Ed's POV
I sighed as Winry and Al ran off. I turned back to Roy. "Sorry about that." I apologized. He looked at me confused. "For what?" He replied. I sighed again. "Those two, one is my brother and the other one is my childhood friend. They were I'm guessing spying on us." I explained. Roy nodded. "It's fine Ed. It's understandable that they may be just worried. Especially if one of them is your brother," he said softly. I smiled and nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Al has that habit." I muttered. Soon enough, our food came around and we ate, occasionally talking with one another. "Oh! I almost forgot to say, your music is amazing Ed." Roy complimented. I nearly choked on my food. I coughed a bit before responding. "Thanks." I said. Roy again looked at me confused.
Roy's POV
I looked at Ed in complete confusion. 'Does Ed not like being complimented about his music?' I thought. "Ed? What's wrong? Did I say something bad?" I asked him. A smile appeared on his lips as he shook his head. "No. It's not that. Just, I'm not used to people saying that type of stuff." He replied. "Oh." I said softly. We continued to eat in silence, again rarely talking to one another.

After we were done eating, we both stood up. "I'll pay." We both said. "No no. I'll pay." We both said again. "No Ed. I'll pay. It's fine." I said. He shook his head. "No. I will." He replied. "Ed." I said. He sighed. "Fine." He grumbled. I laughed softly and took out the money, and left it on the table. "Let's go." I said to him. He nodded. "Okay." Ed replied. "So, what do you wanna do now?" I asked. Ed shrugged. "I don't know." He said bluntly. I sighed. "That's helpful..." I muttered. As we were walking, we walked past a music shop. Ed suddenly gasped. "Roy? Could we please make a stop in here?" He pleaded. His face was so cute, I couldn't take it. I chuckled lightly and Ruffles his hair. "It's not like we're on a time limit Ed. Let's head inside." I explained, stepping inside.
Ed's POV
As we walked inside, I saw a women at the front desk. She had chestnut hair, in a pony tail, hanging over her shoulder. She also was wearing a purple dress and brown flats. A sound of discomfort came out of my mouth as my eyes widened a bit. "Ed?" Roy asked softly. "Mom....?" I muttered. "Ed? Are you alright?" He asked. The women turned around and looked in my direction. It wasn't my mother. It was a total stranger. A saddened expression washed over my face as I looked down. "Ed? Are you alright?" Roy repeated. "Huh?" I asked, looking at him. He sighed. "I thought you were crying for a moment." He explained. "Oh." Was all I said. We walked around the store and I looked at everything in awe. Roy either smiled, chuckled or laughed when I completely gawked at the instruments, cd's and music records. "Hey look Ed. They have a piano here." Roy pointed out. I nodded and walked towards it. It was a thick shiny black. "It's beautiful." I gasped. Roy nodded. They same women from the front desk walked over to us. "You have good taste in pianos sir." She said. I nodded. "When I was little my mother owned a music store. We had a bunch of pianos in there." I explained, a small smile appearing on my face.
Roy's POV
'So that's why Ed thought he saw his mom in here.' I thought. "Ah. So you grew up in a musical atmosphere." She said. Ed nodded again. "Yup." He replied. Whenever Ed talked music or his brother, or his interests, his eyes seemed to sparkle or gleam with happiness. So far, in my short time of knowing Ed, that's what I liked most about him. Ed tapped me on the shoulder. "Okay. My search in here is done now." He declared. I nodded. "Okay. Let's go then." I suggested. He nodded and did a small wave to the nice lady from the front desk. She smiled as we walked out. "That was fun." Ed said. I nodded in agreement. "Well, I guess I better get home." He added. "Yeah. Me to." I replied. "Today was great. See you later!" Ed called as he ran off. I smiled and nodded. "Okay!" I said. And with that, I walked home.
Ed's POV
As I walked home, I shoved my hands into my pockets. Now that my fun was over, I had to deal with Al and Winry. I groaned in annoyance and let out a loud sigh as I walked home.
