🌹 The Battle Royale

Gabbriel watched with a bored expression as most of the women in Fairy tail competed on stage. Gajeel sat next to her as he watched the show as well, munching on some screws and other metals. Gabbey rose her eyebrows as Juvia appeared on stage and quickly threw on a bathing suit with her water powers.
Her thoughts were at wild as she was far away from the Fairy tail guild - although her eyes followed people's movements. But she didn't react. Gajeel glanced at her every now and again, feeling how far away his sister was and got worried when sprouts of depressing moods came over him. He defiantly wasn't depressed either. Finally, her thoughts got too much.

     She sighed and stood abruptly.
"Alright, I'm going to go walk around town. I saw some cute outfits on our way over here." She told her brother, making her way to the front doors of the guild hall.
"Be safe." He grunted in reply, watching the show with just enough boredom as usual.

The town was busy - more so than it usually is. Of course, with a good reason. Today was the Magnolia Harvest Festival. Apparently, every year, Fairy tail takes part in it and does a parade at the end of the night. Flowers were everywhere, people at each stand to get a glimpse at what people were selling. Finally, she arrived at the stand that caught her eye. It was full of crop-tops, dresses, skirts, and shorts. There were also earrings and a piercing section. Deciding to get yet another one, Gabbey walked over to the man that was doing them.

"How much to get a piercing?" She asked in a semi-polite tone.

"Depends on where it's at. Ear piercings are 10 jewls, eyebrow piercings are 15 jewls - so forth." The man glanced up at Gabbey through his fridge across his forehead. "But, seeing as your ears are already pierced to the max, I'm assuming you don't want an ear piercing?"
"Eyebrow piercing - and I'm sure I can fit some more piercings on my ear." She stated, messing with the hoops and studs that covered one ear before digging in her pocket and pull out the correct amount of jewls. "I want the one with spikes."
"How did I know you were going to want that?" The man hummed, walking over to his station to get ready. "Your ear piercings look like they were done a while ago. How long?"
"Years, don't know how many. My brother pierced my ears - both of them - and I pierced his ears." Gabbey explained - not wanting an awkward silence as she laid down in a chair.
"So not professionally done?" He hummed, walking back over. "They look pretty good. You're from Fairy tail as well."

"Yup, Fairy tail." She rolled her eyes.

"Fun guild - hold on - there." Gabbey felt the slight pinch as the earring went through skin but didn't even flinch at the sting. "Congrats, you now have a eyebrow piercing. I'm assuming you know how to take care of it?"

"Not my first rodeo." Gabbey commented, getting up from the chair. "Thanks."
        "Just doing my job."

Gabbey hummed and stepped back out, quickly giving the clothes a once over before moving on. She didn't even make it a block down the road before something unusual made her ear twitch. With quick reflexes, Gabbriel dropped to the ground and did a diving roll to the left.

The flower pot that was to the right of her head shattered into pieces and flew everywhere. Gabbey flicked her hand - and with a small magic circle - her dagger appeared as she jumped up. "Metal-Make; Thorns!" She chanted, the small metal projectiles shooting out from her palm and magic circle.
        "Gun Magic; Sunlight Shot!
Gabbey dove again to the side before standing in a fighting stance. "What the hell are you doing?!" She spat, narrowing her eyes. "Are guildmates even allowed to purposely make harmful attacks towards each other?!"
"Like you're one to talk!" The fairy spat back. She had to think. . .He's name was something with 'Zach'. . . "You're from Phantom Lord!"
"Nice one, Zach! You're the brightest star here." Gabbey mocked.

"It's Alzach!" He spat before narrowing his eyes as well. "Wait. . .How come you aren't in stone?"

"In stone?" Gabbey echoed in confusion.

"You. . .don't know?" He asked in confusion. Alzach shook his head, gripping his gun tighter and lifting it up. "Forget - I still have to beat you even if you don't know! Bisca's life depends on it!"

Much to his surprise, Gabbriel dropped her head. Her shoulders shook as she laughed.
Alzach almost stepped back with uneasiness. "W-Why are you laughing?!" Her head rose a little, showing her red eyes with a sharp gleam.

"Oh. . .It's nothing, really. It's just. . .You think you can beat me?" She went into full-blown laughter before dying off, staring at Alzach with so much intensity - he did step back this time. "I would like to see that."

Alzach was quick, done with talking, as he pulled out a pistol from thin air. He shot at Gabbriel multiple times. But she was quick to dodge, leaping to and fro and even being cocky enough to do handsprings. Once Alzach was out of bullets, Gabbey grinned a crooked smile. "My turn."
She disappeared, making Alzach panic and look around. Finally he spotted her, but it was too late. Gabbey kneed Alzach in the gut - making his loose all his air and hunch over - before she started sending left and right hooks. She stopped for a second to back up - twirl in the air - and kick Alzach right in the sternum. He was sent flying back into some shops while Gabbriel landed in a crouched position.

