Doctor Jones says,  "Good news, the x-rays show your arms, legs, knees, and head are all better now. Also, your shoulder is no longer as bad off as it was before though it might take a while to heal completely. The chest area has some bruising but is otherwise healed from the surgery."

    He tells Adrien, " You may leave the hospital which I might add is a miracle itself since you were almost dead when you were brought in here."
   

  "Here is the number to the place you may go too, it is all be arranged," The doctor says.

   Adrien looks up in surprise as he slowly stands up. He can tell it will be a while before he has his strength back completely, but is glad to get out of here.

    "The police gave me the information to the place to ensure your safety,"  Doctor Jones remarks.

    "Oh, here is your care package," Doctor Jones says as he hands Adrien a small bag.

"I will be off to see other patients now have a good day." He says and leaves the room.

   Adrien leaves the hospital, takes his wallet, and the paper the doctor gave him. He arrives a few moments later at the safe house. He wonders though how safe it is despite the fact the police made the arrangements for him. He smiles as he enters it, closes, and locks the door behind him.  

   He walks over to a sofa and lays down. It sure is nice to be somewhere else other than that rotten hospital he thinks.  He is glad to be healed enough to be here. He opens the small bag the doctor gave him earlier. He sees a bar of soap, a washcloth, a razor, shaving cream, a comb, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrush, a small throw blanket, and a notepad inside it.

   Adrien has no idea how long he will be here, what he will eat or anything. He just knows he must stay put here to remain out of sight of whoever tried to kill him. For all, he knows it could have been more than one person.

  The very thought had crossed his mind a time or two. It is not like he has reason to believe on person gave him so much pain.  Also, he recalls that Kagami was a horrible girlfriend. Thank goodness, he dumped her when he did was the last thought on his mind before he fell asleep.
