🌹 The "Friendly" Visitors

Warm sunlight filtered through the closed window of the bedroom that held to sleeping figures. Gabbey laid there, not yet awake along with Daella. The dandy Exceed was curled up to Gabbey's chest wearing a cute sleeping outfit the two of them got made for her. During the time that Daella has been here, she has gotten basic knowledge of Earthland and new outfits for her wardrobe.

It wasn't but an easy month that past; with Gabbriel and Daella trying out their new partnership, Gabbriel trying to become closer to the members in Fairy Tail without making it seem to obvious, and twin bonding with Gajeel every weekend.

Gabbriel, of course, went out on missions every chance she felt like it. Every mission was different, group wise. Sometimes it was just herself on a solo, other times Daella joined her. If she wanted, Levy, Wendy and Gajeel would join her. And if she really thought she could handle it, she joined little missions with Natsu and his team.

Sometimes. Other times, it was too much of a headache.

Of course, speaking up headaches, that's exactly what woke Gabbey up.

The curly-haired Dragon Slayer let out a groan of pain as she slowly started to wake up. It was just at the top of her head and it felt like a pinch of a nerve. She swore that there was someone was hitting her over the head with a bat though. To add to that irritation, her jaw felt sore.

Her red eyes fluttered open and instantly closed when the bright light made it worse. "Motherfucker," She cursed quietly, squinting her eyes to see that Daella was still asleep. "I didn't think I drank that much last night. . .or got into a fight,"

Gabbriel slowly sat up in her now shared bed, making sure not to bother Daella, and scratched her head. "I don't even think I drank at all. . ."

She sighed, running her hand through her hair, and almost choked on her dry throat. Eyes wide, she got out of bed as fast as she could without waking anyone else in the house and ran to the bathroom. Her head whipped over to the mirror and she instantly made her way over.

Her eyes were still the blood red that Redfox's have - at least that's what she thought - and her hair was a complete mess of curls and bed head. But that wasn't the probably.

Gabbey ran her hand through her hair again, closer to the scalp, and almost let out a shriek as her fingers bumped onto something. Whatever it was, it was exactly where her headache was coming from.

"What the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck! " Gabbey hissed, combing through her hair to try and see what this thing was. Not being very successful, the only thing that Gabbriel manged to see was that the top of her head now had two bumps. Not noticeable enough to tell, but if she pulled her hair back or someone touched her head, they could tell. "W-What?!"

Her eyes went to mouth and she bared her teeth, eyes widening in shock. Her teeth were much sharper than they were yesterday. Although she naturally had sharp canines from her dragon slaying magic, they were too sharp, and her normal teeth should not be as pointed as they were.

"What's going on??" Gabbey stammered, raising a shaking hand to her face. "I-I'm not. . .Am I growing horns?!"

"Gabbey," A knock sounded at her bathroom door, making Gabbriel jump in surprise, before the tired voice of Daella spoke up. "Are you done in there? I need to take a bath, and Levy wants to meet at the guild soon to trade books. . ."

"Y-Yeah," Gabbey cleared her throat, turning on the water at the sink before turning it off a moment later. "Just got done."

She opened the door and looked down at her furry partner, smiling as Daella sleepily rubbing her eye.  "Thank you," Daella yawned, walking into the bathroom and shutting it firmly behind her.

Gabbey let out a sigh, closing her eyes and thought hard, It could be nothing. Just continue on your day like it's any other day.

With that thought in mind, Gabbriel puffed her chest out and started getting ready for the day. Maybe she could cook breakfast.

Cooking breakfast was the last thing that Gabbriel should have done. The eggs caught on fire, the bacon was burnt to a crisp, and the toast a different problem completely. Gajeel walked out of his room, looked towards the kitchen where his twin and Daella were panicking, before walking back into his room and shutting the door.

After that disaster was clean up (it took a lot longer than they all planned) it was an unanimous agreement that Gabbriel was only allowed in the kitchen to clean, make drinks, and eat. With that in mind, Gajeel, Gabbey, Daella, and Lily decided to go to their favorite diner and get some brunch.

They sat at their usual spot - ironically the same spot they planned their attack on Fairy Tail - and ordered the same thing they usually did.

Waffles and bacon.

Of course, the two Exceeds tried other foods that were different from Edolas, but Gajeel and Gabbriel always ate the same thing.

"This doesn't taste too bad," Daella mumbled around the mouthful of food she chewed on. Her eyes were bright like they always were. "It actually tastes really good!"

"I don't like mine," Lily declared, shoving his plate of food away and leaning closer to Daella - who was across the table. "Can I share yours?"

"Sure thing," Daella smiled, moving her plate in between the two of them.

"If I didn't know any better," Gajeel drawled out after shoving a handful of bacon down his throat, "I'd say you two were dating."

"I'm pretty sure they are," Gabbey teased, winking at Daella. Thankfully, the Exceed had fur, but that didn't stop the warmth to set in her skin.

