"Marinette, there is no time like the present to speak to him.  You know to sort things out, Tikki says.

         Marinette scowls at Tikki.  "There is nothing to sort out, Tikki," Marinette says.

Meanwhile, with Adrien and Plagg at Adrien's home...

"Plagg, how do I get Marinette to see that I care about her?" Adrien asks.

"Adrien, I am sure you will figure out something soon," Plagg says.

"Try not to be so hard on yourself,"  Plagg remarks. He thinks, there must be some way for me to fix this.

   Alya's text to Marinette

Nino thinks, Alya I hope you know what you are doing.

I am not speaking to Adrien he hurt me.

I am sure he did not mean it.  It was just a misunderstanding that is all.

Buzz out of it Alya!  I mean it just leave me alone.

"Well, what did she say?" Nino asks.

"Alya, sweetheart!  What is it?" Nino remarks.

"Nino, Marinette is upset with Adrien!  I am not sure what happened, but she said to buzz out of it," Alya replies.

"Oh, dear!  Do not worry Alya!  They probably just had a fight that is all," Nino says.

With Chloe the ship ruiner again...

How dare you text me!  It is all your fault that Marinette will not speak to me!

Why can not you just let me be happy for once?  I only dated you in the past because I knew it would please my father.

The day I dumped you was a relief to me.  It felt like a heavyweight had been lifted off my shoulders.

Do not ever text me again, call me or follow me around!  I  love Marinette!  Got it?

   Adrien blushes when he realizes what he just told  Chole.  Oh, no! 

   Adrien thinks, I hope she does not harass Marinette now.  I do love Marinette!

Please at least think about the movies.  I want to take you there.

 Marinette reads the text messages Adrien sent her.  She thinks, what?  He cares about me.

    Marinette says, "Tikki, what have I done?  I love him!"

"It sounds like he likes you. Come on Marinette, text him back!" Tikki says.

"Well, what are you waiting for?  Text your man!" Tikki teases her.

I can not believe I am doing this, but yes I will give you another chance.

Adri, I will see you soon!  The movies sound great!

Thanks, Marinette!  I will pick you up soon!

 Thirty minutes later, Adrien picks up Marinette and they go to the movies. It is just the two of them.   

"Two tickets to see the Christopher Robin movie please!" Adrien says.

"Here are your tickets sir, hope you and your girlfriend enjoy the movie!" The ticket girl says.

  Adrien does not correct the ticket girl as he thinks hopefully Marinette will be my girlfriend soon.  Marinette thinks, the ticket lady thinks I am dating Adrien if only that were true.

  Once inside the theater, Marinette and Adrien find the area where the movie is to be seen.  Marinette sits beside Adrien.  Adrien enjoys the movie but occasionally glances over at Marinette.

  Marinette places her head on Adrien's shoulder.   He blushes.

    After the movie ends, Adrien says,  "Marinette, I had a great time!  I-I..."

"I had a great time too!  The movie was both cute and funny!" Marinette says.

"Yeah, it was, but not as cute as you!" Adrien says. He leans  in, but before Marinette can say what are you doing, he kisses her.

Marinette closes her eyes and kisses him back. She is not sure what this means for them.

"M-Marinette, I am sorry, I never meant too.  It is  just that I like you!" Adrien says.

"I mean as more than just a friend," Adrien remarks.

"Marinette, will you be my girlfriend?" Adrien asks.

"Yes, I will because I like you too, Adri!" Marinette says.

   Adrien puts an arm around her and says, "Thanks for giving me another chance Marinette!  I mean for giving us another chance!"

"Adrien, I am glad we are together now!" Marinette  exclaims.

"Same here, Mari!  Same here."
