Author's Note:

Hey guys! This is a continuation of my one shot "A Must Have Relationship." I didn't make this the second chapter because it wouldn't go smoothly, so I just decided to make this a 'sequel" or something. In that one shot it was somewhat sexual, which some of you liked, but i'm gonna tone it down a little more. Once in awhile they may do something but not all the time like they did in that one shot. It makes it more special if they do it once in awhile. This story starts off in the same place they left off in the previous story, so if you haven't read it, go read it I recommend it.

In this story Ash and Serena are around 16-18 years old, not too sure but somewhere around there. .

After Ash and Serena left each other's arms, they started to walk onto the cruise ship, waving back to Serena's mother. Serena's mother, whose name was Grace, actually bought the cruise ship tickets for them. For the few days they were staying at Grace's house they had to work, but also had to have fun, proving that this relationship was everything to them. They successfully did so and Grace bought cruise tickets. Ash found them early on accident and Grace told him not to tell Serena about it. Together they surprised Serena by bringing her to the cruise ship while she was sleeping.

When Ash and Serena finally reached the cruise ship from the walkway, they gave the workers their tickets. They handed them each a room key. "Thank you, we hope you have fun on the cruise!" The workers said. One of them had reddish-purple hair that was tucked into her hat, and another had blue hair that was put in a bun on the back of his head. The last one was a Meowth that looked like the manager. Ash nodded and looked away. Pikachu noticed the workers glare at him, then give an immediate smile afterwards.

The couple started to walk towards the front of the boat, to see if there was a good view or not. They looked towards the road to see Serena's mother, still trying to get their attention. They stopped, turned towards her, and waved a huge goodbye. Grace made a heart with her hands and winked at them. They both waved goodbye, smiling happily. Grace got in her car and drove away.

"Are you going to miss her?" Ash said, still looking at the car driving away.

"Yeah, but it is worth it. I'll see her again." Serena responded, while putting her arm around his waist. "Come on, let's go to the front of the boat. I wanna see the ocean!"

Ash smiled and started to walk, following Serena. It was a pretty big cruise ship, it took a while to get even halfway across the side. Ash looked back at the line, it was going down the road, and into the street. Wow, i'm glad we got here early, we would of been in line for hours. The line was going pretty fast actually, he looked at the workers scrambling, looking like they were moving at the speed of light. He chuckled a little then looked back towards Serena. She was quite far ahead so he ran a little to catch up. He finally caught up and Pikachu jumped on her hat.

"Pikachu! Are you happy to go to another new adventure?" Serena asked, looking up at Pikachu.

"Pika!" He pumped his fist in the air, looking determined.

"He sure is! Pikachu wants to meet new friends and battle the new gyms!" Ash said, looking up at Pikachu. Pikachu nodded in return. Ash then looked down and put his hand on his chin, thinking.

"What are you thinking about? The gyms?" Serena asked, looking at Ash.

"No... I usually drop off my Pokemon at Professor Oak's lab, and start the new adventure with new Pokemon. I guess I will transfer them over at the Pokemon Center there.

"Don't think about that now, have fun while we are here, it's gonna be a while before we get to Alola. I'm sure they would like to spend some more time with you before you get new Pokemon." Serena replied, looking ahead at the front of the boat. They didn't really notice but they stopped when Ash started to think.

"Well, okay. I guess it would be fun to spend some more time with them while I have them." He then smiled brightly, looking at Greninja's Pokeball. Pikachu then took Serena's hat in his mouth and ran along the edge of the boat.

"Hey! Pikachu!" Serena said, while laughing and started to chase after him.

"Pikachu! Where are you going?" Ash also chasing after him, laughing.

Pikachu ran along the side, and hopped across the picnic tables near the front of the boat. He then climbed one of the umbrellas to get on top of it, then jumped across onto the floor above them.

"Pikachu!" Ash and Serena said, stopping to take a breath, and looked at Pikachu. Pikachu was taunting them, shaking the hat in his mouth.

"Haha, very funny, now give back the hat!" Serena said, jokingly

He shook his head no and ran deeper into the cruise ship. Pikachu was out of view now. "Well, I guess we have to find him now. What's gotten into him? Is he playing or trying to show us something." Ash said to Serena, wondering what Pikachu's goal was. Ash looked around, trying to find a quick way up to the second floor.

"I think he is just playing, it seems like it anyways." Serena said, still looking up at the second floor above them. She looked at Ash, now getting onto a picnic table. "What are you doing?"

"Come on, we can get up there from here." He jumped, hanging onto the rail on the second floor. He pulled himself up and looked back down to Serena. "Here, take my hand."

She got up on the picnic table carefully, and jumped towards the railing. She grabbed his hand and put her other hand on the railing. He pulled her up easily, and put her down onto the second floor. "Thanks.. We could of just taken the stairs you know."

"This is more fun!" Ash said, then started to run in the direction of Pikachu, who he saw turn a corner up ahead, going into one of the hallways. Serena followed, sticking close to his side. They turned the same corner as Pikachu, and slowed down. They looked around them, seeing tons of shops, stores, and food markets.

"Woah.." Ash said, having his mouth slightly open.

"Ash! Look at these cute clothes!" Serena said, pointing at one of the mannequins in the store. It was wearing small green shorts, and a yellow shirt with flowers on it. Under the shirt were two black straps that went over the shoulders. The mannequins also had a red hat on, that had weird puffy things on top, and a pokeball symbol on it. "Should I get these? It would be nice for a change of style."

