Alya's POV

I wait by the school steps for Mari. I can't wait to hear about how the date went. A part of me wishes that she decided to only be friends with Luka but the other part knows Luka would do anything to make her happy. Therefore I came up with the perfect plan and part one is about to begin.

-Flashback-

Adrien- I need to confess to her I can't lose her

Nino- I agree Adrienette must sail

Alya-Look guys as much as I want for Adrienette to sail Mari is my best friend and we have to think of her too.

Adrien- Does that mean that you are not going to help us?

Alya- No it doesn't I am going to help but I just feel like we should give her time to decide for herself I mean we want her to be happy right?

Nino- Then what do we do?

Alya- As much as I want Adrien to confess I am not sure it's the right time. Mari might think he is only doing it to get her away from Luka.

Adrien- What do you mean?

Alya- Well Marinette had a date with Luka tonight and you are still dating Kagami. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that you don't really like Mari but I feel like maybe you can be confusing your feelings and I don't want her getting hurt.

Adrien- Alya I would never intentionally hurt Mari like that

Nino- Alya my bro here is in love there is no doubt about that. I thought you knew that you said you had a plan.

Alya- Of course, I do but before everything is in play I think we should wait a week before Agreste here confesses. This would give them both times to figure things out. If you are still serious about a relationship with Mari then we continue. Also, it gives Mari time to see if she wants to be with Luka or not. Like I said we want her to be happy. Use the week to figure out your feeling for her and Kagami. If you are sure then break up with Kagami you can't confess and have a girlfriend at the same time. That's when part two begins.

-End of Flashback-

I get snapped back into reality by a "Hey Alya". "Hey Mari how was your date?" I ask hopeful. "It was amazing Alya everything was just beautiful" she replies with a huge smile. I fake a smile and think to myself *no no no Adrienette is dying, why did Adrien had to wait this long to realize he was into her* I fake excitement and tell her to give me the deets. Before she speaks she pulls her phone out and shows me a pic. I gasp at the picture of the beautiful picnic under the stars *oh no this is bad so bad Adrienette is soon to be history* I comment on how beautiful it is then ask the question everyone wants to know "So are you two official?" "No not yet." *yes there is still hope* I let out a breath I was holding and luckily she didn't notice and continued to talk.

"He said I should tell Adrien how I feel, he believes that I can help me move on." I give her a look of confusion and she laughs and continues "Well he asked me about him and I told him the truth, that I still love Adrien and he was so supportive he suggested for me to talk to him if he didn't feel the same and I wanted to move on it would help me get closure and allow him to earn my love." *wow Luka is great, this is hard* "I understand" I reply "but you are not over Adrien right?" I quickly added the question. She then shakes her head as a no. "Even after confession, I doubt I will stop loving him that quick, my heart still belongs to him and I'm sure it would stay that way for a while. But at the same time, Luka might help me forget him." She answers whispering towards the end making me almost miss it. I smile and think *step one begins now*.

Marinette's POV

As I am talking to Alya the boys arrive and greet us. Alya and I had stopped talking about the date because I really didn't want Adrien to find out the details, I still love him you know. We all stand there in an awkward silence so I decide to start a conversation. "So Adrien are we still on for later?" I ask him I'm hoping he says yes because I have made up my mind and today is the day when I confess. Don't get me wrong I am super nervous and still not ready to be rejected but I know it has to be done. As I look at him I see him frown.*well, that's not good* I think to myself. "Sorry Marinette but my father scheduled an important last-minute shoot after school and I won't be able to make it." He replies. *I know that his dad doing that is a normal thing but why do I feel like he is lying. I have to look for a way to speak to him now more than ever.*

"I understand so how about we talk during lunch?" I ask trying to get him to agree. The second I ask I see him look towards Nino and Alya *weird right* and then gulp before answering "Ok sounds good." At that moment the bells ring and we walk to class.

Adrien's POV

I agreed to Alya's plan meaning I would have to ignore Marinette as much as possible so I lied about having a photoshoot after school hoping she would just forget about finishing our conversation. "I understand so how about we talk during lunch?" she asked me. *Damn it what do I do know?* I glance at Alya and Nino hoping they give me a sign but all they did is give me a sorry look and nod to do it. I gulp and agree.

I have a feeling this will not turn out like I'm hoping. I begin to get edgy seeing it was close to lunchtime. At least it will get easier the rest of the week since I convinced my father to let me miss school by agreeing to do all the photoshoots necessary to launch his new spring collection. I really don't know why I agreed to give myself away for a week I already know I won't change my mind and give up on my princess.