"We are simply friends," Lily stated, paying no mind to Daella's deflating figure. "We've been through a lot together side by side."

"Yeah," Daella hummed, poking at a piece of meat on her plate. "Simply friends."

Gabbriel and Gajeel exchanged uncomfortable glances, before trying to change the subject. "Soooo, what's the plan today?"

"I was just gonna stick around the guild and hang out," Gajeel shrugged, chugging his drink. "I didn't really plan on doing anything today."

"That sounds like a good plan," Gabbey sighed, her head aching but she said nothing. "Just chill out and relax. . .as much as you can while in Fairy tail."

   "Honestly," Gajeel scoffed.

"Wonder what mess is going to happen today," Daella hummed as the conversation died out into a new topic.

The quartet of Fairy Tail members easily made their way to the guild hall, stopping along the way to look at the shops.  They held a few bags in there hands, besides Daella who was already trying to put her new bow on her ear.

"I need a mirror!" Daella growled, attempting to put the bow on again but failing.

"Or you could ask for help," Gabbey snickered, grabbing the bow and putting it on Daella easily. "There, pretty."

    "Thank you, Gabbriel!"

   "No problem, Daella."

Gabbey took the small bag she gave Gajeel before entering the guild hall, eyes searching for the small Dragon Slayer. Her red eyes finally landed on Wendy, who was sitting next to Lucy and across from Natsu and Happy. With a shrug towards Gajeel, the twins and two exceeds made there way over.

"Wendy," Gabbey called, sliding in to the seat next to her. Gajeel, grumpily, sat next to Natsu.

"Gabbey!" Wendy greeted. "How are you?"

"Worn out," Gabbey answered, her hands brushing the two bumps on her head. The pain had calmed down to a buzzing numb. She slid the small bag in front of Wendy. "Here. Saw this, thought you might like it."

"Where's my gift?!" Natsu demanded suddenly. "Since when are you handing out gifts? I want a gift!"

"She only gives gifts out to people she likes." Gajeel responded dryly, snickering at the glare Natsu threw him.

   "Do you wanna go, metal-freak?!"

"It's not like I was planning a tea party!"

"Stop it," Lucy and Gabbey said at the same time, glaring at the two boys. They  instantly quieted down. Wendy's soft gasp brought them back to Gabbeys' gift.

"It's beautiful, Gabbey!" Wendy exhaled, holding up her new dream catcher. It was blue and black twine, the middle art woven into a crescent moon. Blue and black beads surrounded it every great now and again, and golden feathers hung from the black circle. "You didn't have to!"

"I wanted to," Gabbey shrugged, giving a nod of thanks to Mira as she dropped off a mug of water. "Hope you like it."

"I love it!" Wendy grinned, gently placing the dream catcher back into the bag before giving Gabbey a hug. "Thank you!"

"Yeah, yeah," Gabbey muttered awkwardly, patting Wendy's head before looking at Lucy. "What are you and flame brain over there going to do today?"

   "Hey!"

"We're just now trying to figure it out," Lucy, now use to the random conversations Gabbey tried to start, answered. "I need some more money for rent, but Natsu just wants to go out and eat!"

   "I'm hungry!" Natsu defended himself.

"You're always hungry," Everyone at the table echoed.

   "Aye!" Happy agreed cheerily.

"Do you even have the money for food?" Carla sniffed.

   ". . .No."

"Thought so. Go on a job request."

Natsu crossed his arms angrily over his chest, opening his mouth to say something, when the guild doors opened up and three figures walked in. To everyone else - they were unfamiliar, so Gabbey was the only one tensing up.

The first man had pale skin, red eyes, and long black hair. He almost looked like another Redfox sibling, but he was way too skinny and lanky. His long black coat barely dragged the ground and his white shirt shone brightly against all the black. Thia.

The next one was a bit buffer male. His orange hair almost looked like fire and his eyes were practically the color of dripping gold.  He, too, wore a black jacket with black pants, but a black jersey with the number ten in bold, white numbers.  Bryson.

Lastly, was a short woman with her brown hair pulled up into a high pony tail. Her grey eyes scanned the guild curiously, and her skin was the kind of tan you get for being outside. She wore something more colorful, a white tank top with a red jacket and red shorts.  Santino.

"Hello!" The short woman called out. "We were just looking for. . .There you are! " Santino's grey eyes clashed with Gabbriel's red eyes. A wicked smile made its way onto Santino's face. "Gabbriel! We need to talk."

"Well, I don't want to," Gabbey responded dryly as she stood.

"I'm sure you'd want to hear this," Thia's smooth voice echoed as his own face changed into a smirk. "It took us a little bit to find you, but this kind of news you don't keep to yourself!"

"Fey ahmiin," Gabbey said in a low tone, speaking the only words she knew in the dragon's language. Gajeel instantly sat up straighter, watching his sister wearily as she headed to a round table near the back of the guild hall, gesturing for the new guests to follow.

