Chapter 75
Steve's Point of View
When the Ender Dragon flew out of the portal, the entire world rumbled.
Parts of the roof broke, so Notch, Jean, Lourd, Enderspi, Scullscan, and Steve fell into Notch's office. Everyone stood back up.
Steve watched through the hole in the roof as the Ender Dragon flew away, breathing purple fire.
They would have to deal with the dragon later. Right now, Notch was in front of them.
"You see, Steve?" Notch asked. "There is nothing you can do. The Ender Dragon is loose, wreaking havoc on the world. And you four are about to die."
"On the count of three, charge," Steve whispered. "One, two, three!"
The four of them charged.
Notch and Jean didn't move.
When they were a few blocks away from them, Jean pulled out her gun.
Everyone stopped, trying to pause their momentum.
Lourd's momentum was too strong, and he plowed into Notch.
At least, he would've.
If Notch hadn't stabbed him in the stomach with a diamond sword.
"Lourd!" Steve shouted. He was about to run over to him, but Jean clicked her gun. Steve froze.
"Goodbye, old friend," Notch hissed. Lourd fell over, breathing heavily. He was losing a lot of blood.
"There is nothing you can do," Notch said again. "The only thing left, is to kill you three."
Suddenly, there was a loud rumbling sound. It kinda sounded like the Ender Dragon, but more mechanical.
Everyone looked up.
Some sort of huge iron contraption was floating over to the building. Steve saw someone sitting on it, but he couldn't make out who it was.
"It must've taken thousands of iron ingots to make that thing!" Scullscan shouted over the noise.
Thousands of iron ingots...
Suddenly, Steve realized who was on the contraption.
Herobrine.
"Oh no," Notch murmured.
The iron contraption flew so it was directly above the building.
"NOTCH!" Herobrine screamed in a menacing voice. "THIS IS A GIANT MAGNET. IT WILL ATTRACT ALL MAGNETIC THINGS FROM YOUR BUILDING, UNTIL I FIND MY SWORD!"
"I can just give you the sword instead!" Notch suggested.
"IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT!" Herobrine yelled back. "EVER SINCE YOUR SUCCESSOR SHOT ME IN THE HEAD, IT'S BEEN TOO LATE!"
Notch turned to Jean. "Idiot," he said.
"I saved your life!" Jean replied incredulously.
"I could've handled myself," Notch said.
Jean glowered at him, but didn't respond.
"THIS MAGNET WILL MOST LIKELY KILL EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING!" Herobrine shouted. "NOW SAY GOODBYE!"
He flicked a switch, and the magnet turned on.
Steve felt a force pulling upward, but it didn't bring him up, since he wasn't magnetic.
Metallic things started flying up to the giant magnet. Everyone was avoiding all of it.
The elevator came flying out of the floor, and Jean dove out of the way. She ended up next to the floor to ceiling windows.
Steve was watching all this, and he didn't notice Notch charge at him.
Steve barely jumped out of the way of the diamond sword.
Then he and Notch started fighting, iron sword verses diamond sword.
Steve had fought many skilled swordsmen and women, but Notch was by far the most skilled.
Steve was cut multiple times, and he didn't land a hit on Notch.
Notch cut Steve's legs, then swung for his head, but Steve blocked that hit.
All the while things were flying out of the floor.
Suddenly, a glowing diamond sword flew out for the floor and struck Notch. It wasn't enough to kill him, but he landed about ten blocks away.
Steve watched the sword fly into Herobrine's hands. He caught it, grinned evilly, then teleported away.
But he left the magnet on.
Steve's sword was ripped out of his hands, and it flew up to the magnet. He saw Notch's sword fly up too.
"Steve!"
Steve looked towards the voice. Sharky and Scullscan were holding Lourd. They were about to go down the stairs.
Sharky took a deep breath.
Then he threw Steve his obsidian necklace.
Steve caught it, and nodded his thanks to Enderspi, who returned the nod. Then he and Scullscan left with Lourd.
"Jean!" Notch yelled from the ground. "Shoot him!"
Jean was still by the window. She got out her gun, which she could barely hold, since it was metallic. She was about to shoot, but hesitated.
That second of hesitation cost her.
Because a Ghast crashed through the window, knocking her all the way to the other side of the room. Her gun flew up to the magnet.
"Idiot!" Notch yelled.
Steve looked at the Ghast.
Jay, Kirai, Nomis, Tommy, and a girl Steve didn't recognize were riding it. They hovered just outside the hole where the window was.
"You killed Ashton!" the girl screamed. She was about to leap off the Ghast at Notch, but Tommy held her back.
"Not now, Alice," Jay said. Suddenly, the diamond sword at his side flew up to the magnet. So did all the other metallic weapons the five Ghast riders had.
Wait, Jay had a sword?
That didn't matter right now. Steve started making the potion.
"Whoa, what is going on in here?" Jay asked as more stuff flew past his face.
"You guys need to go!" Steve yelled as he started grinding up the obsidian necklace.
"Not without you!" Jay yelled back.
"Jay, listen to me! Fly the Ghast a little far out from the building! I'll catch up!" Steve shouted.
"Are you crazy? You're gonna jump?!" Jay screamed.
"Just trust me!" Steve screamed back. He finished making the potion.
Jay looked at him for another second, then nodded. "I'll see you soon!" he yelled.
Steve nodded. Jay steered the Ghast away from the building.
Steve stood up with the potion.
Then Notch kicked him back down.
The potion skittered across the floor, luckily not breaking, and landed too far away for Steve to reach.
Notch kicked him again, and Steve kicked back. He got up, and they started fighting with their hands and feet.
Notch punched Steve in the face, and he headbutted Notch's head. Notch kicked him in the stomach, and Steve punched him in the nose.
They kept fighting, with things flying all around them.

Jean's Point of View
Jean lay on the floor. She was hurt, physically and mentally.
Notch had called her a servant and an idiot.
Jean felt a hatred for Notch.
Suddenly, a potion landed near her.
She picked it up and looked at it, wondering what it did. It didn't look familiar.
Then, out of nowhere, Madge appeared.
Before Jean could say anything, Madge waved a hand over Jean's face, then disappeared again.
Suddenly, Jean remembered.
She remembered looking through Madge's office, and finding a blueprint.
Jean realized what this potion was.
Notch's Destruction.

Steve's Point of View
Notch punched Steve quick as a rabbit twice in the nose. Steve tried kicking Notch, but Notch grabbed his leg and threw him.
It was no use. Steve was too tired.
He was on the ground, and Notch towered over him.
Notch punched Steve in the face, hard, once, twice, three times.
"Are you ready to die, Steve?" Notch asked. "This time, we won't just erase your memories. We'll erase you!"
Steve had half a heart left.
Just before Notch brought his fist down for the final time, he was splashed with a potion.
Notch stopped for a second.
Then, he screamed.
Steve couldn't describe what was happening. But it looked like Notch was aging fifty years in a matter of seconds.
Notch kept screaming, and then...
He exploded.
Yep, he literally exploded into a bunch of bones and blood.
Steve looked, shocked, at Jean.
She had thrown the potion at Notch.
"Go," Jean said.
Steve hesitated, then nodded.
He charged to the hole where the window was, dodging holes in the ground and stuff flying everywhere.
Suddenly, The Iron Destroyer's dead body came crashing up through the floor. Steve jumped on it, ran across, and made it to the other side before he was crushed. He kept running to the hole in the wall.
This building was definitely not structurally sound anymore. Metal support beams were being ripped out of the wall. Mojang Headquarters could collapse any minute.
Steve made it to where the window used to be.
He jumped.
And the building came down behind him.
