                Marinette wonders how she a plain, shy, bakers daughter got chosen as the ladybug.  She also, is glad for her new friends, Alya and Nino, along with most of the other children in her class.

               She thinks, will I ever become more then friends with my crush, Adrien Agreste?  She sighs as she works on her homework, unsure what else to do at the moment.

                       Sabine is downstairs, and has no idea Marinette is Ladybug. She has no reason to believe this since her daughter is new in town, shy, kind, yet clumsy.

              She figures Ladybug is someone else way more cordinated and skillful than her daughter.

                 She is also, notices her daughter appears to have a crush on a boy named Adrien.  Sabine saw the pictures of him on Marinette's wall to her room while Marinette was away at school earlier that day. 

                She is impressed at her teenagers designs so far and thinks they do look rather nice.

               ...Agreste mansion...

            Adrien daydreams about Ladybug and Marinette.   Plagg teases him about not making his mind up between two girls.  He knows the secret identity of Ladybug, but is not allowed to share this since it is a secret.

                 "I am glad Marinette knows I did not put the gum on her desk. She is a kind girl as she is pretty," Adrien says.

                  "I might love Ladybug, but I like Marinette too I mean as a friend," Adrien remarks.

                "Ok, whatever you say, kid,"  Plagg says. He thinks, Adrien is in denial that he likes Marinette as more than a friend.

           ...The Grande Pre Hotel...

               "Daddy, I think I am in love with Adrien," Chloe says.

           "Oh, that is nice sweetie," The mayor Bougerious says. He is not paying attention.  He is busy with his job.

               Chloe walks off in a huff. She goes to her room and pretends to do her homework. She never does it.  Her friend Sabrina does it.

              She talks to herself about how she plans to get Adrien to be her boyfriend.

                ...Dupoint High School...

                The next day, Marinette is late for school as usual.  Adrien catches her as she trips like he did before now.  "Are you okay?"  Adrien asks.

                  "Yes,  your f-fine, I -I mean uh..." Marinette tells him.

                   "She means she is okay, and  it is time for class," Alya explains.

                  Adrien goes to class and wonders why is Marinette so nervous around me?  Does she hate me?

                    Marinette sits beside Alya and daydreams about Adrien the entire time.

                    After school, Alya asks Marinette if she likes anyone.  Marinette tells her about her crush on Adrien Agreste.  Alya smiles.

                  "Do not worry, girl, your secret is safe with me," Alya says.

                   Nino and Adrien overhear the last part of the girls conversation. 

                  "What secret?" Adrien asks.

                  "Yes, tell us,"Nino says.

                  "Sorry, it is between us, girls." Alya replies.

                 "So,you do like her?" Nino asks.

                " What are you talking about man?" Adrien asks.

                 "I am talking about Marinette. She is a bit quiet, yet pretty, so do you like her?"  Nino wants to know.

               "Look, I like Marinette, but as a friend only,"  Adrien says.

               "Well in that case, you would not mind if I went out with her," Nino says.

                 "I g-guess not,"  Adrien says. He agrees to set her up with Nino. He secretly hopes everything goes badly though.

                   Nino tries to ask Marinette out.  Marinette is confused when Adrien ask Marinette to meet them at the zoo and thinks Adrien wants to date her.

                     Marinette meets Nino at the zoo, but ask about Adrien.  Nino admits Adrien is not coming. 

              Marinette seems disappointed and Nino claims he likes Alya.   Marinette tries to set him up with Alya.  Alya is ticked off about this. 
          

                 Suddenly, a Boom is heard!  Next, thing Marinette knows it she has to transform to help rescue people from the villain Animan.

          Ladybug and Chat save the day as usual.  Then, they head their separate ways to destransform.

                Marinette goes home.  "Mom, is not Adrien,dreamy?" She asks.

            "Sweetie, it is okay for you to have a crush when will you tell him though?" Sabine asks.

           "I can not because Adrien is a model and I am just plain, clumsy."  Marinette tells her. She works on her homework as she continues to daydream about Adrien and sighs.

           ...Agreste mansion...

             "Plagg, Ladybug is cool, amazing,talented, and beautiful!  Marinette is amazing! " Adrien says.

             "How do I choose between the love of my life and my fr-friend, Marinette?"  Adrien asks him.

            "I have no idea. I am just into Camembert cheese,"  Plagg tells him.
