Adrien and Marinette decide it is time to head back to Sunny, California.  The two pack their things and head to the airport, after a quick good bye to his uncle.  Once they arrive at the airport, Adrien helps Marinette with the bags.  The two head inside hand in hand, get their tickets and sit down side by side.  When it is time to board the plane they are happy to see they get to sit together.  

      Adrien smiles over at Marinette as she sleeps. He wraps arm around her.  He is glad they are not at odd's with one another anymore.  He can hardly wait to see how the others are back home! He has a guess it will great with Marinette by his side.  He still can not, but what think his uncle has something to do with all this.  Just the same he is glad to have her back with him.  He gulps when realizes he does not recall if they agreeded to date again.  He sighs and falls asleep for a bit too.

     The plane arrives later in California at the airport.  Marinette and Adrien, get their carry on's out of the overhead compartment and head out of the plane.  Once inside the American airport, Adrien and Marinette go to to the luggage claim.  They both spot their bags right away.  Adrien hands Marinette's suitcase to her, then grabs his as well.  Marinette tries hard not to laugh as he carries his  bag and hers outside to his car that waits for them in the parking garage.  He loads the items in, then opens her door.  She smiles, slides into the passenger side and says, "Adrien, what are we?"   Adrien looks over at her, "Well, we are best friends, and I know it sounds crazy, but will you be my girl again?"  Marinette smiles, "Yes!"   

     Adrien drives them back with a big cheesy smile on his face.  Soon enough they arrive back at his place. He parks the car, gets out the bags one last time, hands hers to her, and walks her home.  He kisses her on the cheek before he goes! 

     "See you tomorrow, Mari!" Adrien says.  

   "Yes, see you tomorrow, cinnamon roll!"  Marinette says as she heads inside her place with her stuff.  She smiles and sighs as she closes the door and blots the lock in place.

    Adrien walks back to his house, goes inside, shuts and locks the door.  He does not bother to unpack yet.  He just sits on his sofa happy to be back and to have Marinette as his girl again at long last.  He only hopes this time around she is in it for the long run, because he knows he sure is !  He sighs with contentment as he relaxes.

   Marinette relaxes as she reads a book.  She takes a look at the time. She smiles.  She thinks, Well, only 8 more hours til I see Adrien again!  She goes to sleep with that thought on her mind.  

The next day, Marinette wakes up well rested, happy and all prepared to face the day!  She gets up, showers, dries off, changes her clothes, eats breakfast, grabs up her sunglasses, sunscreen, aleo gel (for just in case), her towel, some bottled water, her house key and off she goes to work again.

   When she arrives at the beach, she grins when she seems a familiar shade of blonde hair.  "Hey, Adrien!"  Marinette calls out to him.  "Hey, Mari!"  Adrien says.  He hugs her.  

    Luka and Lila look on in surprise!  They are happy to see Adrienette is back at last!  "Let's  hope it stays that way, right, Lukie?"  Lila says.  "You got that right, Lila!"  Luka says as he wraps his arm around his girlfriend.  He is happy to have a girl of his very own.  He no longer minds that Adrien was the one Marinette chose over him.  He figures, why concern myself with such matters, when I have Lila with me!  

    After work that day,  Luka and Lila hold hands as they walk along the beach.  Adrien holds hands  with Marinette as they do the same.  Both couples enjoy the nice feel of  the sand beneath their toes, the nice fresh beach air, the sunshine's  rays, and the nice blue sky.  Both enjoy the nice day they get to spend together now that all is right.
