Roy's POV
I got out of my car and walked up the stairs of hopefully Edward's house. I spent half of my lunch break trying to figure out if I had the correct adress. I couldn't help but feel bad about going through Ed's file. He was a victim of of an accident. I was curious about that, but I didn't want to pry into Ed's business. But, the officer that had all the information for the case retired, and I doubt he would give me details on it. So I decided to just go to the address. I knocked on the door a couple times. Eventually the door opened and a blond haired boy, looking very much like Ed appeared at the door. "Oh, hi. You must be Roy Mustang. Come on in, Brother's sleeping right now. I'll wake him if you want me to." He explained, letting me step inside the house and closed the door. "No. It's fine uh..." I trailed off, not knowing the boy's name. "Alphonse. Alphonse Elric. I'm Ed's younger brother." He explained. I nodded. "Okay. As long as its okay with you, I'd rather let Ed sleep for a bit." I suggested. "Of course. And besides, I'd like to get to know Brother's probable boyfriend. Make sure you won't hurt him." Al stated. I sensed an evil aura eliminating off him. I sweat dropped a bit and nodded again. "Al! Don't go scaring the poor guy! I'm sure Ed already does that just on his own." a girl exclaimed. She walked up to me and smiled. "Names Winry Rockbell. Nice to meet you." She said, holding her hand out for a hand shake. I graciously accepted it. Winry sure had a deathly grip. "By the way Mr. Mustang, I'm Ed's mechanic for his auto mail. And I'm quite handy with a wrench." She explained. I nodded. And here I was thinking Winry would be the normal one. As we were talking a little, (I don't know if you would call two random people threatening you talking but whatever) there was a loud crash from upstairs. "What was that?" I asked. "Brother!" Al exclaimed. All three of us, ran towards what I'm guessing was Ed's room. When we got to his room, Ed was lying on the ground, groaning in pain. "Brother! What happened?!" Al exclaimed. Ed sat up slowly. "I'm fine Al. Just got up to fast and put my auto mail on the wrong way and fell." Ed explained. "Ed, you cut your cheek." I spoke up. "Oh, hey Roy. Didn't see you there." He replied. I sighed and walked towards him. "You can be such an idiot sometimes Ed." I mumbled. Ed laughed lightly. "I get that a lot." I smiled softly and reached into my pocket. I noticed Ed's eyes flare up in a small panic, but relaxed when I pulled out a bandage. "Geez. Didn't know you carried around band aids." He teased. I chuckled. "Usually I don't.  One of my co-workers forced me to carry them around. Now show me your check so I can put the band aid on." I explained. Ed nodded and turned his head so I could see the cut. I gently placed the bandage on and smiled. "All done." I stated. Ed nodded. "Could you gimme a hand please? I need to fix my auto mail." He said. I held out my hand and Ed grabbed it, pulling himself up. I helped him onto the bed. "Thanks. Now could you three get out of my room?" He asked. We nodded and left the room. "Thank you. For helping my Brother of course." Al said. "It was no problem." I replied. Al stopped me. "I mean it. Because of you, Brother has been smiling more often than at just his performances. More often than just playing his music. He finally has someone other than Winry and I who care about him." Alphonse explained. "What Al says is true. Ed has been putting up these walls. So that no one knows how he's truly feeling. Isolating himself.....since it's close to that time of the year again. But, we see that your helping him in some way. And that's why we're thanking you." Winry added. Before I could reply, Ed came out of his room. "Alright. I'm ready." He said.
Ed's POV
I walked towards Roy. "Alright. I'm ready." I said. Roy nodded. "It was nice meeting both of you. I hope we get a chance to talk with one another again." Roy said. "Come on." I said, heading towards the door. Roy chuckled and headed after me. We walked outside and Roy lead me towards his car. We got inside and I got buckled in. "I'm gonna take a nap." I said, before falling asleep.

When I felt someone shaking me, I yelped and sat up quickly. "Ed? You okay?" Roy asked. I sighed and calmed down. "I'm okay." I replied. I stepped out of his car and Roy led me inside his house. "Go ahead and make yourself comfortable. I'll make dinner okay?" He asked. I nodded. "Okay." And I sat down on the couch. I laid down and kinda stared at my auto mail arm for a while. This auto mail only brought back the memory....that memory of being trapped. And watching as people I care about either died or got hurt badly. "Okay Ed. I finished." Roy called. I nodded and we ate together happily.

After we were done eating, we walked back to the couch and sat down. "Your brother and mechanic are.....interesting people." Roy said. I laughed softly. "For the most part." I replied. "Their so interesting that they even said something interesting about you." He added. I couldn't help but tense up. "O-Oh really...? Wha-What was it that the-they said?" I asked shakily, not trusting my voice. "Ah. Glad you asked. They said that you've been isolating yourself. Oh. And something else about putting up these walls." Roy explained. I didn't respond. I didn't like this Roy. He seemed cold hearted when he acted like this. "You know Ed. I am curious about your auto mail. Why do you have it? What happened to you that forced you to be equipped with auto mail?" He asked. "What makes me even more curious is you have a file. An accident of some sort happened to you and your Brother. What was it? The only cop with the information is retired now, so I can't ask him." Roy explained. I stood up and walked to the door. "I think I better get home now. Or else my family will worry about me. Bastard cop." I mumbled, loud enough for Roy to hear me and walked out.
Roy's POV
As Ed walked out, guilt washed over me. I noticed as he was walking out, he had his head hung low and he seemed bothered. "Dammit. I wasn't gonna do it this way but I ended up doing it this way anyways." I mumbled.

Sorry this chapter took so long guys! My mom turned off my data so I had NO wifi and I was trying to write this last night, and I ended up falling asleep XD. Well, here is the long waited chapter lol. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING GUYS
