Meeting Lewis
"So this is your friend's house?"
"Yyyuuuupppp!" Killer strode down through the path in the front garden, a wide smile on his face.
Dream stayed still for a moment, craning his head back slightly to take in the house. It was certainly a lot newer than Killer's house, the walls having been plastered and painted grey to hide the brickwork beneath. The windows had black lining and ledges, and the roof's tiles were also much darker than the average house. Even the door was a dark plastic instead of the light wood that Killer's had. The curtains were closed and blocking of any sign of the house within. The garden was surprisingly clean, a few purple flowers growing along the neatly lain gravel path Killer had walked down. The lawn was even neatly clipped, looking freshly mown.
Killer raised an 'eyebrow', having noticed Dream's staring. "Yeah, yeah. I know. It's a lot cleaner than my house, I get it."
"It's also a lot darker..." Dream muttered, slowly stepping down the path and waiting by Killer's side.
"Oh yeah, that's because of his fascination in the Gods. Believe it or not, he favours all the dark Gods that could exist like uh...the one of death? The one of destruction? The one of Negativity?" He looked down at his fingers, counting them slowly as he thought.
"Reaper, Error...and my brother..." He looked to the side, his grip on the crutch tightening.
"Hey, relax. He's a really cheerful guy actually. He's not going to cast you out or anything because you're all positive and shit." He flashed a quick smile at the smaller, earning an unimpressed glance before the door suddenly swung inwards.
Dream jolted, immediately looking at the slightly small man stood in front of them.
He was just taller than Dream, wearing baggy grey sweatpants and a white slightly-crumpled shirt, a black unzipped hoodie over the top. He wore a pair of black scuffed trainers, the laces white and unmarked. His hair was surprising, died a bright red. The roots were dark black though, showing that it wasn't his natural hair colour. He blinked rapidly, looking at the two of them before breaking out into a wide smile.
"Killer!" He called happily, patting the skeleton on the back. "I haven't seen you in ages, buddy!"
The two hugged briefly, laughing at each other and shoving arms slightly. "Your hair's gonna need re-dying again mate, it's not looking too fresh." Killer joked, ruffling his spiky hair.
"Shut it Killer I had this done only two months ago!" He said back, shaking his head and huffing. He crossed his arms over his chest before suddenly spinning on his heels to look at Dream, his eyes narrowed. "So you're Killer's new...friend?"
"Yes Lewis. He's my friend." Killer said, pushing him gently. "So Shut it with that attitude."
Lewis snorted before looking Dream up and down, his expression curious. He let out a soft hum, his eyes scanning his small body before resting on the gold circlet on his cracked skull. Blinking rapidly, he suddenly gasped, whipping around to face Killer. "Killer! Do you know who he looks like?!" He hissed, excitement laced heavily in his voice.
"Yes Lewis. That's why I've brought him here." Killer said, smirking and rolling his eyes. "Now let's go inside, c'mon. I'm getting cold out here."
Lewis blinked rapidly, continuing to stare at Dream. "So... if I heard Killer correctly, and I'm sure I did...you're a God?"
Dream winced before nodding slowly and shooting a glare at Killer, who shrugged apologetically in response. "Yes. I am."
"OHMYGODTHERESNOWAYJXHXHSUSHDHSY-–" Lewis let out an impressively high pitched squeal, his words coming out in a jumbled mess like Killer's had when he talked down the phone.
"Alright Lewis it's been two minutes and you've already scared the life out of him." Killer muttered, grabbing onto Dream's wrist before tugging him inside of the house.
The smaller let out a yelp, almost dropping his crutch as he stumbled after the taller. "H-Hey Killer slow down!"
He ignored him, pulling him through the darkly painted main hallway and into what he could only assume was the living room.
It was a bit brighter than he'd expressed, having been painted a soft beige colour. The walls were covered in pictures and posters of spiritual depictions, lots of them showing what mortals believed gods looked like. There was one with a beam of bright colourful light next to a darker orb with cracks surrounding it. Dream assumed it was meant to represent the gods of creation and destruction. The sofas were black leather, a few plump cushions strewn across them. A large thin screen TV was stood in the far corner of the room, it's screen paused on an episode of some anime.
