In the previous chapter, Marinette is shocked when she finds out who her kidnapper works for anyway.

   Now, in the current chapter, "Do not worry Marinette, your stay here can be a short one,"  Gabriel says.

   "You just have to corporate and answer a few simple questions for me," He says.

Marinette tries to hide her tears she is so frightened.  She thinks, Adrien is in danger, and I can not move. 

   Kagami is in the next room. She wonders how much the boss will pay her for this job.

      Meanwhile, Tikki thinks, I wonder where the kidnapper took Marinette. She is upset and cries over her worry for Marinette.

    "I suggest you call the police if you have not already, " Doctor Jones says.

    "I already called them and was told they can not do anything for 48 hours,"  Tikki says.

    "How will this help her?"  Adrien asks from his hospital bed.

   "Tikki you need to find whoever took her because she is great trouble," Adrien remarks.

 Back to where the kidnappers keep Marinette, she tries to break free from the ropes. It is so tight, but she continues to struggle to break free though. 

   "Marinette, you will leave whenever I say,"  Gabriel remarks.

    "Nod your head if Adrien is not dead," He demands.

   Marinette does not move her head any.  She thinks, I must protect Adrien.

   Marinette attempts to scream even with the gag in place. She accidentally bites her lip.

"Why do you refuse to corporate?" He says as he walks away.

    "Sir, I did what you asked of me, so when do I get paid?"  Kagami asks.

"Oh, that depends on something else, where is your partner?"  He asks.

   "Where is the young man I hired to help you on this mission?" He asks this time.

"I am right here boss,"  Agent Snagglepuss says

   "What do you need?" He asks.

   "I want you to keep an eye on the prisoner for me,"  Gabriel remarks.

   "Sure thing, boss."  He says.

  He goes to guard Marinette, the private investigator.

  After he leaves the room, Kagami protest," What?  Why does he get to guard the prisoner?"

"Look, you may take your turn to guard her tomorrow," The boss says.

   Gabriel goes back to his room in the secret hideout, Kagami sits down and eats.  Agent Snagglepuss, "Kim's code name," continues to guard the prisoner. 

    Marinette sees the guard, wonders who in the world he is, and why he is here. 

"Boss, what do I do?" Kagami asks.

  "Quit your complaints, " The boss scoffs.

   "I can not believe the prisoner refuses to give us any helpful information." He says.

" If I did not know any better, she knows more than she will let on." The boss remarks.
