In the previous Chapter, Luka tries to pin Marinette against a wall. She screams, "Let me go!"

    Adrien glares at him and angrily says, "Let her go!"

   Now in the current Chapter, Luka laughs. 

 "You want her then go ahead and take her from me!"  Luka scoffs.

"I mean it, she is not yours!" Adrien says angrily.

  "Fine, have it your way!" Luka retorts. He drops Marinette off a bridge.

    "Ah,"  Marinette screams. She falls in the water below and gasps for air.

     "Marinette, no!" Adrien screams.

"Adrien, help me I do not want to drown," Marinette says just before her eyes close.

"Marinette!  Marinette, no!" Adrien screams as he jumps into the cold water.

  "Do you see her?" Plagg asks.

      Adrien does not answer.  "Well, do you?"  Plagg asks.

"Oh, no!  I found her but..." Adrien says and sounds upset.

"What is it, Adrien?" Plagg asks.

"She is barely breathing," Adrien says. 

    Adrien pulls her out and goes to the shore. He sees her eyes remain shut and sobs. He says, with tears in his eyes, "D-Do not leave me, Mari!  Please, I l-love you!"

   Luka runs off and thinks, now my ex will not cause any trouble anymore. 

   "Marinette, please live for me! M-Marinette, Marinette!" Adrien pleads with her. He is in pain as he broke his shoulder when he dove in after her. 

   Plagg cries because he thinks Marinette is dead. He does know how to break the bad news to Adrien.

      Adrien, carries her despite his hurt shoulder to see Master Fu. He explains everything to him.  "Tell me, it is not too late to save her, I love her!" Adrien says.

     "Adrien, I will see what I can do," Master Fu says.

   Plagg hides behind a door in Master Fu's place.  

    Adrien winces in pain from his hurt shoulder and lays down. He mutters, "Please, M-Marinette do not die, I can not lose you! "

     Master Fu does all he can and soon hears Marinette cough up water.  He smiles as she opens her eyes and says, "Adrien, where is he?"

  "Adrien is right here!" Master Fu says.

"Adrien, what is wrong?" Marinette says. She walks over to him and sees him in pain. 

"He is hurt," Marinette says sadly.

"Do not worry, he only has a  sprained, shoulder, " Master Fu says. He does some chiropractic care on the shoulder, then stops. He pulls off Adrien's wet shirt.

   Marinette blushes and turns around. 

      Master Fu laughs, as he uses a towel to dry off Adrien's chest area, and arms. He wraps the shoulder up in a strong bandage so it will not be injured more as it tries to heal.  Then, he puts a fresh dry shirt on Adrien.

     Adrien stands up and sees Marinette is okay.  He says, "M-Marinette?''

   "Adrien, I am fine, thanks to you and Master Fu, " Marinette says. She hugs him and sobs against his chest.

   Adrien hugs her back, and whispers, "Marinette, I am sorry."

    "Adrien, you have nothing to be sorry for, you saved my life," Marinette says.

   "Master Fu, Luka was the one who did this, he tried to kill her," Adrien says angrily.

      "Hmm, I will make sure he never comes near either of you again, " Master Fu says. He dials a number, hangs up and smiles.

      "The police found him with Kagami on the outskirts of town, it seems the two of them planned to kill her and leave you to blame for her death.  They still have no idea why those two were against her anyway,"  Master Fu explains.

    "The police arrest Luka for the attempt on Marinette's life, and Kagami for standing by as he threw her off the bridge.  She was the accomplice of the crime along with a witness. Since she fails to stop him, she is held liable for the attempt on Marinette's life too. The police say they see no reason to charge Adrien Agreste for anything.  This is due to a witness or two that says they saw Adrien jump off the bridge at the risk of his own life to save you," Master Fu goes on to say.

   "Adrien, I am so cold," Marinette says.

   "Yes, me too, the river is rather cold," Adrien says. 

  Master Fu goes to the back room and comes back with a few towels,  blankets, and some fresh clothes.

 "Here, take off the wet clothes, dry off with these towels and put on the fresh clothes." Master Fu says.

      Marinette grabs a towel, a blanket, and one set of clothes. She goes to the backroom, removes her wet clothes, dries off and changes.

   Adrien removes his wet clothes, dries off, and changes into the fresh clothes while he waits for Marinette.

    Master Fu nods his head in approval when Adrien offers to walk Marinette home.
