wrapped his arms around her waist. They both closed their eyes, enjoying the moment. They slowly separated.

"Ash! Don't do that again! You made me so worried." Serena said, now hugging him.

"What did I do?" Ash sounded confused.

"You were hanging from a ladder! 100 feet above the ocean! You could've fallen!" Serena explained, now separating from Ash.

"Well, I kinda had to. They weren't going to get away with Pikachu."

"Be more careful next time... okay?"

"Alright.. Now let's go back to the shops! I still have to find my new clothes."

"Oh right... by the way your hat flew off of you."

Ash patted his head, trying to feel his hat. "Oh no! I was going to keep that hat...."

"It's fine, we can go get a new one." Serena held his hand and dragged him to the stairs.

"Ugh, more stairs." Ash shrugged, dragging his feet.

"It's just one floor, come on.." Serena said, also seeming like she didn't want to climb the stairs.

They walked up to the second floor, into the shops. Ash looked around, trying to find a men's store. "Over there! I see some cool stuff!" Ash pointed towards one of the stores, now dragging Serena behind him.

"Alright, it's up to you, I will like what you like!" Serena said enthusiastically, going into the store with him.
