🌹 The Ride Home
For the next couple days that the twins were there - they thought the children as much fighting skills they could, and how to control their newly achieved powers. They managed to get Marx to use Booster Rings - basically giving him more of a boost in speed, strength, and so forth.
John had managed to make it rain over a small group, or one person on a sunny day. Johnny had manged to light up a light bulb without making the glass shatter. Of course, not on the first try. Lets just say, the town went without power for a little bit. The younger twins planned on combining their powers together and find spells to help each other. Gabbey agreed, only if they could control their own powers first before teaming.
With a lot of concentration, Starr could now summon a dagger made up of the night sky and stars. The brunette tried to practice more at night - since that's when she was more in touch with her powers - but it was a working progress. Amber (who Gabbriel ships with Starr really bad) had been able to heal a small cut and can give life to plants who are on the brick of frost. To say Gabbey was impressed was an understatement.
How they ever helped a healer learn - she would never know.
With Dally - since he already had decent control over his powers - they taught him how to properly fight. With and without powers. After a couple days, he could last five minutes in a spar with Gajeel. Gabbriel and Gajeel were proud at the progress the kids were making.
But all good things had to come to an end.
Gabbriel smiled softly at the children as they all crowded into the room where they all met. Gajeel and Gabbriel had to leave soon enough, they still had to buy train tickets to get back to Magnolia.
"Do you have to go?" Hannah spoke sadly, watching as Gabbriel and Gajeel checked over their belongings one last time. They didn't want to leave anything behind.
"Yeah, you can stay here! You could buy this property and live here and we can be one big family!" John said, looking at his twin as he nodded.
"You can't just leave us. . ."
The older twins looked at each other before Gajeel tilted his head a bit, pushing on the bond to remind her. Gabbriel nodded, looking at all the kids.
"As much as we want to stay, we have to go back to the guild. You do know our address though - so you can always write to us. I'm sure everything will turn out okay." She stated, digging through her bag and pulling out a brown sack. "Now, gather around. Gajeel and I got you stuff."
"What kind of stuff?" Hiro questioned innocently, sitting in front.
"You'll have to find out." Gajeel grunted, sitting down next to Gabbey on the couch.
"Alright. . .Hannah, come here. You're first!" The young girl nodded and Gabbey sat the sack between her and Gajeel. She pulled out a small silver chain before looking at Hannah. "Turn around, hair up."
Doing what she said, Hannah turned around and tried to pull up her hair. At the sudden weight on her chest and neck, she look down and gasped in glee. A silver bear in gems hung to the middle of her chest, a silver chain holding it there. "It's so pretty!" She exclaimed, turning around and giving Gabbey a hug. "Thank you, Thank you!"
"Aww, you're welcome." Gabbey smiled, hugging her back before nudging her back to the kids. Gajeel pulled out two bracelets, gesturing for the other twins to come forward.
"Got you two these." He said, attempting to put the rope around their wrist. After a while, he finally got it, waving his hand for the boys to look.
On John's wrist was a black rope with one part of yang - the white sliver with a black dot. Johnny had yin with a white rope, the black sliver with a white dot. "It connects together whenever you want it too."
"Gajeel picked that out himself, I didn't know where the line was for bracelets on growing boys." Gabbey winked as the blue-hair twins hugged Gajeel, making him shift a bit.
"Thank you Gajeel!"
"This is the best present I've gotten!"
"Starr, Amber." Gabbriel smiled, gently moving Amber towards Gajeel. "He got your gift, Amber."
"And you got me my gift?" Starr grinned as Gabbey nodded.
"You aren't the type of girl to wear jewelry, I know that, but I got something that was close. . ." The black-haired woman reached into the bag and pulled out a silver-blueish bow. Silver stars littered a path on the bow, a silver ring holding the bow together. "Turn around, I'll put it in your pony-tail. I'm surprise you have it up today!"
"I have it up sometimes!" Starr huffed, but let Gabbey put the bow in. As soon as it was in, Starr's hand fluttered over it. "Thank you, Gabbey. I really love it."
