Alice slowly stepped inside the room and took a look around. She thought everything in the room would be white, but it wasn't. Instead it was like any other ordinary room with random colors, but the walls were white.

"I'll just leave you two alone now. Nhung will show you around." She heard Mr. Lent said behind her and then heard the door slide close. She felt a presence behind and gently turned around to face Nhung who had an exciting smile on her face.

"I'm so happy we're room mates. Oh you're just gonna love it here!" Nhung said excitingly as she braced her in a tight hug.

Alice awkwardly hugged her back, unsure what to do next. Nhung must of felt her discomfort and quickly pulled back.

"Sorry. It's just I've never had a room mate before. This is all new for me." She explained with a slight smile.

Alice smiled back. "Its okay. This is all new for me too." And it really was.

"Come on, I'll show you you're bed!" Nhung said as she dragged her over to the right hand side of the room.

They both stopped in the small space with a neatly made bed. There was a drawer and a night stand next to it. There was also a table with a chair not to far from the bed. Everything looked normal besides the colorful thing that kept moving above the wall.

"This is where you'll be sleeping from now on. I know everything looks dull looking, but once you decorate a bit it will be fine. Do you have any questions?" She asked.

Alice nodded. "Yeah...what's the weird thing in the center of the wall?"

Nhung looked over to where she pointed. "Oh that? That's the sleep-timer. It's programmed to tell us time and many more things. Isn't that right C-34G?"

"Yes it is Nhung. I'm programed to such simple things as wake you up and set date reminders. Talking about date reminders, you have a big test coming up next week exactly, on the 23rd of August, 3002." The colorful thing above the wall that shaped like a light replied.

Alice just started up at it in surprise. "It can talk?"

"Of course, why wouldn't it? Sleep-timer you will also assist Allison for now on too okay?" She said as she talked to it.

"Yes Nhung. Allison I am a timer that sets time and dates. If you need any assistance please reply now." The sleep-timer said to her as it started glowing a blue light.

"No, no I'm fine." She said still in shock.

"Alright, I'm here til then." The timer said as it's light went faint.

Alice yawned as she felt her eyes get a bit heavy. Nhung must have noticed this and walked away somewhere. She came back within minutes with a gown in her hand.

"Here...change into this." She said handing it to her.

She slowly took the white gown and looked around for somewhere to change.

"The bathroom is over there." Nhung pointed to a door beside her bed.

Alice walked over to it and entered, shutting the door behind her. When she was in the bathroom she was too busy changing, then to notice the futuristic likeness inside. When she was done changing, she undid her hair out of the tight bun and let her hair cascade down her shoulders. Before she exited out the bathroom, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror.

She had dark bags under her eyes. She looked exhausted. It was the first time she looked into a mirror since she's been here. She quickly looked away and exited the bathroom. She walked over to her drawer and placed her suit inside. She finally crawled under the warm covers of her bed. Before she could even say or do anything more, she fell asleep.

I open my eyes to be found in a strange dark alley. I was running. Running in the woods. It was so dark. My mind was like changing up different realitys...of memories. I saw myself in the alley again, and there was an old man. And then back to the woods.

I was then running in the woods again, but it was light in the sky. I saw Jessica running ahead, but couldn't quite catch up to her. Everything started to flash at me all at once. The alley, the woods, Jessica, the time machine.

It was all becoming so clear now. All of this is like a plan. As if I was really meant to fall in this path...

Everything stopped, leaving a mirror for me to stare back at my reflection. I saw myself in my suit. It was like showing me who I really am. My destiny. I reached my hand out to touch the mirror....

Alice thrashed wildly in the bed, before immediately waking up with sweat rolling down the side of her head. She was breathing heavy from the events that went on in her dream. She was about to freak out even more when she felt a hand touch her shoulder. She looked up and saw it was just Nhung. She started to calm down a bit.

"I heard you moving around, are you okay?" Nhung asked worridly.

Alice slokwy sat up in the bed. "Yeah...just had a weird dream."

"What about?" She asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I think it was a dream of my memories. I think I remember everything now. And...and why I'm here." She smiled a bit.

Alice thought she was going crazy. But now she's starting to understand a bit more.
