Marinette continues to have this far off look in her eyes, ever since her conversation over the phone with Adrien.   Her Aunt  Kara notices this and just smiles.  Marinette is caught up in a daydream.  She does not even notice when her  Uncle Bob returns home from work.  

         In Marinette's daydream, " Mari, you know something?  No what, Adrien?   She blushes.  You are the prettiest girl I have ever seen in my life!  Adrien says.  She blushes even more.  Adrien giggles.  What is so funny, Agreste?  Marinette ask.   Well, it is just you seem to not even notice how pretty you really are young lady!  Oh, so I am not only a pretty girl, but I am also, a lady now?   Marinette teases him.   Why yes!  That is exactly what I mean!  Adrien says. "

         "Hey, Kara dear!  Marinette!  I am home now!"  Uncle Bob calls out when he gets in the door after work.

       "Hey, dear!"    Aunt  Kara says.

     "What is with Marinette?  Why does she appear to be in a daze?"  Uncle Bob ask.

       " Marinette  got a phone call from a friend of hers while you were away!"  Aunt Kara explains.

      "A friend, you say?   Was it a boy  friend?"  Uncle Bob ask.

     "Yes, she told me it was Adrien Agreste, the surfer boy she wrote to us about once before."  Aunt Kara tells him.

     "Well, that explains  a lot!"  Uncle Bob says.  He giggles.

      "Shh, dear!  You do not want to startle her while she in her daydream!"  Aunt Kara says.

       "Bob, you should  have heard how happy she was when he called her earlier!  Why if I did not know any better, she loves him!"  Aunt Kara says.

      "You  really believe our niece is in love with this Agreste boy?"  Uncle Bob says in surprise.

    "Yes, I do!  I saw her blush, when she spoke to him.  She has not stopped blushing since she hung up the phone."  Aunt Kara replies.

     "Wow, our niece is so grown up!  To think, she is in love as well!"  Uncle Bob remarks.

          As Marinette's  Aunt and Uncle talk to each other, her daydream continues.  

   In the rest of  Marinette's  daydream:  

         Adrien stares at her!   She glances back at him.  

 "Come on now, Agreste!  Be serious! " Marinette says.

  " I am serious, Mari!   Oh, yeah!  I bet you do not have a serious bone in your body! " Marinette says. 

 "  I do too, Dupain-Cheng!   Ok, then!  Name one thing, you are serious about boy!  " Marinette remarks, as she smirks at him.

 " I am serious about you, " Adrien says. His voice sounds low, and romantic. 

 "Wh-what?"  Marinette blushes a deeper red than she has in a long time.  

" Mari, I mean it! "   Adrien reaches out and touches her wrist.  She does not try to pull her hand away.  

    "What is the matter?  Do you dislike me?" Adrien says with a voice barely above a whisper.

     "Adrien, I-I..."  Marinette begins.  Adrien leans in and almost kisses her!  

    "Mari, may I k-kiss y-you, my love?"  Adrien whispers.

     "Y-yes!"  Marinette says.

     Adrien grins and slowly kisses her mouth.  He can not believe she did not protest.  He thought for sure she would be against it.  He is still not sure what it all means. He just knows, for now, he shares a romantic moment with the woman he loves!  He feels something warm and smooth touch his lips.  He looks at her in surprise!  His Marinette is kissing him back!  He can not believe it!  He must be dreaming!

     Adrien breaks the kiss.  "Mari, do you love me?"  He whispers.  

  "Adrien, I have to leave here to move somewhere else!"  Marinette says.  Her eyes are full of tears.

     "Wh-what?  Wh-why?   Please, do not leave me!  Do not leave me, Mari!  I  can not lose you!"  Adrien says.

      "I am sorry, Adrien!"  Marinette says.

      "So, this is just goodbye?   Does this mean, the kiss meant nothing to you?"  Adrien stands up.  He is angry now.

      "Adrien, it is not like that, you would not understand!"  Marinette says.

    "What is there to understand?  You plan to leave me!  You hate me!  Just when I thought you were different than the others.  Now, I discover what I fool I was to have ever loved you!"  Adrien says.

    "What?  You love me?"   Marinette says with more tears in her eyes than before.

    "Yes, but it does not matter anyway!  You still plan to leave me!  For that, I could never forgive you!"  Adrien says.  He walks away.  Tears fall down his own cheeks as well.

       "Adrien, please!  Adrien!  Adrien!"  Marinette screams.

    End of daydream...

        In reality, as  Marinette 's daydream comes to a close, she blushes and feels her cheeks get wet.  Her eyes are full of tears!  She is really upset about her daydream.  She thinks, what if I can not keep my promise to Adrien?   Will he be angry?  Will he refuse to speak to me again?   Will he forget about me and fall in love with someone new?  She struggles with what to do.  She is so upset.  She does not even notice her Aunt Kara and Uncle Bob as they talk to one another about their concern for her.

        "Bob, the only concern I have for our niece is that she may break the heart of the one she loves."  Aunt Kara says.

       "What makes you say so, darling?"   Uncle Bob says.

     "Well, she did say she came here to get away from both Luka and Adrien for awhile.  She also said Adrien had acted strangely around her when she left.  Something to do with he gave her the silent treatment for a day after she went out with Luka one evening.  She even told me she never meant to hurt Adrien and was sad to see how upset he was when he found out she was to hang out with Luka!  The next day, he did not say a word to her.  So, you see she might be afraid to express her love for Adrien!  She might feel she is unworthy of his love! "  Aunt Kara says.

      "Oh, I feel sorry for Marinette!   I know  she would never mean to hurt anyone!"  Uncle Bob says.

      "I  must admit  I worry for her!  I worry for her because she is so young to be in love!"  Aunt Kara says.

         Marinette thinks, about Adrien again!  She wonders, is he okay?  What is he up to now?  Why did he say,  "I miss you?"  when I spoke to him earlier.  I mean, I ask him how he is and he only says,  "I miss you."   I do not get why he thought I was Luka's girlfriend.  I am not sure which one to choose.  I mean, on the one hand, Luka is a great guy, but Adrien makes me feel special.  Luka gave me a kiss before I came here, but it felt wrong.  As for Adrien, I wish for his kiss!  

       Marinette's  POV:  I blush when I realize I want Adrien to kiss me!  Mr. Fu is right!  I have it bad for him.  I really do love him!  How can I  refuse Luka and hurt him when he likes me?  How can I refuse Adrien when he makes me feel at home?     Oh, Adrien!  Adrien!    Adrien, do you really love me?   If so, then why do you act as if you do not care?   Wait a minute,  Adrien  was the one to call me and he said,  "I miss you."   Why does the memory of his voice, and these words make me blush?   Could it be Adrien loves me?  How?   How could he when there are many other girls there at the beach with him he could choose from?  I mean why me?
