Sessions || Chapter 8

Allison walks down the narrow hallway she was instructed to go. She stops for a moment, to look back at the door she came from.

This is crazy, She thought to herself.

How do she not know all this is just some big joke played on her? Some of the things she's been put through today do not even seem possible? All she wants is for all her problems to go away, so can just go home. She desperately misses her father who must be worried sick about her. She kept walking until she stopped in the middle of the hallway. The reason of why she stopped was because there were halls leading in different directions. Left, right, and straight ahead.

Which way am I suppose to take? She didn't even give me directions, now that I remember it. She thought absently to herself, as she looked down the halls. The left hall looked promising, yet the right hall do as well. But what if they both lead her to danger? She stopped her seconds thoughts and made a decision. She proceeded by taking the hall straight ahead. The hall she now walked down looked a bit strange from the halls Wanda brought her through.

Maybe this is the right path hopefully. But soon like a wave, a bunch of people suddenly came rushing through the halls. She felt as if she was being carried away in the process. There was just too many people, and plus it was crowded. Once she was able to keep up, she glanced around and noticed it was kids. Lots of them. They were practically kids of different ages as she can see. Some older then her, and some younger. She then noticed some were wearing the same uniform she was wearing, while some were wearing totally different ones.

Interesting, she thought to herself. As she was caught up into her thoughts, she felt herself get knocked to the ground. She hit her elbow in the process which made her grunt in pain.

"Watch were your going, you timing lunatic!" She looked to were the voice came from and her eyes fell upon a girl around her age.

She quickly began to apologize, but the girl cut her off. "Oh save it. You be too busy with time travel to function properly." And with that she walked off.

"Sorry?" She mumbled to know one but herself.

She watched as the girl disappeared into the crowd, and just laid on the ground looking dazed. Just as she was about to get up, she saw as a hand was stuck out to her.

"Allow me to help." A boy's voice said.

She looked up to be met with blue eye's, which belonged to a black haired boy. He was stunning, yet breath taking at once. She felt herself staring and looked away.

"Um, I saw what happened. And I thought you might need some help. Don't worry about people like that, they can be arrogant when they want too." The boy spoke with a small smile. He still had his hand out stretched for her to take it.

She slowly took his hand, as he helped her off the ground.

"I'm Winston by the way." The boy said introducing himself.

"I'm Allison," She greeted back with a smile of her own.

"Nice to meet you. Mind if I call you Alice?" He asked sudden.

She shook her head. "Oh not at all. If it makes it easier to remember."

"Great, so I'm guessing you must be new here since I've never seen you here before?" Winston said with question.

"Oh yes, I suppose you can say that, but I'm confused. I don't know why I'm here or where I'm suppose to go." She sighed. After what all that has happend today, she would really like a nap.

"Do you have a PC? That has information to where you should be headed." Winston said.

At that second she remembered about the Pass card Wanda told her about. She felt around in her pocket until she found it, and pulled it out.

"Here." She handed him the card.

He took it and and looked at it, briefly. "Follow me." He said as he began waking off.

She quickly began following after him, in hopes she wouldn't lose him. He stopped near a weird looking computer on the wall. He pressed the card to the screen, as if the computer was reading it. He quickly drew the card back as information started filling the screen.

"Alright...so you're a traveler? Impressive." Winston spoke as he read her info from the computer.

She leaned over his shoulder, as she saw her picture and other info about her. She was amazed at how much info that card had from her within a day.

"Well?" She asked him.

"Oh it says your suppose to be at course training. That's where I'm headed. If you have trouble locating your other classes let me know. I'll help." Winston said with a slight bit of determination in his voice.

He exit out of the computer and handed Alice back her card.

"Now follow me." He said signaling for her to follow.

She followed after him as he lead the way. She was nervous knowing that it wouldn't be too long before she headed to 'classes' since she's guessing that's what everyone mean by sessions. Together they walked to the end of the hall until he stopped at a door on the left hand side.

"We are here," Winston said with a huge grin. He turned back to look at her."It might be a bit freaky to you, but trust me its amazing."

He slides his card on the right hand side of the door. The door immediately opens as he steps into the door way. He turns back to look at her.

"Well are you coming?" He ask.

She nods slowly. "Um...yeah just a bit nervous."

"Don't be. Just come on in." He smiled gently to her as he step aside for her to enter.

She nodded and hesitantly walked inside. Her eyes immediately got big as, she looked at the size of the room. The walls were white as snow as so was the entire room. What fascinated her the most, was the big virtual computer that stood in the middle of the room. It was a neon green with symbols on it she couldn't even read.

"This is so..." She began but was cut off.

"Fascinating huh?" He finished for her.

She nodded speechless. Before she could say anything else she glanced at the row of kids in front of her. She felt small just by them staring at her. The room within seconds broke out into whispers as each of the kids began speaking to one another. She just knew they had to be talking about her of course. She stood by Winston, feeling shy all of a sudden.

"Hey...its okay. Its been awhile since we've had a new recruit. They'll get over the sock soon enough." Winston whispered to her.

She stayed silent. As she looked around more, she noticed the room got quite as a lady with a black suit on came rushing in. The lady looked middle age as her hair was neatly settled in a bun. She stopped in the middle of the class as she looked at the kids in front of her.

"I hope you didn't forget you're assignments, which was addressed for today's date." The lady spoke with such properness as she looked at the children with a stern look. She looked like the mean type of teacher with an attitude like hers.

Before she could say anything more, she looked over at Alice as she finally noticed her presence.

"And who might you be?" The lady asked with a crease of her brow.

Alice was about to speak, until Winston cut in for her.

"This is a new recruit. She came today." He explained.

She looked at him with an unreadable look before motioning for him to sit. She walked over to her with a blank look on her face, while she looked her from head to toe. Alice was beginning to get nervous as the lady stared at her sternly.

"I believe you must be Allison."
