                            The next day, after school,  "Hi, Marinette how are you?"  Adrien asks her.

                          "M-me, y-your good, I uh mean..." Marinette says.

                          "She means she is good too, "Alya explains.

                            "Well, glad to hear it," Adrien remarks.

                            "I must be going, bye guys!" Alya says. She notices neither of them pays attention. She wonders as she leaves, does he like my best friend?

                            "You know you have some cute dimples," Adrien says. He smiles at her too.

                            "Wh-what?"  Marinette asks in surprise. She blushes at the sudden compliment that came from him.

                           "I said that out loud?"  He asks and blushes as well.

                          "Y-Yes, you did A-Adrien!" Marinette answers.

                            "See you later, Mari!" Adrien says, he winks at her, touches her shoulder and leaves.

                            "S-See you!" Marinette mutters. She goes home and thinks he touched my shoulder again.

                          ...Dupain-Cheng bakery and Apartment...

                               Marinette does her homework when she finishes she turns to Tikki and says,  "Adrien, touched my shoulder again, Tikki."

                              "Well, that is good maybe he sees you like everyone else," Tikki remarks and smiles a bit too.

                                  "You mean as plain, boring, and clumsy girl?"  Marinette asks.

                                  "No, I mean as a talented, amazing, kind, and pretty girl, "Tikki answers.

                                 "Tikki, thanks for being my friend,"  Marinette responds.

                                   "Thanks for being my friend too, Marinette," Tikki replies.

                                      Marinette sends her friend back in China a text message and thinks, now I just have to wait to hear back from her.

                                Kelsey, does her homework, then later checks her messages and sees one from Marinette.

                         Marinette sobs and thinks, so long to my first best friend. She thinks, how did I ever end up being friends with her anyway when she is so cruel?

                         Sabine checks on Marinette, sees her tears, and hugs her.  "What is the matter, Marinette?"  Sabine asks.

                         "It is Kelsey, she said we are not friends anymore and blocked my number," Marinette says through her tears.

                           "There, Marinette, it is going to be okay.  You have plenty of new friends, including Alya and Nino, and Adrien,"  She reminds her.

                                Sabine hands her a glass of tea and goes back downstairs.

                  ...Agreste Mansion...

                     Adrien leaves to visit Marinette and tells his father he will be back soon. He gets no answer and heads to the bakery with Plagg inside his pocket.

                        He rings the bell to the bakery unsure what to say when he sees her.

                             ... Dupain-Cheng Bakery  &  Residence...

                           Sabine lets Adrien inside, and smiles.  "Well, go on up, I am sure Marinette will be glad to see you Adrien," She says.

                         "Marinette, you have a visitor,"  Sabine calls out and gets no answer. She returns to the bakery to give them some privacy.

                           Adrien goes up the stairs and hears crying. He knocks on the door to her room, and says, "Marinette it is me, Adrien. Are you all right?"

                               Marinette opens it and Adrien gasps.  "What happened Marinette?" Adrien asks her in concern for his friend.

                               " It is Kelsey, my best friend back in China. She does not want to be friends anymore," Marinette says with even more tears in her eyes.

                                "Marinette, I am so sorry," Adrien says.  He hugs her.

                                  Marinette blushes, and asks, "A-Adrien, what was that f-for?"

                                  "I am your friend, and I thought a hug might cheer you up," Adrien explains.

                                "Do not worry, Marinette, I promise no matter what we will always be friends," He says.

                              "Th-thanks, A-Adrien, that means a lot to me," Marinette says.

                             Adrien and Marinette play video games until Natalie calls and says it is time for him to come home.  He says, "Sorry, I have to go now. See you tomorrow!"

                            "S-see you t-tomorrow, A-Adrien!" Marinette says. She waves to him as he leaves.

                             Adrien walks home and sighs as he thinks, Marinette sure is cute.

                         ...Agreste Mansion...

                            "Plagg, Ladybug is so amazing!" Adrien says.

                              "Yes, so you say!"  Plagg teases him.

                                 "Why did you hug, Marinette?"  Plagg asks.

                                   "You mean you say me hug her?"  Adrien asks.

                                  "Yes, so why did you?" Plagg asks again.

                                   "She is just a friend, but she looked sad so I decided to cheer her up, "  Adrien explains. He thinks, the prettiest girl ever.

                            "Awe, Adrien gave you a hug!  It was so nice of him to come cheer you up," Tikki says.

                             "Wait, you saw him give me the hug?" Marinette asks.

                               "Yes, but I will not tell anyone,"  Tikki tells her.

                              "It looks like you both enjoyed it,"  Tikki remarks.

                                 "Tikki, do not be silly, Adrien does not see as anything, but a friend," Marinette says.

                             "Oh, well, at least he cheered you up," Tikki says.

                               "Yes, he sure did," Marinette says. She daydreams about him and sighs. She wonders, what he thinks about right now.
