Adrien's  POV:
     One day later, He went to see Marinette.

        "I think I know who poisoned you!"

         "What?"

     He saw Marinette clench her fist in fear.

     He did not mean to upset her.

     "Whoa, Marinette, calm down.  I did not mean to alarm you."

     "Believe me when I say I plan to find out how they did it and soon."

       He stood by her side and held her hand as he spoke. 

      He was furious when he saw him.  He glared at him.

     "Excuse me, just a minute."

   Adrien walked towards the door and exited the room.  He slammed the door.

     "What brings you here?"   He demanded an answer.      

     "I came to see Marinette."

       Adrien felt as if he could vomit hearing those words come from the mouth of his worst enemy.  He was downright livid the man dared to show up after all he had done.

        "I  refuse to let you see her."

         "Ha, as if you can refuse to let me."

       "You murdered her family in cold blood."

            "I came to seek her forgiveness."

      Adrien shouted back, "Forget it.  You tried to kill her."

        "You cannot prove it."

        "Oh, I believe I can."

          Adrien recorded the conversation between him and the creep. He hoped Marinette would be safe.  He shuddered to think about it.

              He heard the man yell at him.  He stood his ground.

          As the perp charged at him, the police arrived and arrested him.

           Adrien stopped the video.

        He went back to the room. He did not say a word about it to Marinette.

        "Marinette, I found the proof we needed.  Let us just say, he will not trouble you ever again."

          "Thanks, Adrien for getting to the bottom of this,"  Marinette spoke up. She kissed his cheek.

         Adrien blushed. It was the first time she responded in such a way.

            He wondered, what brought that on all of a sudden?