After a few seconds of waiting to making sure he wasn't getting up, Gabbey stood straight up and flipped her hair over her shoulder. "That was pretty fast. 'I still have to beat you', what a joke!" She giggled before looking back towards the Fairy tail guild. "Turned into stone, huh?"

Gabbriel had passed many bodies of the Fairy tail guild - making her all the more curious about what was going on. The people of Magnolia didn't seem to know either, mostly asking her when 'her guild' was done with the fighting or just sending her dirty looks.
So when she finally made it to the front of the guild - she was annoyed with everything. "What the hell is going on?" She almost shouted as she got closer - Makarov and Natsu seemed to be looking up at some words that floating in front of them while Gajeel was munching on some metals.

As she got closer, about to walk in, Natsu and the guild master jumped up. "Don't walk through!!" They shouted in harmony. Gabbriel blinked slowly, stopping in front of them.
        ". . .Do I want to know?"
"My grandson, Laxus, has turned all the girls in the guild - besides you of course - into stone! He's having everyone else in Fairy tail fight each other for their freedom!"

"Why isn't Natsu out there then? And my brother?"
"Their is a spell that doesn't allow certain people through." Gajeel answered with a grunt. Gabbriel nodded.
"You better not have killed Alzach!" Natsu narrowed his eyes in distrust at the woman in front of them. Gabbriel noticed that the words in front of them were stats for whoever was fighting - who won and who was fighting who.
"I would never!" Gabbriel mocked innocently before sending him a grin. "Probably killed his pride and ego though."

"Gabbriel. . .You're the last person here that would be able to defeat Laxus." Makarov seemed to have a hard time getting this out as Natsu was looking at him in disbelief. "I. . .We need you to find Laxus and defeat him before its too late."
"Whoa, stop right there." Gabbey held a hand up. "I am not the protagonist of some random book. I don't go and save the day."
"We just need someone to stop Laxus while Natsu, Erza, and Grey are out." Makarov replied back. "At least track him down for us. . ."

Gabbey let out a sigh, walking closer. Gajeel walked forwards as well, touching the barrier that separated the two of them.  "Why Fairy tail, of all guilds?" She said under her breathe. Gajeel chuckled lightly, nodding in agreement before getting serious.
"What are you going to do?"

"Well, I guess whooping Alzach's ass wasn't enough for me, so I'll go try to find Laxus." She shrugged. "Just make sure I have some metals and cherries when I return."
"Of course," Gajeel nodded. He shifted his body a bit to block Makarov's and Natsu's sight from them. Natsu let out a shout of protest.
Gajeel put his gloved hand up on the barrier, looking Gabbriel dead in the eyes. "Don't die." Gabbey scoffed but lightly put her hand on the barrier as well.

        "You doubt me, I'm hurt."
        "Go, kick some ass."

"Will do!" Gabbey saluted her twin, stuck her tongue out at Natsu and turned. She walked off with her head held high and her shoulders back - leaking confidence as she marched towards battle.

    Not her last, hopefully.

Gabbriel looked up at the huge building in front of her. She sniffed the air, once - twice - before nodding. "Yup. Definitely the smell of Laxus." She stated. If that didn't tell her enough, the static electricity was enough to make her hair stand. Deciding how she was going in, she marched up the steps and kicked the door.
"Behold! The Rose of Metal!" She shouted, throwing her arms in the air.

The big, buff blonde that was Laxus slowly turned around with raised eyebrows in surprise. "Aren't you suppose to be in stone?" He asked.
"Naw, I'm a free woman." She stated simply, walking deeper into the church. "So . How do I get the girls back to normal?"
"As if I'm going to tell you!" Laxus scoffed, crossing his arms. "What are you even doing here? I don't recognize you."  He paused, looking Gabbey up and down before snapping his fingers. "Now I do! You're that metal freaks' sister!"
"Nice of you to remember me as 'that metal freaks sister'." She drawled sarcastically.

        "You completely embarrassed my guild!"
"Our guild, you mean." She corrected. He let out a growl, electricity surrounding him.
"You don't belong in Fairy tail," He snarled. "You deserve a much worse beating then I gave you at the park. Why don't we do that here?"
"Ooo, I'm shaking." Gabbey grinned, getting into her fighting stance. "Well, come on. It'll be a fair fight now, since I'm actually fighting back."
Laxus gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes - fists clenching tighter before launching himself at Gabbriel. The black-haired girl ducked under his arm and swept her leg out to trip him.

Laxus rolled to the ground and jumped up quickly to go punch her again. Gabbriel blocked his huge fist with both of her forearms, getting pushed back slightly. She huffed, taking her arm back and socking him in the jaw.  His face swung to the right, a small pop echoing around them before Laxus turned back to look at her.
"You call that a punch?" He mocked, spitting to his left. "This is a punch." His fist went flying, slugging Gabbey across the face and sending her flying to right. She wheezed lightly but got up, wiping the corner of her mouth.
"That's a punch because you're all muscle, bug! Of course your hits are going to be harder, you shit!" Gabbey spat, throwing her hand out. "Metal Make;  Thorns!
Sharp pieces of metal formed from her magic circle in front of her hand and shot towards Laxus. The blond ducked his head, covering his eyes as the thorns rip through his skin easily.
"You may have me beat by brute strength - but I have you beat on speed and flexibility!" Gabbey declared, keeping her hand out as she started running towards Laxus. She huffed, jumped in the air for some flips to pick up speed - before slamming her footed-boot into Laxus' temple. He flew to the side, shaking his head to recover. "Maybe magic ability as well?" She cooed.

