Marinette's POV:

 She was grateful to be alone with Adrien for a change.

  "Adrien, I am glad we are together. It was tiresome being a third wheel to Alya and  Nino."

   "I know what you mean, Marinette, and I agree," Adrien said.

     Marinette laughed when Adrien tickled her. She tickled him. She felt him wrap an arm around him, but she didn't mind. She liked it.

     At some point, Marinette and Adrien finished the hike. Adrien took her out for dinner. After the meal, the waitress tried to give Adrien her number. "No, thanks, I already have a girlfriend," Adrien said as he held Marinette's hand.

     Marinette took her home. At the door, he said, "Marinette, I  love you."  "I love you, too, Adrien," Marinette said.  She kissed him while she stood on her tiptoes.

     Tikki watched and gave a thumbs-up in approval. Plagg did the same.

       Time skip...

Two years later, Adrien was with Marinette on another date.

    He recalled how Nino asked, "So when will you ask her?"

     Adrien held her hand. "Marinette will you marry me?" He looked at her with all the love in the world.

   Marinette told him, "Yes, I will marry you, Adrien!"

   Adrien slipped the ring on her finger.  Then, she and Adrien went to show the ring off to Alyno.

   Alya saw the ring and smirked. "I always thought you two would get engaged before us. Well, done, Agreste!" 

    "Yeah, dude, that is a good rock there man," Nino teased him.

   Marinette blushed at all the attention. Adrien smirked. "She is one special girl, so only the best for my girl!"
