Chapter 3
~Virgil's PoV~
I opened my eyes slowly, sunlight was barely reaching the loft, but I could tell that it was at least seven. Our activities started at ten so I still had time. I noticed Roman was already up, reading a Harry Potter book. I smiled at his dorkiness. I was about to get up to get my sketchbook and headphones when I noticed a bug on the wall. I screeched and lept onto Roman's bed, shaking him.
"ROMAN! THERE'S A BUG! MURDER IT!!" I screeched. Roman looked up at me, then looked to where I was pointing. He sighed and put a bookmark in his book, yeeting it at the bug, successfully killing the vile creature. I hope it burns in Hell where it belongs. I let out a breath, "Oh thank God," I breathed.
"How about a kiss for your Prince Charming?" he smirked, I blushed lightly and punched his shoulder softly.
"In your dreams," I replied. Roman simply grinned.
"My specialty is making dreams come true," Roman winked at me. I blushed a bit darker and shook my head up, getting up and picking up my sketchbook, pencils, headphones, and phone, sitting down on my bed.
"Jesus Christ," I murmured, putting on the Greatest Showman album and opening my sketchbook. I rested my pencil on the paper. My mind coming up blank. I looked at Roman, who had retrieved his book.
Without realizing it, I started to sketch him.

Logan, Patton, Roman, and I were sitting at the main lodge, ready to go hiking. Apparently, on the first day of every summer, they would go hiking. Patton said it was very very pretty and scenic, but I'm not much for physical activity, so I wasn't that excited to go on it.
Also, Connor, Evan, Jeremy, and Michael were joining us. Our two cabins were placed in a group, each group gets assigned a counselor. We got a guy named John, he was basically sunshine personified.
"Okay, happy campers! Are you ready to hike?" he asked cheerfully.
They all cheered, except for me, I shrugged.
We started walking, I followed blindly, hardly paying attention. I heard quiet talking and giggling, which was strange considering there were only guys in our groups. Evan fell in step beside me, we were both walking together. I wasn't talking, Evan was though, he was rambling on about different trees and stuff. He was cute, but not my type. I noticed Connor glancing at him every now and then. Which made me smirk slightly. He turned red and flipped me off, turning around and walking quickly.
I eventually zoned out again. I didn't even realize the group had stopped until I bumped into someone. That someone being Roman. Roman playfully pushed me away, but him being like, a hundred times stronger than me, I fell over easily.
"Oh, sorry!" Roman said, chuckling slightly and helping me up. I rolled my eyes and dusted myself off, taking his hand and standing upright again.
The reason why we stopped, as I soon learned, was because we were going to take a little break. Apparently, we've been walking for hours, and my legs just kinda numbed the pain out. I knew it was going to hurt like Hell the next morning.
I wasn't one for sitting on the ground, so I climbed up a tree a bit and sat on a sturdy-looking branch. I sat there for a while, just looking around. I saw Connor and Evan talking, I smirked. They would make a very cute couple. Jeremy and Michael were sitting underneath a tree and talking. Roman, Patton, and Logan were talking too.
Eventually, we started walking again. The scenery was quite nice, I will admit.

We were back in our cabin, the sun was about to set and Roman was trying to pull me off of my bed because we were all supposed to go to a campfire.
"C'mon Virgey! We'll be late!" he groaned, still trying to pull me off the bed. But I work by cat physics, so it was practically impossible.
"Ugh fine," I agreed after almost half an hour. I got up and followed him out. But I was apparently walking too slow because he scooped me up in his arms and ran there.
When we got there, Patton, Logan, the girls, and Connor were already there. So we were just waiting for Evan, Michael, Evan, and Jared. When they got there, the night was spent hanging out, talking, joking, laughing. It was a lot of fun.

It was almost midnight, and I noticed Virgil had started to drift off. I smiled softly, he was quite adorable. Me and my gay ass were all for him. So me, being the chivalric and amazing person I was, I caught him just as he passed out and took off my sweater, putting it on him. I said goodnight to everyone and carried Virgil back to our cabin.
Might I add that my sweater was way too big for him, yet he still managed to look adorable?
