Chapter 1 Must Remain Hidden

        Narrator's  POV:

Adrien looks at the ring once more and thinks, it works well to keep my secret to myself.  He is glad no one knows the truth about him.

He does not understand how it works, but as long as he wears the ring he is safe.  Safe from those who might try to harm him.  He recalls he was told the item is called a  miraculous and everyone like him has one.

Adrien's gray ring glows green whenever he is angry, or blue when he is sad. He has worn it since he was six years old.  He feels like it holds a sentimental value to him now.

Little does he know there is someone out there without a miraculous who is all alone. She is a girl who few ever sees and even if they do it is rare.  She is known as the Snow Fairy.

It is said she is called this because she only comes out around Christmas time.  Is she real?

The lady who gave the miraculous to Adrien is another fairy, but she told him he was sworn to secrecy about her and her gift. He thinks, goodness it sure is hard to keep this up year after year.

Adrien recalls if he removes the ring at any time or were to lose it than his secret shall be known.  He shudders to think about the outcome if his brother ever finds out.

                   Adrien's  POV:

I can not ever let anyone find out I am a fairy.

I must keep my wings hidden inside.

                    Adrien's POV:

Only when I fall in love can I show my wings.

If she rejects me then the consequences will be horrible.

He thinks, who am I kidding?  I fall in love, ha with who?

                        Narrator's  POV:

In the woods, the snow fairy, Marinette looks around her.

She sighs and thinks, will I ever find happiness for myself?

                         Marinette's  POV:

I must remain hidden from humans.

I can not let them ever see me.

                             Marinette's  POV:

If I shall ever see a human they might try to kill me.

She thinks I can show myself to another fairy.

                            Narrator's POV:

Marinette has not seen another fairy in a long time.

She does not think she will ever meet one.

The only ones she knows about are the fairy doctor who happens to be her uncle and her cousin.

It is just as well because if she does she will fall in love.

Marinette does not think she can handle falling in love. She fears rejection so much.
