Marinette's POV

During class, Alya suggested that we have a sleepover all week. Since finals are next week she figures we can have a study session. I am hoping my parents agree, some girl time is definitely what I need. I will go to the baker during lunch to ask.

Lunch finally arrives so I ask Alya if she will like to join me for lunch at the bakery. Not to mention I might need help convincing my parents. "Sure thing girl let's invite the boys" I nod. She walks over to them "Hey guys Mari and I are going to her bakery for lunch want to join?" she asks "Sorry babe but my bro and I have plans for lunch maybe next time" Nino replies. We tell them it's ok and we head to the bakery.

"Hey maman, hey papa" I greet my parents. My parents come and hug me. "Hey baby how is school?" my mom asks me "school is good. Actually maman I was wondering if I can spend the rest of the week over at Alyas. Finals are next week so we figure we can study together and destress." I laugh covering up the fact that I am nervous. "Sure thing baby you work too hard anyways go and have some fun." She replies and I jump in excitement "thank you maman I will come after school to get my things." I then walk over to Alya who was ears dropping in our conversation "yay girl that's awesome" she jumps before I even say anything.

After lunch, we walk back to school who were waiting in the front for us. They look extremely happy but I shrug it off and walk back to class. The rest of the day is pretty much uneventful so I get lost in thought again remembering that I won't be home for Chats visits and I need to let him know before he gets worried. Since it will also be hard to transform I will need to let him know I will miss patrol this week although I doubt that is a problem since we have become a great team as of late. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am Ladybug at that time and not Marinette.

-Flashback-

"Hey Chat ready for patrol?"

"Always LB"

Just as we both jump off the Eiffel tower screams are heard. "I guess we are right on time," Chat says while jumping towards the Akuma. There stood a man that looks almost exactly like chat himself with the difference that he was dark purple instead of black, and his cat ears were on a hat, he also had whiskers. "Uhhh another kitty; this world is not big enough for two annoying cats," I say while laughing. "Not funny M'Lady, but we both know I'm the only cat that belongs in Paris." Chat then turns towards the akumatized victim that tells him "Hey copycat thanks for being a loyal fan but I am the only cat Paris needs." The villain laughs frighteningly "My name is Shadow Cat (SC) not Copychat and funny you should say that because while you may be the only cat Paris needs I will be the one they get. Now give me your miraculous" SC yells. 

"Come and get them" I reply. Chat and I turn and look at each other and I already know what he is thinking. I take the left side as he takes the right, we both run and then jump trying to strike the shadow cat but he vanishes. "Where did he go?" I ask chat but he is also confused about what just happened. Suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my back and notice he had kicked me from behind making me trip and hit the ground harshly. I try to get back up but the pain slows me down. My head impacted the ground during the fall giving me a deep visible wound and my vision faints slowly. I fight to regain my vision when someone lands on my side. Luckily it was Chat asking me if I was ok. "Yes Chat but where is SC?" I reply trying to figure out what to do. "It's hard to keep track since he sticks to the shadows and tends to disappear quickly but when he kicked you I noticed his cat ears had a purple outline that glows I'm sure that is where the Akuma is hiding." "Ok, Chat I am sick of this, lets end this... Lucky Charm!!!" I yell and a flashlight falls on my hands. I look around trying to figure out how to use the flashlight and get an idea.

 Chat sees the look in my face and without me saying a word heads to distract SC. I go to find some mirrors and place them around the area. Chat brings SC closer to where I am and I turn on the flashlight and point it towards one of the mirrors as it reflects it to the other are around until the light blinds him. Chat swings his baton towards his hat-making it fly towards me. SC manages to hit chat but I run with the hat in my hands as soon as I see Chat get up I throw the hat to him and he uses his cataclysm to destroy it. "Bye-bye little butterfly, Miraculous Ladybug."

"Marinette!" Alya yelled at me taking it out of my thoughts. "Girl let's go class ended like 5 minutes ago." "Sorry Als yeah let's go I have to get my stuff for the week I guess I see you at 6" we walk out of school and I head to the bakery.

Luka's POV

My band has been chosen to do a few presentations for some important people around Paris so I will be gone for the rest of the week, I decide to head to Marinette's bakery to let her know. I think we have made so much progress since we spend time together almost every day. I hate leaving her for a whole week but I know she will understand and be happy for us, she is perfect after all. I walk into the bakery and her parents quickly greet me and permit me to head to her room. 

I thank them and do so; I knock on her trap door and call her name. "Luka hey." She hugs me right after opening the trapdoor. I smile at her and begin to give her the news hoping she doesn't get upset although I know she won't "My band got pick to do a small tour around Paris and perfume for many important people in the music business." She jumps and hugs me super excited for me "that's great Luka I am so proud of you." I smile but it quickly turns into a frown since I have to tell her I'm leaving tonight.

 "Y-yeah thanks but well we are going to be gone for the rest of the week if not a little longer and we will be leaving in a few hours. I know we had a plan this week so I am sorry that I won't be able to follow through." She makes a face but I can't quite read it. "Oh that sucks, but I understand either way I agree to stay at Alya's for the week to do some studying for finals and I really am happy for you this is such an amazing opportunity" she replies. I am not going to lie I am glad she won't be alone this week especially with that blonde model trying around. We then say goodbye and I leave to catch the bus.

Adrien's POV

I can't believe we convinced my father to let me stay with Nino for the week. To be honest I didn't tell him we would be at Alya's house because if knew he would have most likely not let me go and the plan would have failed. It wasn't hard to convince him since apparently Natalie and he were going to Italy for an important meeting and they didn't want me to stay alone so it worked perfectly. After school, I run home and pack my bags along with cheese for Plagg, and head to Alya's house. She said we had to be there earlier since us being there was going to be a surprise for Marinette.

 As I am walking out the mansion Plagg begins to complain "hey lover boy I hope you packed my cheese and can you please feed me I am starving." I toss him a piece of his stinky cheese and roll my eyes. I keep walking so I can get there fast and Plagg speaks again "so going for pigtails right?" I almost didn't understand him due to his mouth being full but I did and answered "Yes Plagg I love her." "I don't understand humans why don't you just stick to loving cheese." "Whatever Plagg just hide we are here," I reply before knocking on her door.

Marinette's POV

After Luka left I quickly wrote a note for Chat Noir letting him know that I would be at Alyas and not to worry so much about me. I am not sure when or how it happened but that dumb Chat stole my heart.*No stop Marinette this can't happen he is a superhero and just a friend*. I transform after and call him to let him know I will not be able to make it to patrol. I then finish packing my bags and turn to look at the time it read 6:02. "Oh no, Tikki I am late again" I groaned and she giggles "relax Mari I am sure Alya is used to it by now" I laugh at her reply. 

I quickly grab my bags and a pack of cookies for Tikki and run out the door while waving goodbye to my parents. As I get to Alyas I see her standing outside her door waiting for me. "Sorry, Als I got caught up," I said panting. "It's ok girl I am used to it lol well come on I got a surprise for you," she tells me while smirking. I glare at her but decide to follow her anyways. As she opens the door I see Nino sitting on the floor and by him none other than Adrien Agreste. "Surprise" they all yell and I start to internally panic but I think Alya noticed since she grabs my arm before I can run away and pushes me inside the room.
