Pearl's POV

"I can't rule perfectly without Gem, she is The Missing Piece of the puzzle..."

My eyes widened. I think I might have just found FWhip's missing sister. But if she's okay, why didn't she just go back to her empire? Unless-

"Pearl? You okay? You seemed shocked." FWhip exclaimed, "Oh no, its fine. I-I was just shocked that you actually t-told me more about h-her!" I lied, I just hope FWhip believes it.

FWhip seemed to believe it and hummed, I need to go back to my empire and think about this. I felt something vibrating, I looked down at my belt and realized it was my communicator.

A/N: In case you're wondering, in my AU the communcators have different servers/channels meaning you can pick a server/channel and communicate with the person in that server/channel. Basically sort of like a group chat.

I unlatched the communicator off my belt and stared at the message, it was from my maid Elise.

<Elise> Empress Pearl, sorry to message you but we have a problem here at the empire. The corruption here is getting worse.

I turned off my communicator and latched it back on my belt, I sigh. "Sorry FWhip but, I have a problem at my empire." "It's fine, just take care of the problem and keep us updated on the corruption." He said leading me out of the hall.

"I will." I assured, "Bye Pearl." We said waving to me, "See ya FWhip!" I yelled shooting into the sky. I flew towards my base as quickly as I could, once I made it back I instantly flew down and landed. I saw corruption everywhere.

I look to my right to see my maid Elise running to me. "Empress Pearl! You're here, we need to do something about the corruption." She said, I looked around trying to find ideas on what to do. "Just break it and replace them for now, if it gets any worse I have a plan." I instructed, she nodded and ran off to some villagers.

If the corruption gets any worse, I'm gonna have to get some Amethyst from Gem. They're the only thing I know that can fend off the corruption for a while. I shot back into the sky and flew to Gem's empire.

Once arriving to her empire, I found her building a cute fountain. I slowly landed right beside her, she stopped building as she has noticed me.

"Oh hey Pearl! What are you doing here?" She asks, "Well, I was hoping if you could give me some Amethyst? The corruption in my empire is getting worse and the only way to stop it is through your Amethyst." I explained.

She seemed to sadden by my words but nodded. "Of course! Wait here." She said before running off to her house. A few minuted later she came back with Amethyst in her hand. She handed it to me and said, "Okay, half a stack should be enough to cover your whole empire." I smiled, "Thanks Gem."

I decided to maybe tell her about FWhip, who knows? She might be his sister. "Hey Gem, I have something to discuss to you about. Is it okay if we go somewhere more private?" I ask. She tilted her head but nodded slowly. "Sure, we can discuss this in my wizard tower. Its all done but the interior needs to be finished." She said scratching her head. "Thats perfect." I said as Gem lead me to her wizard tower.

We shot into the sky and landed on the balcony of the wizard tower. She led me inside to her living room and we sat down. "So, what do you wanna discuss about?" She asks, "Well..." I was tempted not to ask her but I had to, my curiosity is killing me.

"I was wondering if you knew FWhip." I stated, I saw her eyes widened but she tried to play it off cool. She started to look around the room trying to look at anything except me but I could easily tell that she knew him.

"You know him don't you?" I said, Gem stayed silent. "I saw the picture Gem, its way too much of a coincidence to be fake. I know you're the Gem that went missing, I know you're the Gem that FWhip loved so much."

Gem sighed, "I guess you found out." I stared at her, "Why Gem? You went missing and never came back." "It's because I ran away." She admitted.

Gem's POV

I sighed, "I ran away to learn magic and become a wizard, I heard stories and legends saying that the magic lies here where I am. The Grimlands just weren't for me, I hated it there. I was meant to be here, this is my home. I hate to leave FWhip by himself but I knew this was the right choice, the past wizards of the Crystal Cliffs chose me to be their successor for a reason. They knew the Grimlands wasn't my true home, they knew if I left and trained to be a wizard I could protect him in the future. I left to achieve my dreams, and for the better of this server."

I look up and stare at Pearl, she was staring blankly at the ground. "Pearl? You okay?" I called, she looked up. "Is that all actually true?" She asked, I smiled. "When have I ever lied to you Pearl?"

"Speaking of FWhip, how do you know him?" I ask, she stared back at the ground. Guess she didn't expect me to ask that. She looked back up, "We're allies." She replied. I smiled, "How is he and the Grimlands?" I ask, "Well, he's doing well and he added a bunch of new buildings in the Grimlands." She explained.

"Thats great!" I exclaimed, Pearl gasped. "Okay, I have an idea." She said, I tilt my head. "What is it?" "What if we surprised FWhip? He would be so happy to know you're alive!" My heart sank, he thought I was dead?

"Gem? You okay? You look a bit sad." Pearl called, I shake my head. "Okay anyways, I was thinking we could surprise him by you joining our alliance!" She happily exclaimed, "Cool! What's your alliance called?" I ask.

"The Wither Rose Alliance."
