As Izuku and Dakota were walking to UA they suddenly got stopped by news reporters and press

While Izuku was trying to be polite and answer their questions Dakota was getting annoyed and ended up dragging his brother away by the back of his collar

Dakota: Come on Izuku we have classes to attend

Izuku: They were just asking questions

Dakota: Yeah and as soon as you give them an answer they'll ask for more. Now come on

The two brothers continued to walk in the school while the news were asking the other students about Toshinori being a teacher there

Eventually Aizawa stepped in and told them to back off and to leave his students alone

In class Aizawa was speaking to them about their way of dueling

Aizawa: Descent work on your tag team duels you guys. I saw the video feed and went over each of your teams results. Bakugou your Doomfire is powerful, but don't try to rely on it too much

Bakugou: Sure thing

Aizawa: Iida your monsters are powerful with their effects, but try looking at a bigger picture when tag teaming

Iida: Yes sir!

Aizawa: Izuku you have powerful cards, but don't try to completely rely on your teammate

Izuku: Understood

Aizawa: Finally, Dakota those risky bluffs you make can be convincing, but remember there are other duelists who could counter that strategy

Dakota: Yes

Aizawa: Let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future

Everyone: Is it another duel test

While everyone was nervous about what it was they quickly calmed down when they found out what it was

Aizawa: You all need to pick a school representative

Class: Oh good just normal school stuff

While everyone was trying to persuade the others about being class rep Dakota was getting annoyed and decided to speak up

Dakota: Alright everyone be quiet!

The rest of the class look at Dakota while Dakota got out of his seat

Dakota: The simplest way to see who will be class rep will be decided like all politics by voting

Kaminari: Is this really the best idea

Tsu: We've only known each other for a few days how do we know who we can trust

Kirishima: Besides wouldn't everyone just vote for themselves

Dakota: Most likely some will vote for themselves, but when you think about the one who receives the most votes can clearly be trusted

Iida: Dakota is right we should settle this with an election

Aizawa: Do what you want just decide before my nap is over

Dakota: Alright

Dakota took a empty cardboard box and cut a small hole in it

Dakota: This is where your votes will be going, so now let's get started

Timeskip

After everyone put their vote in Dakota and Iida counted how many votes did they get each which ended with Dakota having 7 votes and Yaoyorozu coming in second with 3 votes  and Izuku coming in third with 1 vote

Dakota: Holy shit how did I get so many votes

Izuku: Well you pretty much are the strongest person in our class

Dakota: I guess

Dakota and Yaoyorozu were standing in front of the class

Aizawa: Alright so the class rep is Dakota and the deputy is Yaoyorozu

Dakota: Well isn't this some kind of faith huh Momo

Yaoyorozu: That's what it seems like

Both: We'll do the best we can to represent our class

While they both bowed the others seemed to give off positive comments

Tsu: This actually might not be so bad

Kirishima: Yeah I could definitely get behind Dakota he does give off that leadership role

Kaminari: Yeah and not to mention Yaoyorozu was totally on the top when it came to our duel results

Timeskip

While at lunch Dakota sat down with his brother along with Iida, Uraraka, Tsu, Kirishima, Shigaraki, Toga, Touya, and Yaoyorozu

Uraraka: Ugh it's always so crowded in here

Iida: That's cause students in the tech support and dueling courses all share the same cafeteria

Uraraka: This rice is so good

Dakota: Hey guys mind telling me how I got seven votes not to mention do you really think I'm cut out for this

Toga: Of course you are

Iida: You'll do great. Your talent to see a person's personality based on their deck could help you strategize making you a better duelist that's why I voted for you

Dakota: Really? You voted for me Iida?

Kirishima: Well you definitely got my vote for sure

Dakota: Huh? Wait Kirishima you voted for me too

Kirishima: Yep. You seem like the type of person who can have fun, but also know when it's time to be serious plus those dragons of yours are off the charts

Shigaraki: The power your dragons possess is what got me to vote for you

Toga: I had no reason honestly

Touya: What type of friend would I be if I didn't vote you

Dakota was shocked hearing that Shigaraki, Toga, and Touya also voted for him

Yaoyorozu: You can also thank me for being the reason why you got seven votes. I'm just curious who voted for me

Midoriyas: I did

Momo was surprised seeing that both Dakota and Izuku voted for her

Dakota: Well now the question is who was the seventh person who voted for me

Kirishima: I actually might have an idea, but not completely sure

Dakota: Really who do you think

Kirishima: Well maybe Bakugou

Dakota had a partial spit take when he heard that about wiped himself off as they started talking about something else while Bakugou was just glaring at Dakota and the others

Soon after an alarm blared saying there was a breach to the security while everyone was evacuating everyone was getting pushed and shoved due to the hallway being cramped and caused Dakota to get slammed into the wall of glass seeing the press just got in

Eventually something very quickly happened to Dakota that caused him to let out a loud roar

Everyone stop panicking and looked around at this point Dakota announced the situation

Dakota: Everyone calm down it's just the media, so there's no need to haul ass!

