Re-Cap:

"Virgil, I-I like you," he said abruptly. My eyes turned into saucers as I looked at him wide-eyed.

I was met with a pair of lips on mine.

~Virgil's PoV~

I was initially in shock. Roman is kissing me? WHAT? Not only that, HE LIKES ME? WHAT'S GOING ON?!

I found myself kissing back, though tentatively. 

We both pulled away after a few glorious seconds and stared at each other, faces beet red.

"S-so I'll take that as a you like me too?" Roman asked sheepishly. I blushed and nodded slightly, he grinned and pulled me towards him, in a hug. I smiled and after a moment of hesitance,  I hugged him back.

After a moment I ended up in his lap as we watched the sunset. The purple and blue that was so scarce a minute ago now invading the water like a plague, along with some murky black around the edges.

He rested his chin on my head as the stars started appearing, I smiled. We stayed there for a little while.

"We should probably get back," I murmured. Roman sighed and nodded, I got up first and offered him a hand to help him up. He took it and pulled himself up. He smiled down at me and I blushed. How had someone like Roman like me?! 

I felt him take my hand and I snapped out of my thoughts, I smiled at him and we walked to the cabin.

We opened the door to see Patton and Logan sitting on the couch, watching a movie. Patton grinned at us, and grinned wider when he saw our intertwined hands.

"Hey guys! We're watching The Lorax, you guys wanna join?" Patton asked hyperactively. I looked at Roman and shrugged, sitting down next to Patton. Roman sat down next to me, noticeably close, but who cares?

Halfway through the movie, I felt something on my hand, Roman's hand was on top of it, I looked up at his face. He was facing the TV, not looking at me, there was a blush on his cheeks. I smiled softly and turned my attention back to the movie.

When it was over I looked over to Patton and Logan.

Patton was curled up in Logan's lap, who's hand was in Patton's hair. Both were asleep. I nudged Roman and pointed to them. Roman grinned evilly and took out his phone. I looked at him quizzically. 

"Blackmail material," he smirked, taking a picture of them.

"Why would you ever need to blackmail Patton?" I asked. Roman shook his head and ruffled my hair.

"No, to blackmail Logan," he said.

I shrugged, "Well, I'm going to bed," I yawned, stretching. Roman nodded and gave me a kiss on the forehead after a moment of hesitation. I smiled, a blush dusting my cheeks. I climbed up the ladder and quickly changed into PJ's.

I laid down in bed, propped up slightly by the pillows and started looking through my phone. Instagram and Snapchat and all that.

Roman suddenly flopped down onto my bed right next to me. I scooted over and absentmindedly ran my hand through his hair. He draped an arm over me and curled up against my side. My face was super hot and my heart was going a thousand miles an hour.

Roman's hand moved up to my chest, right where my heart is. "Hey, calm down please," he murmured sleepily. It was super hot, it just made my heart beat faster. He sat up, "Am I making you uncomfortable?" he asked.

I shook my head no, heart still thundering.

Roman nodded and laid back down, I closed my eyes too, putting my phone away.
