I don't want to finish my assignment

Hey! I saw there were heaps of votes on this, so I wrote some more randomness for it :) enjoy!

“Where did Spork go?” Asked the teacher, as she marked the roll.

“You’re a divination teacher.” Grace said wisely. “Shouldn’t you know?”

“Don’t get smart with me, kid.” The teacher said, her eyes narrowing. “I’ve seen things you couldn’t even imagine.”

“Obviously,” Grace sighed. “You were in The Great War, weren’t you?”

“Yes I was – Grace.” She added, checking the roll. “I saw my friends die before me, and that is a fact that I will never forget.”

“My dad died in that war, and he is still around.” James said.

“You’re Harry Potter’s son, are you?” The teacher said, eyeing him carefully.

“Unfortunately.”

“Yes, it is unfortunate, isn’t it?” She snarled.

The lesson ended, and it was mostly just a bitter feud between the teacher and James.

“I don’t know why she hates me so much,” James frowned as they sat down for lunch.

Although the group – James, Jessica, Allie, Grace and Kate – were from different houses, they all sat together. That was Professor McGonagall’s first new rule when she became the Headmistress; she wanted to fight against house superiority. So now Hufflepuffs like Allie could sit with Gryffindors like James and Grace, and Ravenclaws like Kate and Jessica.

“Well, think of it logically James,” Allie said. “You’re an asshole.”

“You’re meant to be a nice person!” James said in mock outrage. “You’re meant to be nice!”

“I’m meant to be loyal!” Allie smirked. “It doesn’t say shit about being polite.”

Another boy, a Hufflepuff called Chris, came and sat down with them.

“Who isn’t polite?” he asked.

“Me,” Allie said.

“Oh, I know.”

“You rude-ass bitch.”

“Chris, this is Kate and Jessica.” Grace introduced. “And you guys, that’s Chris.”

“Holla.” The trio said together.

They ate in silence for a few minutes, before a couple of first years came over to them.

“Can we sit with you guys?” The boy asked.

“Sure,” Jessica smiled, budging over to make room for the pair.

“Ew, go away Al,” James groaned.

“Don’t be a douchebag, James.” Jessica reprimanded him.

“He’s my brother!”

“I don’t care! Don’t be mean to people!”

“God damnit.” James muttered, but he secretly liked Jessica even more now that he knew she was really lovely to everyone.

“What’s your name, Kids?” Kate asked.

“I’m Rose.”

“I’m Albus.”

“That’s like the ugliest name I ever did hear.”

“I know, my full name is Albus Severus. Like, it’s horrid.”

“Severus!”Allie said, smacking her hand down on the table. “Severus Snape!”

“Yeah, I’m named after him. A bit weird really, he was an arse to dad for years...”

“No! No, not that! But you guys have seen loads of pictures of him in history textbooks, haven’t you?” Allie continued, and there was a murmur of accent. “That teacher we just had looks creepily like him, doesn’t she?!”

“Yeah,” James said, nodding. “She does.”

“Right down to the greasy hair.” Grace said.

“Exactly!” Allie squealed. “I’d bet that she is Snape’s kid. Who grew up bitter, because her dad died for your dad’s cause.” She pointed to the Potters. “Alas, that is why she was a complete cow to James in class.”

“That is so far-fetched that my brain hurts.” Kate said.

“Shut the fuck up!” Allie said. “I’m right.”

“Well,” Chris smiled. “Regardless of anything, it looks like we’re going to have to investigate.”

“It looks like I’m going to have to get out Dad’s old cloak again.” James grinned excitedly.
