Dumpsters and secret entrances ||Chapter 5
The silence between them was tense, as they both stared closely at each other. Neither one looked away, but stayed were they where in the now awkward silence that fell upon them. The women stood up to her full height after a few moments to get a better look at the girl.
"Do you have a PC?" The women's voice spoke, as it broke through the silence.
Allison looked at her in surprise, for her to even speak, but it soon turned to confusion from her question. She wasn't sure if she should speak to the lady. She didn't even know what she was capable of. And what in the world is a PC? She just remained silent for her answer. The women must of known of her uneasiness, and looked at her more seriously.
"I should not have to repeat my order. Do you have a PC or not?" Her voice was beginning to rise, and she just knew that wasn't a good sign.
She swallowed a lump in her throat, before she spoke.
"I-I...don't know w-what that is." She stammered.
She didn't even know this lady, and already she seemed mean. The women then took off her glasses, and stared at her appearance more. Her light blue eyes showed nothing, but stone.
"Where did you come from?" She asked quickly before taking a quick glance around.
"I'm not sure where I came from." She answered back immediately. She was too transfixed on the lady, to look around.
Her heart felt as if it could burst out of her chest right about now. The way the lady gazed at her, made her even more uneasy. She already hate the fact that she can't remember how she got here. The strange lady then did something unexpected. She grabbed her by the wrist and with one swift movement, pulled her onto her feet. She was about to snatch away, until the lady pulled her against her.
"You're coming with me." She began, and yanked her forward in a certain direction.
It took her a moment to realize what the lady was doing, and she skidded her feet against the ground while she thrashed wildly.
"Let go of me!" She screeched. She tried with all her might to get out her grasp.
The lady stayed silent, as she pulled her along. Her expression was hard with no emotion whatsoever. She was definitely surprised at how strong this lady was. She couldn't even get out of her hold, no matter how hard she kicked or thrashed. The more she tried yanking away, the tighter her grip on her tighten. After a few tries, she gave up feeling hopeless. The lady pulled her down the wide curvy street in such a fast pace. She watched as some people gazed in there direction.
She wanted to get a better look of this breath taking environment, but she was too busy trying to keep from stumbling over. The lady lead her into another alley; different from the one she awoken in. The lady came to a sudden stop in the middle of the alley, as she looked around herself, as if to make sure no one was watching. Once she checked the area once more, she pulled her towards a dumpster. She wanted to scream, but she was afraid of what this lady could possibly do. The lady let go one of her hands, so she could have a free hand.
She watched intensely, as the lady gently placed her palm against the side surface of the dumpster. She watched with curiosity as to wonder what this lady was trying to do? Just then, she saw a light glow shine around her palm. It outlined her shape of her palm and started to shine brighter, if possible. And in complete amazement, the back side of the dumpster opened up to reveal some type of entrance. The only thing she could do was stare with her mouth open in awe.
"Whoa..." She gasped surprised.
"Get in." The lady said in a hurried tone.
She shook her head vigorously, and backed into the lady's chest. That was just the wrong step for her to take.
"I believe you have no choice."
"I don't want to." She said backing further into her. As she predict it was gonna happen, the lady gave her one big shove, which sent her flying into the opening. To her surprise, she felt herself fall on something slide-like. It slide her through whatever she was going. It didn't help that it was dark. She literally couldn't see a thing.
"Ahhh...!" She screamed. For it being pitch black, she was definitely scared.
The way she flew down the opening made her suddenly start to fill sick to her stomach. She hugged her sides in a desperate manner, already dreading the bottom as she pictures it. All she want is for this crazy ride to end, before she pukes. Literally puke! Without warning, she slid off the slide and fell butt first on a flat surface. Pain soon shot up from her rare.
"Ow...ow...ow!" She hissed, while gripping her butt.
It felt like agony, while she moaned in pain. She stops her cries when she noticed a light up ahead. The light might have been faint, but she still could see it. She slowly got to her feet, ignoring the cramping sensation from her bottom rare. She turned back around squinting her eyes. She was hoping to see the slide-like thing she was on, but seen nothing, only complete darkness.
She turned back around and slowly took hesitate steps towards the light. It began glowing brighter the closer she gotten. She stopped in front of what the light lead her to. It was like a hallway to an entrance. The way the light blue neon lights formed around the entrance in circles, was a sight to see. She then continued her walking as more neon lights came into her view. She didn't know where she was, yet she was curious to where this could lead her.
Her feet was already beginning to hurt, as she walked continuously in this almost never ending hallway. Just as she was about to give up, she came to a stop in front of a door. It was a big metal door with a handle to her surprise. She reached her hand out to grab the knob but a thought came to mind.
What could be on the other side? She thought to herself suddenly. She know that she probably shouldn't, but her curiosity got the best of her. She grab the knob of the door and gave it a slight twist. She was happy to know that the door was already unlocked, as if someone was expecting her. With a deep breathe she pushed the door open wildly. The only noises made were the creaking of the door opening. She pictured the other side to be possibly dark, but she was proven wrong. To her view, she was meant with a scene that took her way back.
She slowly walked into the door way to be met with a balcony overhead. She was really taken back at what she was seeing. It couldn't be. She saw people, but not just people. Kids. Every where. They all were wearing the same thing; a type of uniform. Boys and girls we're carrying books, while some were carrying a type of bag behind there backs. They roamed through the halls, as if hurrying to go somewhere. She stood over the balcony, as she watched everything from above.
Some were chatting among themselves, while others had these weird gadgets she's guessing to talk through. She saw a kid with one of those book bag things on his back. She watched as he pressed a button, and to her surprise it flew him straight into the air. Everything below her was strange. Not just strange, but literally unbelievable. Undescribable. She then felt a presence beside her. She turned to see the lady next to her.
"Interesting view huh?" The lady spoke while looking over the balcony as well.
"Where am I?" She whispered.
She felt a hand on her shoulder, and turned to look at the lady once more. She bend down to her height and gave a small smile.
"Welcome to Axton Allison."
