Chapter 19 Just Be Yourself

           Adrien's  POV:

Adrien knows it has been weeks since he last spoke to Marinette as Chat Noir.  He has not spoken to her as Adrien since her return.  He is not sure what to say to her yet.

"Plagg, what do I say to her?" Adrien asks.

"Adrien, how should I know?"  Plagg asks.

"Fine, some help you are anyway," Adrien remarks.

Adrien thinks about how to approach Marinette but has not the slightest idea. He shrugs his shoulders as he prepares for the day.  Maybe, somehow he will come up with something amazing.

          Plagg's POV:

Plagg feels sorry for Adrien who is still in shock over the kiss Marinette gave him as Chat.  He must admit it was rather a surprise to him as well. He did not think she was that kind of girl.

He believes Adrien should just be honest with the girl.  Perhaps, then she will come around.

"Just be yourself with her," Plagg remarks.

       Tikki's POV:

"Marinette, you ought to relax," Tikki says.

Tikki can tell something must be on Marinette's mind since her holder does not appear to be herself lately. She wonders what it is that troubles her.  Whatever it is she is the last one to know.

"I mean it Marinette, you can not just face Adrien like this," Tikki states.

Tikki hopes the mention of Adrien might snap her out of it.

      Marinette's POV:

"Adrien, what is he have to do with it?"  Marinette asks.

Tikki rolls her eyes at the knowledge that Marinette is more oblivious than she thought possible.

"Tikki, it Chat Noir, he has not shown up since the kiss I gave him weeks ago," Marinette says.

"Do you have any idea why he is avoiding me?" Marinette asks.

Marinette gets no answer from the kwami other than a simple shrug of the shoulders. She thinks great if Tikki can not help than who can?

             Master Fu's POV:

Master Fu sends a text out to Adrien, then a separate one to Marinette. He hopes this will help fix whatever tension seems to be with them.  It could not hurt to give his help, right?

He wonders now as he sits back and waits if he made the right decision.

                Adrien's POV:

Adrien hears his phone buzz. He looks down to see the text and grins.

"Plagg, Master Fu sent me a text, see?" Adrien remarks as he shows the message to him.

Adrien gets no response from Plagg, so he decides to read the text out loud.

Text from Master Fu to Adrien...

Adrien  Agreste this is your friend the turtle or  Mr.  Wang Cheng.

I    want you to know something of the utmost importance.

It seems that  Marinette Dupain-Cheng has some trouble accepting the truth about love.  I advise you to be patient with her so she might see that your love for her is real.  Mostly, just be yourself, and remember Adrien she needs you more than she realizes.

              Marinette's POV:

Marinette grins when she sees this text:

Marinette Dupain-Cheng this your friend the turtle or Mr. Wang Cheng.

I can not say my real name for fear someone might endanger us all.

It seems that you have some difficulties in life when it comes to love.   My advice is to be yourself, and do not rush into anything. This is say take it slow, and when the time is right you will now.   You need someone special in your life more than you can imagine.

Marinette finishes reading the message and frowns. She wonders what he meant by the last line in the message he just sent her.  She shrugs her shoulders once more as she finishes getting ready for the day.

"Tikki, I think I will go out for a bit," Marinette says. She sighs a sigh of relief as Tikki hides inside her pocket this way it does not matter so much that she decides to leave her purse at home. She does have her cell phone with her as well.

Marinette decides she never can tell when she will need to transform or make a phone call. Let alone both, so wants to prepare for either at the moment.

               Adrien's POV:

"Plagg, I am going out for a walk," Adrien states.

Adrien is glad when Plagg decides to join him.  Sure he knows Plagg is hidden inside the pocket to his shirt. At least he is there in case he needs to transform since he never can be too sure about such things.

He has no idea that Marinette has the same idea.  Had he known he might not have been so quick to leave his place.  He is grateful though that he does not have share space with his father anymore. This way it is easier to keep his secret hidden.  It also makes things less awkward between them because now he rarely has his father breathing down his neck.
