{Chekov}

 So @BookThiefSelection requested this, and for some reason I can't mention them. If anyone knows how to fix that problem please message me! Anyways, enjoy!

You were lost. Utterly and completely lost. The only reason that you were aboard the Enterprise was because you were the captain's niece, one that knew nothing about starships. Wandering the ship, you hoped that you would be able to find a corridor that at least looked familiar.

"Excuse me miss? Are you lost?"

You jumped at the heavily accented voice, certain that there had been no one near you. Turning around, you were greeted by someone who looked your age.

"Uh, yeah, I'm not really familiar with this ship," You replied, studying the boy. He had a mop of blond curls on his head, and large eyes that just screamed "I'm an innocent child!". And despite his uniform, you had a hard time believing he actually served on this ship.

"I can help you!" He suggested eagerly, "I am Pavel Andreievich Chekov. Where do you need to go?"

You grinned at his enthusiastic introduction, "Alright Pavel Andreievich Chekov. All I know is that I live in one of the guest quarters, so lead the way!"

You followed Chekov, slowly but surely beginning to recognize your surroundings. Along the way, you had learned that he was eighteen, one year older than you. He had joined the crew when he was seventeen, and was currently serving as an Ensign. Compared to him, you felt pretty damn incompetent. Of course, he had assured you that you were not in fact incompetent, but very competent.

Before you knew it, you had reached your quarters. You couldn't help but feel disappointment. Chekov was interesting to talk to, and you found yourself wanting more of his company. Before you could say anything, he spoke up.

"Listen, (y/n), I was wondering if you would like to meet me in my quarters after my shift? It is alright if you don't want to."

"Yeah! Sure!" You grinned. It seemed like he wanted more of your company too, "It's a date!"

Chekov frowned in confusion, "A date? I did not mean that it would be a date, but if that is what you want then I guess it is a date."

Yeah, a date was definitely what you wanted.

 AKA Chekov not understanding common colloquialisms and being confused by them. Also, I have badminton camp this week so I might not upload too much but I shall try!
