I made myself comfortable in the car as I leaned my head over the seat while closing my eyes, remembering the incident which happened to me a few minutes ago.

I sighed, "Ethan didn't let me. He insisted to take his so that I won't ditch him immediately after reaching. The irony." I laughed to myself.

"God no!" I exclaimed while laughing, "I hate drunk dazed parties. I don't like all the booze and drugs. I hate them." He nodded in understanding. "This was my first frat party."

"Can I turn on the radio?" I asked as he nodded. As soon as I turned I put I heard a familiar voice Sean Paul And Dua Lipa while I grinned. And started singing with them.

I continued singing while dancing with my hands. As soon as the song ended Dalhyun said, "you sing well,"

I giggled, "my friends say I sing like a monkey,"

He burst into laughter, "now that I look into it, you do sing like a monkey." I pouted at him while he flashed his famous boxy smile at me, "you're cute."

And I felt butterflies in my stomach.

I did a small hair flip and said, "I know," he continued laughing as we drew closer to my house. When he stopped in front of my house, he turned towards me with a smile and then glanced at something behind me.

"Mrs Pie is peaking again," he said while I snickered.

"That detective. Sometimes I feel like she was a detective in her younger years." I commented then sighed looking at my house, "now I gotta spend the whole night alone in that big house."

"Tani is not at home?"

I shook my head, "she is in Stanford dorms with her study buddies." He nodded. "Anyways, Thank you so much for dropping me off. I owe you one."

I opened the door to get off when he called me, "Do you want to spend the night at mine? I mean, it's not empty, with all the members." I stared at him wide-eyed.

"I—I," I stammered, "Are you sure? I mean, you all are The X7, not just some ordinary people."

He chuckled, "I'm sure we could be a bunch of ordinary people for one night. Moreover, the members want to meet you."

"Um—Thank you so much for offering but I'll decline." I immediately got out of the car, still, shocked about what he offered. I swiftly move towards my house when I felt a hand gripping my wrist, stopping me in my tracks. Knowing who it is, I turn around, looking at him with wide eyes.

"Dawn," he sighed softly, "I know that you won't be extremely comfortable with us, especially after what happened at the fart party, but are you sure you want to spend the night alone?"

I glanced past him while biting my lower lip, thinking that he was right. Knowing Dalhyun and even the members from all the forced—to—watch interviews of The X7, I knew their personalities by now. And I know that I'll be more comfortable staying with them than spending the night alone with the fear of someone breaking into my house and groping me.

I immediately shudder as I imagined the scene. At these moments, when I get negative thoughts I sincerely miss my brother.

Shaking my head vigorously I say, "O—Okay, I'll stay the night." He flashed me his boxy smile as I smiled back, "I'll just change and get some toiletries. Would you like to come in?"

"It's alright, I'll just wait here." Nodding I turned around and walked towards my house then punched in the code. Closing the door behind me, I leaned against it with a heavy sigh still wondering if I made the right decision in saying yes to him.

Dalhyun cleared his mouth, as the four of them shouted something Korean and then turned towards him—us, I mean they turned towards us. Jae who was at the topmost of the small hill immediately stood up and acted like he was dusting his pants, not daring to look at us.

My gaze darted towards the rest as Dew stood up flipping his hair dramatically then Heaven followed—making surprised faces and gasping. Finally, the leader stood up holding a remote, staring at us with an open mouth and wide eyes.

Kija coughed on purpose as everyone stopped gaping at us. I was removed from my surprise too as I immediately joined my hands and bowed saying, "annyeonghaseyo,"

"annyeong annyeong," everyone greeted me back and I stood up biting my lip thinking what to say next. It seemed like everyone else was also thinking this since they had the same facial expression as me.

Then suddenly three dogs came running towards me as I immediately sat on my heels and greeted the three of them by their names. "Hello, Becky, NomNom and Kyung." I put my hand forward as Kyung sniffs it first then keeps his paw, "it's lovely seeing you again Kyung."

While I was busy greeting Kyung the other two were sniffing me around then Nom barked and wagged his tail at me followed by Becky. Kyung growled at them and then snuggled between my knees as I giggled.

I heard the members speak in Korean, but I didn't get a word except 'XO'. I stood up holding Kyung in my arms as he made himself comfortable with a purr. Then Dalhyun spoke up, also in Korean while I stared at him in wonder.

He sounds so sexy while speaking in Korean.
