🌹 The Fantasia Parade
"It looks like thanks to Porlyusica-san, his life is no longer in immediate danger." Erza announced to the guild. "Don't worry, the master's going to be just fine."
The guild hall erupted into cheers of glee and joy - relief washing over all of them.
"Thank goodness! I was really worried for a while there!"
"Heh, the old man's not gonna go out easy."
Gabbriel let a sigh from her spot in between Natsu and Gajeel. Her head was resting on her twins' shoulder while her legs were thrown over Natsu's lap.
Her arms were heavily wrapped - as well as her chest and side - and she had a couple small bandages on her face - but she was better off than Natsu and Gajeel.
Natsu seem to have tried to to get Gabbey to take her feet off him, but given up sometime ago - settling for a disgruntle look in his eyes.
Her red eyes darted up - feeling pairs of eyes on her. Not surprisingly; Grey, Lucy, Happy, and Erza were staring at them from their spot at a table. She made eye contact with all of them - grinning at Grey and winking at Lucy and Erza - before looking back at Natsu. The pink haired boy had started talking - sounding like mumbles as he clenched his fist determinedly.
Gabbey snorted - covering her face with her hand as she tried to conceal her laughter. "I-I'd like to see you try!!" She snickered.
"Yeah, like hell. And how do you plan to do that then, huh?" Gajeel easily replied. Natsu mumbled out a reply. "What's that got to do with anything?"
"Oh, hell no!" Gabbriel shook her head, leaning more into Gajeel. "That is not going to work." Natsu shook his fists at the woman, making more grunting noises. "How do I know? Because that's the most idiotic thing I have ever heard! Don't try to throw my legs off you! You should feel honored I'm even letting look at my legs!"
"Those are some pretty nice legs!" Someone called out to Gabbey, making her eyes widen slightly in surprise before masking it.
"Thank you, random mage!"
The doors opened at the front of the guild hall; reveling the mage that caused so much trouble in only a few hours. He was bandaged up as well - his cloak thrown casually over his shoulders.
"Laxus!!"
"You!!"
"Where's the old man?" Laxus asked, causing an uproar in the hall.
"Why, you've got some nerve, wanting to see the master after this!"
"Damn right!!"
"Who do you think you are?!"
"Leave it." At Erza's command, the guild went silent. The red head and blond had an intense stare-down before Erza spoke again. "He's in the medical office through there."
"Oi - Erza!"
"Hey!" Gabbey snapped, glaring at the person that spoke up. "Shut your trap before I shut it for you."
The black-haired girl felt Laxus' sharp gaze stare at her as he started to walk past; but she didn't as so much as give him a glance.
Natsu grunted angrily before skidding in front Laxus. He pointed a finger at the older man and started to grunt something unheard through the bandages. The guild fell silent in confusion as they started at a panting Natsu. Gabbey scoffed, rolled her eyes and started to walk over to Natsu.
"'I'm not settling for this three-on-one crap! Next time, you're going down for sure! You better fight me again sometime, Laxus!'. . .He says." Gajeel translated.
"'Next time' ?" Lucy echoed. "But I thought you won. . .didn't you?"
"Not by a long shot." Gabbriel grabbed Natsu's shoulder and started shoving him away from the lightning mage. Her red eyes gleamed dangerously as she smacked her palm onto Laxus' chest. "You're in for a dangerous game next time."
As Gabbriel started to shove a talkative Natsu away - who was no doubt cursing her out at the moment - she tapped his chest twice. The only reaction Laxus gave was his eye twitching, and brought his hand up to the same spot Gabbriel hit.
"Now then, everyone, lets get preparations underway for Fantasia!"
"Natsu. . .Why the heck are you wounded worse than Laxus is?" A guildmate asked as Gabbey shoved Natsu onto a bench to sit. He let out a groan in reply - or something that sounded like it.
"'Hah, this is nothing!'. . .is what he said." Gabbriel translated.
"How are you two so good at translating his mumbling?"
". . .Don't ask."

The recently banned Fairy Tail member - known as Laxus - made his way down the streets of Magnolia for what seemed like his last time. His bag was slung over his shoulder and he stopped at a building that read 'Honey-Bee's Inn'. His noise burned at the scent of cinnamon and he rolled his eyes at the stupid name for the inn. The blond walked over to the wall of the inn and leaned against it. Waiting.