"Yeah go for it! I think they would look amazing on you! Maybe I should change my look too... I usually do that every region." Ash said, looking around at the other stores. He looked back at the clothes Serena was looking at. He saw Pikachu, standing next to it. He dropped Serena's hat out of his mouth, and pointed towards the mannequin, showing Ash it. "Oh, Pikachu! There are you! Were you trying to make us follow you?"

Pikachu nodded. Serena and Ash ran inside. Pikachu jumped onto Ash's shoulder. "Pika! Pika Pika Pika!"

"You really want Serena to get those clothes, huh?" Ash said, scratching Pikachu under the neck.

"Chaaaaaa..."

"Well I guess that is a yes!" Serena said, going over to the mannequin.

"Excuse me miss, do you need help finding anything?" A reddish-purple haired lady asked, looking at Serena.

"Yeah, is there any more of these clothes?" Serena pointed at the outfit she wanted. "And hey, aren't you the same person from the line?"

"Oh... um yes! I have multiple jobs, and I just got off that one! If you want those clothes you will have to come to the back, you too sir!" She looked at Ash.

"Okay, but may I ask why? I'm not planning to buy anything here." Ash said, putting an eyebrow up.

"Umm, maybe she wants you to judge how she looks?" The worker scrambled, seeming like she was trying to find a good reason.

"It would be nice to tell me how I look, Ash.." Serena said, also having her eyebrow up.

"Well, okay. I'm sure you would look great no matter what."

"Oh thank you Ash." Serena blushed. Ash smiled back.

"Now follow me, and get inside this room." She lead the way and opened the door, into a dressing room. "Sorry! No Pokemon allowed inside here. If you want there is a Pokemon resting area, I will bring him to it."

"Oh, okay. Is that okay, Pikachu...?" Ash looked up at Pikachu on his shoulder

"Pika?" Pikachu responded.

"Well I guess that's a yes! Now go in there, a few of my friends will be there to help you guys change." The employee quickly grabbed Pikachu and pushed them inside the dressing room, closing it behind them.

"That was weird, I hope Pikachu will have fun with the other Pokemon." Ash said, looking back at the closed door, worried.

"I'm sure he will be fine. If he acts anything like you, he will get along with all of the other Pokemon." Serena said, putting her hand on his shoulder.

"I hope, that employee was acting weird. Whatever, let's go get those new clothes for you!" Ash pumped his fist.

"Hehe.. Yeah let's go." Serena giggled.

"Well, hello! Are these the clothes you were looking for." A blue haired man was holding up the same pair of clothes that Serena saw on the mannequin.

"Yes! Thank you very much sir!" Serena said, jumping forward and grabbing the clothes. She put them up to her and faced Ash. "How do they look just like this?

"They look awesome! You will look great!" Ash replied, looking up and down at the clothes. Serena smiled in return, closing her eyes and tilted her head.

"Well i'm glad you guys like them so much! You can pay over here, next to my fellow employee." The blue haired man said, pointing towards the cash register. There was a Meowth on the other side of the counter, most likely standing on a stole to act taller.

"Yes! Over here!" The Meowth said, waving his hands.

"That Meowth can talk! Wow, that's amazing!" Serena said, walking over towards the Meowth.

"Yep, i'm one in a billion!" The Meowth said, putting his thumb up to his chest, standing proud.

"Actually we know another talking Meowth, but he is evil." Ash replied, slightly mad, most likely thinking about all the times the evil Meowth stole Pikachu.

"Oh that is horrible!" The Meowth slightly grinned. "Well I guess you guys want to buy those clothes, am I correct?"

"Yes." Serena put the clothes on the counter, and handed him some Pokemoney.

He handed the clothes back to her. "Thank you for shopping here! Now have fun trying to catch Pikachu!"

"Huh?" Serena and Ash looked at each other, then started to fall. "HEY!" Both of them shot down through a escape shoot. They were sliding down the huge pipe, and came out at the bottom floor of the cruise ship. The both hit their butts on the floor and felt the pressure go up their spines.

"Ow... " Ash said, rubbing his butt to get rid of the pain. He then put his arm under Serena's shoulder and helped her up. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah i'm fine.. We have to get Pikachu! They said 'have fun trying to catch him,' i'm guessing they stole him!" Serena said, still holding her new clothes. She pointed towards the nearest staircase.

"Yep! I bet you are right, let's go get Pikachu!" They started running up the stairs, getting to the deck. They stopped to take a breath, and looked out towards the ocean. "Oh, I guess we started to leave the dock..."

"Yeah, that's what it seems like." Serena replied, also looking out towards the ocean. "That was a lot of stairs! Was that around 15 floors? There's also around 5 more above us. "

"Yeah, I think you are right...." Ash replied. They then ran up to the floor above them, where the stores were.

They ran into the store they were first in, looking around trying to find them. Ash saw the Meowth close the door behind him. He went into a room that was behind one of the mannequins. "Come on, I see them, let's go!" Ash said, and started to run towards the door.

I hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter! That was pretty fun writing actually, I thought I was going to get bored. Tell me if you want Serena to wear the Alola girl outfit! If not I will make it a custom made outfit of mine, which is probably gonna resemble the alola girl outfit in some ways. Well, I finished this way earlier than I thought I was going to. So I will most likely have another chapter out on June 28th or June 29th. Bye :)
