It was already New Years Eve , and Harry is invited to a party at his friend's house .

It was around noon , Harry made him and Louis some lunch . He called Louis down to eat , Louis walked out of the guest room , all dressed up .

"Where are you going ?" Harry asked as Louis sat next to the table . "A hotel ." Louis said simply .

"No , don't go . Stay here ." Harry asked , his hand holding onto Louis' smaller one .

"Harry , I've been here for more than a week , it's too much ." Louis sighed , "Really , i'll be good at a hotel . Thank you for letting me stay , I'm grateful . But it's time for me to go ."

"But Louis ..." Harry pouted , "Please ? Please stay ?"

Louis bit his lower lip , "Harry ..."

Harry got down on his knees in front of Louis and hugged his legs , head on his lap , "I'm not letting go until you say you're staying ."

Louis blushed deeply , he bit his lip and tried thinking of how to get out of the situation .

"Pleaseee ... Stay . I want you to staaay ..." Harry started singing , Louis couldn't help but giggle at his silliness .

"If you go , who's going to watch movies with me ? And eat with me ? And give me cuddles ?" Harry asked , his grip tightening around Louis' legs .

"You have Milo and Bear ." Louis giggled , holding himself back from playing with Harry's hair .

"It's not the same !" Harry let go of Louis and sat up , "Please stay ."

"Harry -" "Please ?"

"Just tonight ." Louis agreed , Harry tried to protest but Louis stopped him , "I don't want to leave either , but I can't let myself stay any longer ."

"Why not ?" Harry asked , becoming curious .

Louis was about to answer , but the oven went off . Harry sighed and got up to get their lunch .

They ate in silence , Harry once in a while glancing at Louis , who was busy eating . He didn't want Louis to leave , he likes him already , even though he's known him for less than two weeks .

"There's a party tonight , at my friend's house . Do you want to come with me ?" Harry asked , Louis cleaned around his mouth and shook his head , "No , thank you ."

"Are you sure ?" Harry asked , Louis nodded . "I'm not a fan of big crowds , you know that . I don't drink or smoke , I don't dance and I can't make friends ."

Harry frowned at the last one , "What do you mean , you can't make friends ?"

"It's not important ." Louis got op with his empty plate to the kitchen sink , Harry immediately following , "No , tell me . I can help ."

"No one can help , Harry ." Louis sighed sadly .

Harry grabbed Louis' arm and pulled him to the living room , sitting him on the couch . He sat next to him , "Tell me everything ."

"What ?"

"Tell me everything . Just everything ." Harry repeated .

Louis knew if he tells Harry about his life , he's going to break down once again in front of him . "No , Harry -"

"Tell me , so I can help you . Please ."

Louis looked away from him and took a deep breath .

"I've never had the best life . My parents wanted girls , not a boy . So I wasn't really the favourite . I was having a hard time making friends in school , I just didn't know how to get someone to be my friend . So most of the time I sat alone . I developed anxiety , the school found out before my parents did . They tried treating me differently , but it didn't last long . I've never had a real friend , I only talk to people when I really need to . I was laughed at , made fun of , bullied . My parents never seemed to notice the bruises I had when I got home from school . Most of the bullying was for being gay . I tried committing suicide once , but I didn't take enough pills , it just caused me terrible stomach pains and I threw it all up . When I told my parents I'm gay and they threw me out , it was the last straw . I planned on staying outside and dying of hypothermia , but then you came and changed everything ."

Louis wiped his tears , he didn't dare lift his head up to look at Harry .

Harry engulfed him and pressed Louis' face to his chest , he didn't say anything and just held him .

"I'll help you , I promise ." He whispered . "You're not leaving , I want you to stay here . Please ."

Harry left for the party , Louis stayed home alone . He was debating with himself whether he should leave now without Harry trying to make him stay , or he should stay the night and leave tomorrow morning .

He went to get all his clothes packed , and once again left Harry a note , thanking him and telling him what hotel he's staying at .

He left the house and locked the door , hiding the spare key .

It was eleven thirty , Harry quickly made his way out of his Liam's house and to his car , to get back home to Louis . He got into his car and drove back home , praying Louis is still there .

He pulled into the driveway and turned the car off , running to the front door , he tried opening it only to find it locked . He reached for the hidden spare key and unlocked the door , "Louis ?"

There was no answer , and Harry panicked a little . "Lou , are you home ?" He checked the living room and the kitchen , the bathroom and the guest bedroom . He found a note on the nightstand , he sighed and ran a hand through his hair .

Without thinking much he ran out of the house , o-locked the door behind him , got into his car and drove to the hotel .

He parked the car outside , it was almost midnight . He ran inside and to the reception , "Hello , I'm looking for my friend , Louis Tomlinson . What's his room number ?" 

"Second floor ,  room 219 on the right corridor ." The receptionist said .

"Thank you ." Harry breathed out and ran to the stairs , having too much rush to take the lift .

He reached the second floor and ran down the right corridor , almost missing the room . He stood in front of the door , taking a deep breath to calm himself down . He knocked on the door and stepped back so he won't startle Louis .

The door opened , revealing Louis in sweatpants and a sweater , holding the sweater paws in his fingers .

"Harry ? I didn't think you'd actually come ." Louis' eyes widened , he blushed .

The TV was on , they heard the countdown . Harry bit his lip and looked at Louis , he opend the door wider and stepped inside grabbing Louis by the waist , he pressed their lips together while calls of "Happy New Year !" were heard .

Louis gasped , he was definitely not ready for this . Harry didn't let go , he brought Louis closer and and moved his lips on Louis' . Louis slowly kissed him back , hands shyly going to rest on Harry's shoulders .

They pulled back , Louis stared at Harry , blushing deeply .

"Happy new year ." Harry smiled at him .

"Happy new year ." Louis said back shyly , looking away .

Harry chuckled softly , "You're cute ." He pecked his cheek . Louis bit his lower lip , "I didn't expect you to - to kiss me ... It was my first kiss ."

"I'm glad to be your first ." Harry grinned , "And I know i've only known you for two weeks , but I do really like you ."

"Are you sure ?" Louis asked , "You're not drunk , are you ?"

"No , I'm not ." Harry laughed , "I'm sober , I didn't drink at the party ."

"O-oh ." Louis looked away , still blushing .

Harry kissed his forehead , "Let me take you on a date tomorrow , yeah ?"

"A d-date ? A real date ?"

"Yeah , a real date . But now we'd better go to sleep ." Harry went to lock the door , he took his coat off and put it on the chair in the corner .

"Sleep ? T-together ?" Louis blushed even deeper . "Yeah , together ." Harry smiled at him as he took off his shoes , "Come on , bug ." He opened the three top buttons of his button-up shirt and pulled Louis to bed with him .

He turned the lights off and tucked them both into bed , turning the TV off but leaving the bed lamp on .

Louis buried himself under the covers , still blushy and shy around Harry . Harry laughed softly , "Come closer , give me a cuddle ." He grabbed him and pulled him into his chest . Louis tucked his face into Harry's chest , arms cautiously wrapping around Harry .

"Good night , Lou ." Harry kissed his head and closed his eyes .

"Good night , Harry ." Louis said back quietly .