Everyone then looked out the wall of glass to see Dakota was right

Dakota: Now everyone should head back to their classes. We're at UA Duel Academy, so all of us should be acting like elite duelists to prove to the world that we're the best of the best

The other students of 1-A were surprised and proud seeing their class rep already taking action to calm everyone down

Back at class

Yaoyorozu: Okay Dakota it's time to begin

Dakota: Right, so now we just need to find out who the other class officers are going to be. Meaning we need to see who will be the secretary, treasurer, and historian then we'll get to the lower ranking officers

Yaoyorozu: In order for us to make our decisions on who gets what we focused on what you're mainly good at

Dakota: Exactly, so for Secretary we decided to give that position to you Iida. You'll pretty much be keeping track of events and/or activities

Iida: I am honored and shall do my best

Yaoyorozu: Next is Treasurer which we decided that would be you Izuku

Izuku: Wait really?!

Dakota: Yep and don't stress too much because you and Iida will be working together in some situations

Izuku: Oh

Dakota: Next up is the Historian they'll be in charge of writing narratives of activities and events as well as publicize activities too. So we decided to make this a two person job which we decided on Jiro and Kaminari

Kaminari: Alright

Jiro: I'll do the best I can

Yaoyorozu: Next we need a Sergeant-at-arms who'll greet visitors and basically be security and we both agreed to give this position to Kirishima

Kirishima: Thanks guys

Dakota: Finally we have the Fundraising officer this person will be in charge of organizing activities to earn money for class needs we decided to give that to Mina

Mina: Alright!

Timeskip

It was the next day as Aizawa was going over the lesson they had for the day

Aizawa: Today's duel lesson will be a little different. You'll have three instructors me, Toshinori, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you

Dakota: *thought* No doubt this is because of the security breach that happened yesterday

Sero: Sir what kind of dueling is this?

Aizawa: Turbo Duels. You were all given a slip that says you'll be doing turbo duels as part of your duel training until you get your real duel runner license. Just think of this as a temporary limited permit

Kaminari: Sounds like we're in for quite a ride

Mina: Totally

Kirishima: Real duelist stuff this is what separates the men from the boys. I'm shaking with excitement

Dakota: Good thing we know how to ride one right bro

Izuku: That's for sure

Aizawa: Guys I'm not finished yet. What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about outfits, but keep in mind if you want to be a known pro duelist you can't wear the same outfit all the time. The place we're going is off campus so we'll be taking a bus there. That's all start getting ready

Everyone was wearing their duel outfit while Uraraka and Yaoyorozu walked up to them

Uraraka: Wow you two are like complete opposites despite being brothers

Izuku: Oh, hey Uraraka

Dakota: Sup, Uraraka and the reason is because I'm more of a dragon duelist while Izuku here is more of a warrior type duelist

Yaoyorozu: That does explain the rivalry you both show towards each other

Dakota: Alright! Everyone time to get on the bus, so let's get going

Uraraka was surprised to see Dakota give orders like a drill sergeant

Uraraka: Man Dakota can be really serious at times

Izuku: Well that's how he always was even when you tried to talk him out of something he wouldn't listen

Yaoyorozu: So he stays focused on what he sees

Izuku: Pretty much

As everyone was on the bus Tsu brought the attention to Izuku and Dakota

Tsu: If we're pointing out the obvious there's something I want to say about you actually Midoriya

Izuku: Wait just me, Dakota, or both of us cause it gets confusing since we both have the same last name

Tsu: Actually it's about both of you that Black Luster Soldier and Chaos Dragon Emperor didn't Hisashi Midoriya use them

Izuku: Oh yeah he's actually our father

They were all a little surprised until they heard light snoring and looked to see Dakota asleep as he was resting his head on Yaoyorozu's legs

Izuku: *sigh* I knew he was staying up late studying. You need help Yaoyorozu

Yaoyorozu: Not at all Izuku besides he'll most likely need the rest

After a few more minutes Aizawa told them they arrived and Yaoyorozu gently woke up Dakota

Dakota: Thanks for letting me sleep like that Momo

Yaoyorozu: Well it is normal for a couple to lay down on one another

Dakota: I guess

They all walked out of the bus and was greeted by Anan Kurose otherwise known as the Space Duelist: Thirteen who uses a Constellar deck

Anan: Hello everyone I've been waiting for you

Izuku: It's the Space Duelist: Thirteen. A pro duelist who specializes in the Constellar archetype and Xyz summoning

Uraraka: This is amazing! Thirteen is one of my favorite duelists

Anan: I can't wait to show you what's inside

Class: This is going to be awesome!

When they walked inside they saw what seemed to be a race track they were all surprised

Anan: This is the Weather Simulation Turbo Stadium, but you can call it the WSTS. This has different types of weather from hot sunny days to cold snowy days and everything in between. Now before we start you all know that when you duel the monsters are holograms and their attacks can't hurt you physical wise however your Duel Runners aren't, so be sure to check to see if they need maintenance after this. Aizawa: Right. Now that, that's over...

Before Aizawa could finish his sentence the power in the WSTS turned off as someone walked out from the shadows who didn't look to friendly

Kirishima: Hey what's going on

???: So this is the WSTS honestly I thought it would look better

They saw the figure, but Dakota and Izuku were the ones who were mostly on edge

Dakota: Guys stand back

???: So you two must be the kids of Hisashi huh? Well guess I didn't have to look to hard. Now who should I duel?

The guy looked back and forth at the two brothers and stopped at Dakota

???: You.

Everyone looked at Dakota wondering what his response would be

Dakota: Well I can't decline my first Shadow duel

Class: Shadow Duel?!

Aizawa: Dakota don't! I can't allow you to do this

Dakota: Not much of a choice anymore Mr. Aizawa he picked me to duel him, so I have to. First what's your name

Smaug: Call me Smaug.