"Anytime!" Gabbey winked, leaning in close to whisper; "Send me a post card to yours and Amber's wedding, yeah?"
"Gabbey!!!"
"What'd you get me, Mr.Gajeel?" Amber asked, making Gajeel scoff slightly.
"Almost a week and I'm still called 'Mr'. It makes me sound old, just call me Gajeel."
"A-Alright."
"Here." Gajeel held in fist out, making Amber raise an eyebrow and cup her hands under neath. He opened his palm, making the light hit her glasses as two rings landed into her palms.
"Oh! They're so pretty. . ." She trailed off, looking at the gold ring with green leaves - that would wrap around her finger - and a silver ring with gem leaves. "Thank you!"
"No problem. . ." He grunted, looking away from her. "I - uh - thought you'd like that."
"Good job, Amber! You've got him bashful!" Gabbey cheered, making Gajeel snap.
"Am not!"
"Am I next???" Hiro asked, making everyone chuckle at his enthusiasm.
"Yeah, here you are." Gabbey grinned, giving the youngest boy a stuff teddy bear. He let out a squeal of delight, hugging the soft thing close.
"Marx, Dally!" Gabbey called out, a bitter sweet smile. "Last two presents before we leave." The only blond boy walked forwards, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion as Gabbey gave him a box. "Open it."
Marx took the lid off, staring at the object in shock as he dropped the lid. "Gabbey. . ."
"Funny story, actually. A while back, there was this goon bragging about how he stole the family crest of this big family while the house was burning. I ended up taking it - in ways I won't revel - and when I found out it was your family crest. . .Well, it's not exactly mine, is it?"
"You. . .You didn't have too. . ." He whispered, taking the badge in his hands. It was made up gold, a shield with four lions on it and two knights above it.
"Of course I did." Gabbey scoffed, letting out a surprise yelp as Marx hugged her tightly.
"Thank you. . ."
"No problem, bud." She smiled, hugging him back quickly before looking over at Dally and Gajeel. "Your turn!"
Gajeel rolled his eyes at his sister before pulling out the last object. "Uh - this one wasn't bought actually. Or stolen." Gabbey snorted. "It's from. . .A woman who me and Gabbey use to see all the time. She tried to get us out of Phantom Lord - but, uh - we really didn't listen well. She gave this watch to me because she said I acted just like her son. . .Told me to pass it down my line."
He coughed, clearly not use to talking about stuff like this. "Uh - as you can tell, that's not going to happen so. . .I'm giving this to you." He quickly shoved the watch into Dally's hand, watching with careful eyes as Dally looked over it. It had a leather band, the watch was a silver color. "Sorry it isn't much."
"No!" Dally shook his head, quickly putting the watch on his wrist. "No. . .T-This means a lot to me. Thank you."
"No problem kid." Gajeel nodded, ruffling his hair before getting up. "Well, we better get going. . ."
"Wait!" The blue-hair twins rushed into the room. "You almost forgot our gifts to you!"
"Our gifts?"
"Oh yeah!"
The children and teens surrounded the adult twins, making them sit back down. "You have to put them on before you leave!"
"What are they?" Gabbey laughed, just as a box was shoved into her hand. A small one at that. "You can open it Gajeel."
"Lazy ass." Gajeel grunted playfully, taking the lid off and staring at the two objects inside. There was one pair of studded earrings with a cloudy background and speckles of stars. In a transparent white, a Gemini sign was there.
"There wasn't another pair, so we decided to let Gajeel wear on and you wear the other, Gabbriel. You never told us your birthday, so we got you Gemini - the twins sign."
"We also know how distant you are with everyone, so you wouldn't want anyone to know that someone else besides the your twin gave you something - which is why its gray and transparent!"
"You really put a lot of thought into this, didn't you?" Gajeel said in a thick tone.
"Yeah, I guess we did!"
"It's beautiful. . ." Gabbey whispered, nudging Gajeel's arm. "Lets put them on before we leave and get the jewls."
Gajeel nodded as they each took one stud, taking out the same piercing on their ears and putting the new earring in.
