The Plane has landed in Syria but the team hasn't disembarked yet

"Hey Celeste, Cameron I'll race you off the plane," James says wanting to make the start of the mission more fun

"I'll pass," you say not wanting to run with all your standard gear puls the medical stuff

"Ach Komm Schon (oh come on), you know you will win like the multiple other times," Stiglitz states making you giggle

"that was once and besides you have been in the SEALs longer and I've only recently completed basic training," James pleads with Cameron

"I'll be game," Jay speaks up

"ok then," James gets up

"let's start from here and we will race to the door of the command centre" James and Jay grab their gear and move into position

"Cameron are you a betting person?" you ask thinking you might make things interesting

"Ja ten says Jay wins,"

"ok you're on," you reply

The ramp finally lowers and James and Jay are ready to go

"Celeste can you do the honours," Jay asks

"ok, ready, set, go," you say

they both set off at full speed and everyone else follows behind

Two minutes later everyone has made it to the command centre and James has won the race to everyone's surprise

"here you go," Stiglitz replies as he passes you a ten dollar note

"thank you,"

Three minutes later you are waiting in the briefing room because you made yourself comfortable in the bunks

"are you Celeste Hayes?" a CIA analyst asks

"yes, can you tell me if my mum Kathrin Hayes is one of the hostages?" you ask

"yes she is and that's why I'm here," the CIA analyst says

"before I forget my name is Jackie but for some reason, everyone on base calls me Jack,"

"thanks for letting me know about my mum, to be honest, I kinda knew this was gonna happen eventually," you let out a sigh

you hear two familiar voices

"I'm telling you, James, you cheated," Jay says as they both enter the briefing room

"you're still going on about that, I won fair and square," James retorts

"Celeste, you were watching who won me or Jay?"

"James by a mill," you reply

"any way we are a bit early for the latest briefing," Jay remarks

"no your not Jay," Jamie says as the rest of the squad trickle in

"Anyway everyone this is Jackie and she will be assisting us,"

"welcome," she replies

"as you know fifteen people were taken hostage and three of those people are UN Peacekeepers, we have tracked them to the Iran/Syria border,"

"It will be our task to rescue them before the hostage-takers move over the border," Jamie says jumping in

"when do we leave?" Scott asks

"Tonight," Jamie replies

"We will use the cover of night so we don't spook them" he gets a map out

The map has a cross over the village so the team knows where it is

" what is the plan?" You ask

"Helio insertion," Jamie replies

"Followed by asset extraction?"

"That is correct Celeste we will leave in three hours,"

Five minutes later you are relaxing on your bunk when you are interrupted

"James if you are here to ruin my relaxation I suggest you do it at another time," you say threatening him

"You don't seem pleased to be here what's going on?" James responds as he sits down on the bunk across from you

"Don't tell anyone else but my mum is one of the three peacekeepers who is being held, hostage,"

"Did you tell Jamie?" James asks thinking you've told him

"Well not yet but I don't think rescuing my mum would decrease my skill as a medic" you respond

"I didn't say that," James retorts

"I just asked if you had told Jamie,"

"true anyway can we do this another time please?" you ask because you want the first hour as relaxation time 

"ok fine I'll be quiet," James says