He didn't have to wait very long before a familiar red-eyed woman was at his side. She ran her hands through her hair - trying to fix it - before speaking. "Didn't expect you to actually show up."
"This is my last time in Magnolia; might as well sight see." Laxus replied simply, recalling what the note Gabbey put on him read.
'Honey-Bee's Inn; after your heart-to-heart with your team.'
"You wanted to talk?"
"Not really talk," She admitted, looking at him from the corner of her eye. "Probably a little threatening."
"You don't scare me." Laxus scoffed.
"Good," Gabbriel did a quick spin to stand in front of Laxus - arms crossed as their eyes clashed. "Then I'm going to love your reaction when I tell you this."
"Oh?"
"I forgive you. I hope you live a long life." Gabbriel stated nonchalantly. Laxus' eyes widen in surprise and he coughed.
"W-What?!"
"Also, that is a nice jacket you have. Very warm I bet - you make it look good. Even if it is a bit old."
"H-Hold on!!"
"You're also very strong! Magically and physically!!"
"Stop!"
Gabbriel grinned toothily - tilting her head innocently. "I'm sorry. Am I bothering you?"
"Yes!" Laxus sputtered out before shaking his head. "I-I mean no. I'm just. . .confused."
"Kill them with kindness," Gabbey quoted with a shrug. "Thought I would try to kill you. Guess it didn't work."
Laxus narrowed his eyes slightly. "So none of that had meaning?"
"Oh, I never said that. I just said I was going to try and kill you. With kindness." She paused. "Not really my thing, though. I'll let Team Natsu keep that."
"I. . ." Laxus pinched the bridge between his nose. "Alright. Then what did you mean?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Gabbey mused - spinning on the heel of her foot before starting to walk away. "See you later, blondie! Maybe sometime soon."
Laxus watched as the Iron Dragon Slayer walked away from his with her hips swaying and a skip in her step. He shook his head. "That woman. . ."

Fireworks exploded in the sky as people cheered happily. Spirits were at an all time high; everyone practically absorbing the happy feeling. While Fairy tail paraded down the street, bringing even more cheer and showing off, Gabbriel was by the set-up stands. Her eyes furrowed in confusion as her and the owner of the game conversed.
"So. . .you're saying that if I get three rings around those bottles, I get a prize?" She repeated.
"Of course! All it'll be is three jewls!"
"But, what's the point?" Gabbey narrowed her eyes. "Like, those bottles can easily be knocked over. Also, these rings are way to small for the bottle to fit threw them. . ."
"Have you never played a carnival game?"
Gabbriel glanced over her shoulder, seeing Levy was standing behind her with a pink outfit on. Although her face held a smile, her eyes were weary. Weary of her. Lucy wasn't too far away from them; conversing with Natsu but keeping an eye on them "No." She admitted, turning back around to the stand game. "Uh. . .Gajeel and I never really been to a carnival. . .or a parade. . ."
"Really?" Levy asked, surprised at that.
"Really." Her eyes narrowed at the prized. "Why do people even win stuff animals? They don't seem useful. . ."
Much to Gabbey's surprise, Levy giggled and walked closer to her. "They aren't suppose to be useful," Levy smiled. "They're cute, and soft, and used for decoration." She glanced over all the stuff animals that the man had. "That blue dragon is cute. I might just have to get it."
"Which one?" Gabbey asked as Levy handed the man three jewls.
"The light blue one. I think it's the last one." Levy pointed out, grabbing the three rings from the man with a smile. "They have pink ones, but I like that one."
"So, you just get a stuffed animal because you want one?" The Iron Dragon Slayer tried to clarified.
"Yup!" Levy nodded, glancing at Gabbriel a bit sadly. "Have you never had a stuff animal? Or anything to play with as a child?"
"I had Gajeel. That's all I needed." She replied simply. Levy nodded, eyes sad, before turning back to the bottles. With three small huffs, she threw the rings towards the bottles. One of them swung around the neck of the bottle, but the other two flew no where near them.
"Aw," Levy sighed in disappointment. "I thought I had that."
Without a word, Gabbriel dug three jewls out of her pocket and handed them to the man. He gave her three rings in return and she tilted her head in thought. "The light blue dragon, yeah?"
"What?"
Gabbey didn't wait for a reply, flicking her hand out and watching as all three rings swung around the bottles' neck. "Whoa!" Levy exclaimed. "How did you do that?! I thought you never played a carnival game before!"
"I haven't." Gabbey shrugged, gentling grabbing the light blue dragon and turning. "What do they call it. . .beginners luck?"