"I'm going to miss you guys so much!" Gabbey exclaimed, pulling Gajeel over while trying to hug all the kids. "You better write! Be nice to each other, don't forget us, and if I hear you done something bad, I will come down here and kick your ass!"
"We love you too, Gabbey." Hannah giggled, making Gabbriel freeze. With a slow nod, Gabbey squeezed them tighter.
"Yeah. . .Me too."

It was that damn dream again. The same one that has been haunting her dreams since the accident happened. Jet and Droy were already gone, leaving Levy to Gabbey herself.
But - this one was different.
Gabbey sent another punch, letting out a grin as a crunch was hear from Levy's nose. "Stop! Please, don't do this!" Levy cried out, falling to the ground.
"Begging isn't going to help you now!" Gabbey felt herself snarl, sending kicks after kicks to Levy's small body. Instead of getting up, Levy's blue hair grew to her waist. The blue in her hair turned darker until it was an off-black. She grew to be a bit taller and had a bit more muscle added. Hell, even her voice became a bit less high pitched.
"Don't do this, this isn't you!" At the sound of the familiar voice, Gabbey stopped. The girl that once was Levy stared up at Gabbriel with black eyes; those damn eyes that Gabbey could never forget. "Please, Thorn, don't do this. You don't have to follow Jose anymore."
There was an unsettling pause as Gabbey took in the new girl, her breathing starting to pick up. At the sound of metal whining, Gabbey looked down at her hand to see her dagger in her grasp. It gleamed dangerously in the moon light as she rose it, looking at the oh-so-familiar girl in her sights.
"You never did follow the rules." She whispered before the dagger dropped.

Gabbey woke up. Not screaming like she usually does, but she woke up to tears streaming down her face. Her breathing still wasn't going down. If anything, it seemed to pick up. Her hands shook as she tried to sit up - the train swaying around her. "G-Gajeel. . ." She started, crossing her arms and clutching them tightly. "Gajeel!"
"Whoa, calm down," Gajeel was instantly by her side, dragging her closer. "Deep breathes - Hey, hey, hey, don't scratch at your arms, it won't help." He dragged her hands away from her arms. "What's wrong Gabbey?"
"I-I don't know. I-I can't breathe." She wheezed out. Gajeel nodded pulling his sister closer and hugging her tightly.
"Calm down, shhh. Whatever you were dreaming about, it isn't real. Right now, you're on a train. We're going back to Magnolia and to our little house. We're going to shower, eat some junk foods and iron, then go sleep in our soft beds. Doesn't that sound good?"
Gabbey slowly nodded, her breathing going back to normal after a couple minutes. Another five minutes, she pulled back - pushing thankfulness towards Gajeel in their bond. "Thanks. . .Sorry for waking you up."
"I wasn't asleep anyways - it's okay." Gajeel shrugged it off. Gabbey looked out the window from her spot - watching the landscape pass by.
"Do. . .Do you dream about that night? The night we. . ."
". . .Yeah." Gajeel tensed up, looking away. "It just got worse last night. . .We killed them."
"It's been like that since we saved Levy. . ." Gabbey whispered, grasping her brother's hand. "Why? Why do we dream about killing them? We don't even care about them!!"
"I don't know." Gajeel murmured, his hand tightening around hers'. "We don't care about Fairy tail. . .yet our past is haunting us."
It was silent for a few more minutes - but it felt like hours - before Gabbey spoke in a small voice. "It was worst this time. . ." When Gajeel looked over, she continued. "I. . .I saw her. I was beating the shit out of Levy and she just. . .turned into her. I killed her ."
Gajeel turned towards her, forcing Gabbey to look into their identical red eyes. "What happened to Akemi was not your fault! It's just your mind playing tricks on you. Levy is alive, you didn't kill her and you never killed Akemi. Got it?"
". . .But it feels like it." She whispered pitifully. Gajeel nodded, pulling Gabbey close to him to give her a hug.
"It's okay. . .Nothing like that will ever happen again. . ."