Killer blinked, flopping down onto one of the sofas and pulling Dream down next to him. "Woah, what henati are you wanting now Lewis?"
"ITS NOT HENTAI!" Lewis screeched, scrambling in and snatching the TV remote out of his hands. "There's nothing sexual about it!!"
Killer glanced at the TV again, where it was currently displaying an image of a girl with long pink hair stabbing a sword into someone's side. "Maybe this one isn't, but everything else you watch is probably porn related.
"Oh Shut up Killer you probably watch stuff like uh...I don't know, um, fricking dkhxyxyshsusus-–"
"Oh yes I watch that all the time, yum yum."
Both Lewis and Dream looked at him with such a confused expression that he burst out laughing. "Okay! Okay I'm kidding! Sorry geez."
Dream stared at the two in confusion for a moment before coughing awkwardly. "Anyway...?"
"Oh right!" Lewis sprang up, turning the TV off on one swift motion before standing rigid. "Tell me once more why you thought I could help?"
Killer glanced at Dream, smirking lazily. "Well, I thought that since you're such a god geek and all that, maybe you'd know a way to ping him back up to his realm with a ritual or some voodoo shit."
Lewis frowned, scratching the back of his neck for a moment before inhaling sharply and looking at Dream. "Well...I have one idea..."
"Go on then. I'm listening."
As soon as those words were spoke, Lewis suddenly booked it out of the living room and ran off through another door into a side room, the sound of boxes and stuff being knocked over or pushed out of the way.
"What the hell?" Killer stood up, Dream forcing himself up by his side as well. "This guy either just had the most amazing idea ever, or he's having some weird spasm attack."
The smaller frowned softly, limping over to the door he'd ran through. "Lewis...?" Peaking through, he wasn't really sure what to think of the sight before him.
Lewis was in some sort of library, all the walls being covered by crowded and overflowing bookshelves. The red haired male was half way through shoving a sofa to the very corner of the room, everything else having already been pushed aside. Even the furry rug that had been strewn on the floor previously had been rolled up and dumped on top of some tables. Only a desk lamp was on, and the weak glow it gave of really gave the room an eerie impression.
Killer slid by Dream's side just as Lewis started looking through his books, fumbling through the endless piles to find what he was looking for. "Uh...you mind explaining what you're doing right now Lewis?"
"I had an idea! I'm not sure if it'll work, but it's my best bet!" He grunted, jumping up to grab a book from one of the shelves.
"Aaaand why does that idea involve moving every single bit of furniture you have into the corner of this room?"
"I was thinking." Lewis said, his eyes fixated down on the book in his hands as he skimmed through the pages. "You probably got banished here, right Dream?"
"...Yes." Dream nodded stiffly, not quite sure where he was going with this.
"So they wouldn't just banish you down here if there's some simple way out, would they? I'm thinking that if we attempt to summon a different god, they can take you back with them."
"Summon a different God? Are you crazy?"
"78% of me, yes." He hummed, backing up into the middle of the room and dropping the book onto the floor. "Holy heck though I'm so excited like hecking hell the literal God of positivity is standing right in my library room right now like heck, frick."
Killer glanced at Dream before shrugging and walking over to Lewis. "So, who we gonna summon?"
"I'm not sure. I think Dream should decide on that one." They both immediately looked up at Dream, expectant expressions on their faces. They almost had a dog-like look to them.
"Uh...I, Uh...Maybe Ink? I'm friends with him..."
"Okay, I don't know who Ink is, so stick with God names." Lewis rolled his eyes, sitting down cross legged in front of the book. "I'm not best friends with all of them, despite how much I want to be."
"O-Oh um, he's the God of creation." Dream looked away in embarrassment, clenching his good hand into a fist.
"God of creativity?" Lewis flicked through the pages before a depiction came up. "Ink. Alright. Let's try that first..."

Longest chapter so far?
Possibly
:3
Dkhxyjeudushs I have a feeling next chapter will be short though
And nahzhsb what do you guys think of Lewis? He's not really an OC I've made tabs on, just a random plot filler character really. He won't be in all of the book though, don't worry
