Simon, Jace, Alec, isabelle, and Clary were running from six huge demons. They were huge demons. The Shadowhunters were all scratched up and had spots of blood all over them, Simon was clutching his right shoulder tight, Alec had a huge cut of his right leg, so he was limping.

They ran fast through every street they saw, trying as hard as they could to lose the demons. " HURRY GUYS FASTER!!!" Yelled Jace.

They ran even faster, ignoring the aching pain that throbbed through their bodies. " THIS WAY, HURRY!!" Yelled Jace.

He turned right and ran down into a dark alley, it was night time so the alley was darker then usual. Jace quickly grabed the others and they flattened themselves against the brick wall. The demons ran past the alley and were gone. 

Isabelle went to Simon and tried to heal his arm, but both Simon and Alec refused help for now. " Why not? Huh, why do you not want us to heal you?" Says Isabelle.

" Because, those demons could show up any minute and we would have no time to run." says Alec.

" He's right Izzy." Says Simon.

Isabelle nodded, her face was plain, but her eyes showed her concern for her brother and boyfriend. " Don't worry Iz,  were trained Shadowhunters. Were trained for this." Says Alec.

Isabelle nodded. While they talked they didn't realize that they were being watched.

" Atleast let me set your arm." Says Isabelle.

" Izzy, I'll be fine ok. You don't have to worry about me right now." Says Simon.

" He's right. You should be worrying about us." Says a voice on top of the building next to them. They looked up and saw a guy with bright glowing blue eyes crouched on the edge of the building, he was staring at the with a creepy smile, his head was tilted to the right. Next to him were about nine other guys with glowing blue eyes.

Isabelle groaned. " Great, more of Evan's old body guards." Says Isabelle. When they had killed Evan his men with the glowing blue eyes escaped and hid. They show up everywhere. The five Shadowhunters can't let them touch them. If they do it not only hurts them and makes them see their worst fears and horrific images. Kinda like the spell Evan had put on that sword, thats why Jace was scared when they took him out of the prison then. 

They were also very strong, and insanely fast. They jumped down and landed in front of them in a crouch, and before the Shadowhunters could do anything they attacked. They moved with lightning speed and grabed Simon by his hurt arm causing him to scream, they lifted him up and spun, sending him flying into the others. They hit the ground hard, but were right back on their feet.

They pounced again and the alley turned into chaos, people screaming, swords flying. Isabelle swung her whip and latched it around a guys neck and yanked him back, as he triped and fell backwards she shoved her blade through his back, killing him.

" GOOD JOB ISABELLE!!" Yelled Jace, as he stabbed one and killed it. Then they heard a loud bloodcurdling scream, then another. They looked and saw Simon on his back clutching his hurt arm right. His face was cringed up in agony. Then Isabelle spotted Alec. He was being surrounded by six of them. He had no weapon, it was behind the guys who were inching closer to him. One guy threw a knife at his head. " WOAH!!! " yelled Alec as he dodged it, it just barely missed the top of his head.

" ALEC!!" Yelled Jace. He ran for Alec and stabbed another as he did so. He ran for them, but before he could get to them, they pounced. Alec managed to slip by them and take off running, he spotted his sword and ran for it, he dodged two that had jumped for him, he then slid on the ground and grabed his sword as he did so. He stood and continued to run with four right behind him. He ran part way up the wall and fliped, landing in his feet and taking off running stabing two of them and turning to block a blow from another and stabsd it, then turned just as the last one grabed his arm. Pure agony tore through his body as horrific images and his worst fears flash before his eyes. He screamed in both fear and agony.

" ALEC!!!!" Yelled Jace. He ran as fast as he could towards his Parabatai. He got behind the guy and stabbed him in the chest just as Alec's knees gave out and he fell to his side, gasping for air from panicked breathing, his eyes were wide with pain. 

Jace looked to see the last ones had been killed by Isabelle and Clary. Jace sighed in relief. Then Magnus walked into the alley and spotted them. He had a flashlight. " There you guys are. I saw six demons run by and thought you guys were coming, but you didn't. I managed to kill three of them with my magic, but the others are still out there." Says Magnus. Then he saw the dead guys on the ground. " Oh Evan's men?"

Jace nodded as he helped Alec up. Magnus walked over to Simon and started to heal his shoulder while Alec drew a healing rune on his hurt leg. The other drew healing runes on themselves as well. Once they were healed they all stated for the exit. " We will catch and kill those last three demons soon but for now,let's go home and rest." Says Jace.

They all nodded in agreement, and together they left for the Institute for sleep they truly needed.