"Speed and Flexibility sounds right," Laxus snarled, putting his hands down from his temple. "But you will never outdo me in magic ability!" Almost as quick as light itself, Laxus sent lightning towards Gabbriel - the younger woman barely having time to throw up a metal shield to block. Her feet started to drag from the force.
"I'm willing to bet my cherries on that!" Gabbey started to run in a wide circle, keeping her shield up to protect herself from the electrical currents. With a sharp turn, she headed straight towards Laxus, pushing herself to keep running against the lightning. Before they could get any closer, Laxus stopped his lightning while Gabbriel slid underneath him.

She threw her shield away, threw her arms out and shouted; "Metal-make; Rose Vines!" Iron vines with thorns to prick rose from the ground and wrapped themselves greedily around Laxus - keeping him at a stand still. Gabbey huffed, standing up and dusting herself off. "I wouldn't keep moving if I were you," She panted, walking around the struggling man to stand in front of him. "You keep moving, the vines will get tighter around you. Plus, there are thorns on the vines."
"You haven't won yet." Laxus snarled, moving to get her but staying in spot. "I'm not out yet! You can't just leave me here in these vines."

"You're right." Gabbriel nodded, taking a few steps back and raised her hands slowly. "I should finish you. I'm pretty sure those electric balls floating around the city will disarm as soon as you're knocked out. Right?" When the blonde didn't say anything, she smiled. "Thought so."

Gabbriel took a deep breath, putting her fists in front of her mouth as a magic circle appeared. "Iron Dragon Roar!"
        "DarkÉcriture; Trap!"
The raven-haired girl stopped her roar, eyes wide as the little bit of the attack swung back at her. She quickly hit the deck, having the Iron Dragon Roar behind her hit the wall.
"What the hell?!" Gabbriel spat, clambering up to look around. In a decent sized box, purple runes surrounded her. She cautiously put her hand on the wall to her left before let out a pained cry as it shocked her. "Wh- What?" She turned towards the entrance of the chapel, seeing a new man with long, green hair and a sword in hand, pointed at her. "Who the hell are you?!"
"Freed Justine." He replied in a monotone voice, dropping his sword and making his way to Laxus. "One of the members of the Thunder God Tribe. And you?"
"Stop chatting with the pest and get me out of this thing!" Laxus snapped, pulling on the vines that drew him in tighter.

"I told you to stop moving." Gabbey clicked her tongue, snickering as Laxus glared heatedly at her. Words popped up in front of the two of them, clearly on view for everyone to see at the guild hall.

"Laxus vs. Gabbriel - Draw."

"Draw?!" Gabbey exclaimed. "Bullshit! I had you tied up before green tree over here trapped me!"
"Please refrain from calling me names." Freed narrowed his eyes, swishing his sword around before hacking away at the vines. The square slowly started to shrink, giving Gabbriel barely enough room to move around without getting shocked.
"Deja Vu, anyone?" Gabbey muttered, taking extra care to not touch the walls.
"Finally!" Laxus grumbled to himself, rolling his head and arms as the metal vines slip to the ground, disappearing.
"I have some news. . .and problems." Freed announced his reason he was here, glancing over to Gabbey as she watched with narrowed red eyes. "What should we do about her?"
"You know what to do." Laxus sent a smirk towards Gabbriel, standing to full height. "Have a run ride."

Gabbriel couldn't even ask what Freed was going to do before the green tree brought his sword down in front of her.  "Dark Écriture; Fear."

  🌹🌹🌹

"Draw?" Gajeel muttered to himself as another message appeared. "How can they end in a draw?"
"I'm not sure. . ." Makarov trailed off, staring at the flashing letters in the air.

Laxus vs. Gabbriel - Draw

"Whatever it means, it doesn't look good." Gajeel tighten his fists as he glared at the screen. "Why can't we get through?!"
"Ugh!" Natsu let out a cry, running his shoulder into the wall. "I want to go join this Battle Royale!!"
"Would you stop th-!" Gajeel stopped, eyes wide and arms tense. A huge wave of fear and pain washed over him - and seeing as he wasn't fighting anyone - it could only mean one person. "Gabbey. . ."
"What's the matter with you?" Natsu glared slightly at Gajeel while Makarov watched with a knowing look. "You're not giving up already, are you? Why are you saying your sisters' name?"
"What the hell are they doing to you, Gabbey?" Gajeel whispered in a low tone, looking up to the word-wall to see it being updated.
