One week later, " Hi, Marinette, look everyone knows you have it bad for Adrien,"  Chloe says.

   "Do you think, Adrien notices?"  Marinette asks.

     "I think Adrien has no idea, how you feel,''  Lila says.

      "Marinette, I hear you have a crush on someone," Nino says.

    "Yes, it is so obvious who it is too.  You like Adrien!"  Alix remarks. She laughs.

    "What, Marinette you like my buddy, Adrien?" Nino asks.

     "Yes, but you can not tell him. No matter what you can not say a word,'' Marinette says.

    "Sure, a thing I will not say a word. Not a peep about it to anyone." Nino says.

    "Why do not yo tell Adrien how you feel?" Nathaniel asks.

   "I can not tell him, neither can any of you." Marinette remarks.

    "It is fine, no word will be leaked out by me," Max says.

    Master Fu overhears everything, and thinks, so Marinette does love Adrien, good.

   "Bye, see you later!" Alya says.

    "Bye, Alya! See you tomorrow," Marinette replies. She goes home to do her homework.

    Meanwhile, Adrien works on his homework and sighs.  

"Plagg, is the kwami you love one of a kind?"  Adrien ask.

"Yes, she sure is, kid," Plagg says as he daydreams about Tikki

   "Why does Marinette have to be so amazing?"  Adrien asks.

    "For that matter why does she have to be so pretty?"  Adrien asks.

     Adrien's POV:
    Why did I ever fall in love with Marinette?  She could never love me.

   "Adrien, Marinette is a great girl for you, she is the best!"   Plagg says.

Plagg hears Adrien sighs and thinks, Adrien loves Marinette more than I thought possible. 

"Plagg, I can not stand to see Marinette talk to other guys.  I feel so silly about it all.  I love her and want her to be happy, I just..." Adrien says with a sigh.

   Marinette speaks to Tikki about something that has been on her mind all day.  

"Tikki, why did Adrien stare at me ?"  Marinette asks.

"I do not know, maybe he likes you!" Tikki teases her

"Tikki, how could Adrien have an interest in me?  I mean, I am nervous wreck around him, and I can not even tell him how I feel."  Marinette says.

"Why not, you are a great person?   Besides you are friends with him," Tikki says.

"Tikki thanks for the kind words," Marinette says. She thinks, perhaps he does like me.

   Marinette shakes her head because deep down she still believes Adrien only sees her as a friend.  She has no reason to believe otherwise without how many times he has said so.

    One week later, Marinette arrives late to school as usual. 

Adrien is late as well.  He bumps into her and knocks her down. 
    

"M-Marinette, I-I..." Adrien says. He slowly kisses her lips.

   Marinette thinks, is this a dream. She kisses him back.

      Alya sees them kiss, and says,  "Nino, look over there!"

"Wow, dude you kissed Marinette!" Nino says and walks to class with Alya

Adrien pulls away from Marinette, stands up, blushes, and says, "M-Marinette, I..."

   "A-Adrien, I -I..." Marinette says. She has tears in her eyes. 

      Adrien sees her cry, he thinks what did I do?   He thinks, great now she hates me.  I never should have kissed her.

       Marinette starts to walk away,  "Marinette, wait!" Adrien reaches out and holds onto her arm.

    "A-Adrien, do not. Just let me go!" Marinette says.

    "M-Marinette, why are you crying?" Adrien asks. He thinks I love you!

"Please just go to class," Marinette says. She runs from him, enters the class , and sits at her desk.

      Miss Bustier begins the lesson.  Adrien glances in Marinette's direction and can not understand what went wrong. He did not think the kiss could have made her this sad. 

    After school, Adrien says," Look, Marinette I can explain,"  He blushes.

     "Bye, See you later, Adrien!" Marinette says she runs away.

       "Adrien I saw Marinette run away in a hurry. She seemed upset, what happened?" Chloe asks.

        " I kissed her, but I did not think she would react this way," Adrien says. He goes home.

         "Plagg, where are you?  I kissed Marinette, and now she won't speak to me." Adrien says sadly.

        "I saw you kiss her, and I saw her kiss you back,"  Plagg says, he thinks they so love each other.

      "Plagg, hide!"  Adrien says. He goes to see Master Fu.

       "Adrien, or should I say, Chat Noir what brings you here?"  Master Fu asks.

    "It is Marinette, I kissed her because I love her.  Only now she will not speak to me," Adrien says.

     Master Fu, "Hmm, I see."   He does something, then says,  "See if you hate you now."  He thinks she does not. She loves this silly boy.

      Adrien returns home with Marinette on his mind.
