"Andrew, whatever is the matter?" Prince Robert asks.

      "Oh, your majesty why should anything be wrong?"  Andrew asks.

      "My friend I can tell by the sound of your voice that something troubles you," Prince Robert replies.

   "Prince Robert, I believe it is a matter that concerns your future that bothers him," The maid Alice says. Then, she gets back to work.

"Brother, I believe she is right,"  Princess Linda says.

   A newcomer arrives to the palace where the prince lives with his family. A knock is heard at the front gate,  "Welcome, Miss?"  The maid Alice says.

"Oh, my name is Katharine,  but you can call me Katie, she tells them.

"All right then, Miss Katie right this way!" The maid says.

"Your highness, I present to you, Miss Katharine!" Alice announces.

"Thank you, Alice, now go wash the windows!" King Fredrick says.

"Yes, your majesty!" Alice says. She gets to work on cleaning the windows next.

"Well, Miss Katharine what brings you to our fine establishment here?" The king asks.

"My dear husband, King Fredrick means we do not often get visitors here,"  Queen Natasha explains.

"Miss Katharine, do you mind if we call you Katie?"  Queen Natasha asks.

"Your majesty that would be just fine,"  Katharine says.

"Oh, and I came here because I heard you were need of a new cook," She remarks.

"Oh, yes indeed!" Queen Natasha remarks.

"You may get started right away!" King Fredrick tells her.

"Just remember three things, one the prince is blind, two he is allergic to strawberries, and three to keep your job breakfast must be ready at 7 am, lunch at noon, and supper at 6 pm every day!"  Queen Natasha and King Fredrick explain together

"Mother, father, may I give the new cook a tour of the kitchen?"  Princess Linda asks.

"Yes, you may!"  They say together.

"This is our daughter, Princess Linda, she will show you around the kitchen,"  Queen Natasha says.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Princess Linda,"  Katharine says.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well, " Princess Linda remarks.

"Come on Katie!"  Princess Linda says and shows her to the kitchen.

  "The queen is nice, but your father the king seems cranky!"  Katie the cook remarks.

"He fired the last cook for less trivial things than this,"  Princess Linda says.

"Thanks for the warning, your highness, I will not let it happen again," Katie says.

Back to Princess Aurora and her father, King James, "Father, I think she is here!" Aurora says.

   "Hi, I am Helen! I applied for the maid service, your majesty!" The maid says.

"Do not just stand there come inside Miss Helen!" King James tells her.

"You heard, father!  Do come in please!" Princess Aurora remarks.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Helen!  I am Princess Aurora, and my father is King James," She says.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Princess Aurora and King James,"  Miss Helen says. She even courtesies afterward.