"What language was that?" Lucy asked as the guild hall slowly went back to its normal clatter. "I didn't know Gabbey knew another language!"

"It sounded familiar," Wendy chirped in.

"Because it's dragon language. She only knows those two words." Gajeel grunted, not taking his eyes off the new people.

   "Well, what does it mean?"

   "Stay alert."

Gabbey hummed a wordless tune as Santino, Thia, and Bryson settled into the wooden chairs around the table. Santino across from her, Bryson to her right and Thia to her left. Perfect.

"What do you want?" Gabbey deadpanned.

"Gabbey! Come on, we haven't seen each other in forever!" Santino cooed, placing her hand on her cheek. "Tell me, how have you been? Is Fairy tail a good guild? Would they scream in agony if Hughie decided to. . .play with them?"

"Last time I checked, I was a disappointment to your guild," Gabriel bit. "That was, of course, after Hughie tortured Akemi and I."

"Your still mad about that?" Bryson commented dryly, leaning back in his chair. "That was almost two years ago, Gabs, let it fly."

"Well, I'm sure you wouldn't know what decency was, even if it slapped you in the face."

   "Listen here--"

"Drop it!" Thia snapped suddenly, glaring at his two guildmates. "We came here for a reason. Get to it."

"So you can go back to that quiet shadowy corner?" Bryson muttered under his breathe, but Santino easily started to speak over him.

"Fine! Since you want to take all the fun out of this. . ." Santino sighed, straightening up. "It seems that our guild has let you slip though our fingers for far too long. It's time to come back, Gabbey, before you start opening those red lips of yours."

   "Go back?"

"Yup! Grand Master Chai wants you back. Sent us to fetch ya!"

"I actually happen to like it here," Gabbey shrugged, leaning back in her chair as far as she could without falling. She tugged lightly on their bond, warning Gajeel. "So, not can do. Tell Chai I said hi, though."

Thia chuckled, shaking his head. "You know better, pretty rose. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way."

The chair legs fell back onto the floor with a sharp crack as Gabbey dropped her weight, grabbing under the table, and threw the table directly into Santino's face. The table and Santino went flying. Without any pauses, Gabbey swung her right fist into Thia's face and sent him flying the opposite direction.

   "Molten Geyser!!"

   "Metal-make; Rose Shield!

Gabbey turned back just in time to block Bryson's spell, wincing at the sudden heat that was emitted. Her teeth gritted together as she glanced around. Thia was knocked out - he wasn't use to hand-to-hand combat. An easy punch can knock him out, like always.

Santino on the other hand, was shoving the table off her angrily and stomping her way towards her. "You just had to choose the hard way!"

"Yup!" Gabbey replied, starting to run straight at Santino, shield still up. Once the magma stopped, Gabbey reared her fist back and sent a punch at Santino. But the short girl easily held Gabbey's fist in her palm.

"You really did forget?" Santino laughed, eyes glimmering as she barely started to squeeze Gabbey's fist. "Super strength! You dumb bitch,"

"I didn't forget!" Gabbey spat, puffing her cheeks out. "Iron Dragon Roar!"

She was too close to duck, so the woman dropped Gabbey's fist and made an X to try and lessen the blow. Breaking the spell, Gabbey rushed forwards and sent a hard elbow to Santino's stomach, making the said girl loose her breathe and get knocked out.

   "Gabbey!"

Gabbey turned, just in time to see another wave of lava fly towards her. She stumbled back, trying to gain room, but a figure easily stepped in front of her. Levy, moving her hands in the air, called out; "Solid Script: Iron!"

A large piece of iron appeared in front of them and blocked the attack from hitting the two. Gabbey could barely hear the conversation between the Exceeds.

"How'd she do that?! Lava melts everything!"

   "Not iron!"

Gabbey let out a breath of air, watching the iron wall fall before grabbing Levy's wrist and pulling her behind.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu roared out of no where, giving Bryson a hard punch to the face. Bryson flew, landing where Thia was just waking up. Santino hobbled her way over to the two other men, glaring viciously at Gabbriel.

"Just wait until we get our hands on you!" Santino spat. "You're going to wish you were dead!"

"You'll have to go through me!" Gajeel snarled, stepping in between Gabbey and the trio.

"You'll have to go through me, too!" Natsu joined in, standing next to Gajeel.

"Me too!" Levy demanded, shoving Gabbey back. The taller noirette was in shock, watching as some few brave members of Fairy Tail stood in between herself and her enemies.

"You better not mess with us!"

   "Get outta here, punks!"

"You're going to regret fighting one of us!"

"Fine!" Bryson growled out, the trio stumbling backwards out of the guild hall. "You'll all going to die! You're going to get slaughtered!"

"Grand Master Chai wants you," Santino spat, staring straight at Gabbey. "And you know you won't stop until he gets you!"

With those words floating in the air, Santino, Bryson, and Thia rushed out of the Fairy Tail guild hall, cursing the whole way.