"That's no luck, that's skill!" Levy smiled. Much to the blue-haired girls surprise, Gabbey smiled back.
"Well, whatever you want to call it, this is yours." She handed the light blue dragon to Levy, not waiting for her to reply as she turned towards the guild hall.
Levy stammered in shock, watching as Gabbriel disappeared in the the crowd in confusion. A hand on her shoulder knocked her out of thought.
"Levy, you okay?" Lucy asked, as Levy blinked rapidly.
"Uh, yeah! I'm fine." Levy answered, smiling to herself as she clutched the dragon to her chest. "I just was noticing something."

"So, how was the parade?" Gabbriel asked casually, leaning on the fence that kept her from falling to the ground floor.
"It wasn't anything special," Gajeel shrugged, leaning against the fence next to her. The two of them watched the guild celebrate under them, red eyes going over every person in sight. "I guess it was good for the first parade I've seen. Where were you?"
"Trying to figure out why carnival games like to cheat people out of money." Gabbey furrowed her eyebrows. "Haven't really found a good answer; besides for money. But that's the answer for almost everything."
"True that." Gajeel grunted, pushing his self from the spot they claimed. "I'm heading home, you comin'?"
Gabbriel locked eyes with Levy - the girl telling a story with big hand movements. She seem to pause and sent a smile at Gabbey, tapping the dragon in her lap. "Yeah, I'm comin'" Gabbey replied, barely nodding at Levy before following her brother.
They didn't even make it three steps before a voice called out from behind them. "Gajeel! Gabbriel!" The twins turned, seeing the guildmaster getting out of his costume. "You want to take part in the big finale?"
"Sorry, but we'll pass." Gajeel responded dryly.
"I see." Makarov sighed. "Well, we managed to pull it off in the end! And starting tomorrow, we'll have to get to work helping with city repairs," At this point, Gabbey perked up, and gently pulled on their bond. "Dear me. . ."
"Master," Gabbriel called out, Gajeel shuffling closer to the old man and pulling out a piece of paper. "We've uncovered Master Ivan's. . .Your son's current location."
The old man took the paper into his grasp and looked over it. His expression turned into a determined one. "I apologize for giving you two this dangerous task."
"He hasn't worked out we're double agents," Gabbey said simply, turning around to walk home.
"And he's after the lacrima inside of Laxus." Gajeel added on.
"We'll get back to you if anything updates." They chorused eerily, making their way out of the guild hall.
"As long as I have his location, I can handle that. I won't let him have his way."
🌹 Day before 🌹
"Ah, crows! Why are you always so beautiful?"
Gabbriel rose an eyebrow as the man in front of them cooed over the crows that surrounded him on the balcony. She was leaning casually against the wall in his office, Gajeel next to her. Their red eyes were watching the man closely, dragon like and emotionless. The man must have called them out, because Gajeel's rumbling voice pulled her out of thought.
"You never said anything about Laxus being a Dragon Slayer." Gajeel said. The man paused, before blowing air through his lips, cackling as if it wasn't even possible. Gajeel narrowed his eyes.
"That's what we call a 'fake'," Master Ivan turned towards the two young adults. "A silly little fake."
"A fake?" Gabbriel echoed in confusion, furring her eyebrows.
"You see, since he was a little kid, he's always been a weakling. So out of pity, I implanted lacrima crystals into his body." He informed them.
"Lacrimas that allow you to use Dragon Slayer magic?!" The twins exclaimed, incredulous.
"I daresay he will be excommunicated, and some to me. Which is perfect. Recently, I learned I can get a lot of money for that lacrima. An incredible amount of money."
"Y. . .You're going to extract it?" Gajeel spoke.
"But if you do that, then Laxus-" Gabbriel was cut off from another round of Ivan's laughter.
"He was never worthy of that power in the first place! I'll just be putting my kid right back in his place. It's the money that matters. The lovely money." The twins didn't even blink as Master Ivan suddenly appeared in front of them. "You two just stay where you are, as my inside mages. All right? And even if you get exposed, as a soy, you never tell them about this place."
"I'm not that big of a screw-up," Gajeel chuckled.
"We're here to take Fairy Tail down; no way in hell we're going to mess this up." Gabbey agreed, flashing her pointed teeth. Ivan nodded, slowly backing away from them before turning.
"Go, back to that guild. If you're out any longer, they must think something is up."
