Travelling Dimensions, Shocking Truths (AU Idea)

Yuga yawned as he stretched his limbs a bit. Another Buddyfight done. Seriously, ever since the mess with Jinguuji Kei (which NO ONE except for Alec and Kei remembered, and Yuga did not like having to talk to ALEC about it.), he had been interning in the Buddy Card Office to help gauge the compatibility of the partnerships. No stimulation whatsoever.

It was a monthly thing. He had suggested it after seeing how Kei hadn't cared about his Buddy Monster whatsoever. It worked, but now he was officially the "Buddy Contract Checker" (He just knew that Alec was laughing somewhere in the world now!), the one who ensured all Buddy Contracts were not toxic. Balancing that and school had been pretty okay, though. Yuga knew that this was helping people have more fun with their Buddyfights, so he worked hard to keep his grades above average in order to keep going. Very hard, but he managed for 2 years.

Still... He had one more to go. He couldn't wait to get off wor-

BOOM!!!

He shot up, eyes wide as the alarms rang. What the...!

"What just happened?!?" Garga looked worried.

"I don't know, Garga, but we should check it out!" Yuga grabbed his hoverboard (perfected by Ranma) and took out the earpiece he had been given by Tasuku.

He had a side-job, too. As a member of the two-years-standing Buddy Police Youth.

Right on time, too. "Yuga, you heard the explosion right?"

"It came from around..." Yuga mentally calculated. A habit from all the geography lessons from Kei. Thank you, Kaichou. "2 kilometers from here?"

"Around 2 miles," Tasuku corrected. "But yeah. An unidentified ship has started attacking the entire place! Robots of sorts are attacking civilians! They're not registered on the Buddyfight register either!"

"Not on the register?!?" Ranma gasped. He was getting onto his skateboard as he asked, "Does that mean that it's an Illegal Monster?!"

"No, most probably it's a Superion," Kei cut in, adjusting his helmet while tying on his jet boots. "Ancient robots that protected Earth a long time ago."

"Why is one attacking us then?!" Yuga demanded, running through the hallways while expertly dodging the crowds.

"I heard from Timeruler that not all Superions were good. Most probably this is one of them."

"We have no time to waste then! Buddy Police Youth Division, set off!"

"Yes Sir!" All three chorused before the comms turned off.

The fourteen-year-old adjusted his red sleeveless jacket while Garga got onto his back. "You ready?"

"Of course!" He nodded.

Yuga grinned as they finally reached the outside of the office. Getting on the board, he ignited the boosters. "LET'S GO!"

Little did he know what awaited him.

The first thing Yuga saw was the towering spaceship.

Then he saw the robots fighting off the green ones. A red, a blue, and a green one. A gladiator, a Chinese mystical figure and a ninja. There was also a purple and white one there.

But what stood out to him was the suspicious shape of the defense at the moment. At first glance it did make it seem like it would protect those three kids at the center, but it also made it a wall; should the enemy go from above, or even teleport.... That would be bad.

His words were proven to be true as suddenly three lone robots seemed to malfunction, and then they teleported inside the circle, grabbing the three kids as a portal opened up.

"GANGSAN! AREUM! DA-UN!" The red one yelled.

That was his cue to get in! "Ultimate Garga, go!"

"You got it Yuga!" He nodded as he went big, landing from above and managing to smash one of them. Yuga then grabbed out the Garblade card. "I equip! Garblade!"

The photon metal bracelet he had resonated with the command, allowing him to form the blade as he swooped in and stabbed another robot, before Garga swung that robot to the final one.

"Yuga! Are you and Garga okay?!" Ranma yelled from the comms, the static on the line signifying it becoming active.

"Yeah! Those robots aimed for some kids, weirdly enough!" He answered while landing on the ground, collecting his hoverboard as he continued, "Kaichou I think you were right! There are Superions he-"

He didn't see the four new robots turn on. He didn't see one teleport behind him.

But the next thing he knew, he and Garga were grabbed and he was off the ground--

And then back on it somehow? He was on the ground with those kids and Garga. A red and blue robot was right in front of him, eyes wide.

Why was he-

He felt robotic hands grab his waist while the kids were lifted up by some sort of dragon Superion, held in place by some electric forcefield.

"Let them go!" The dual-coloured Superion demanded. "How dare you endanger the kids AND bring a civilian into this!"

"I wouldn't call him a civilian, per se," The dragon Superion chuckled. "You're Mikado Yuga, the Buddy Contract Checker, right?"

"... What about it?" His eyes narrowed.

"He managed to take down all three robots with that... Buddy Monster, right? Ah yes, it was that. But also, his potential is untapped. Say he partnered up with you as these brats did," He gestured to the three still struggling. "I would have to fight the man who defeated Timeruler Dragon."

"Wait how do you know of that?!" Garga demanded while being restrained by the electric forcefield as well.

"Did you ever wonder why you never got affected with it, Mikado Yuga? It wasn't because of your Buddy. Rather, it was because of your affinity, passed down from your grandfather."

"My... Grandfather?" Yuga repeated. "My grandfather wasn't a-"

"Oh, not the Mikados, silly boy," The Superion said.

His next words froze Yuga in place.

"You're not their biological son anyway. You were adopted."

.... W-What?....

"No! You're lying!!" he argued. "I-I..."

But even then, the doubts were seeping in.

"Your grandfather was a warrior, an inventor, one who loved the earth, if my information was correct. How ironic is it that his own grandson would be the earth's downfall."

"As if Yuga would do anything for YOU!" Garga snarled.

"Oh, don't worry. Just sit tight there and it'll all be over. Now, Double Dragon. I'm sure you already know what might happen if you don't give me the stones."

"As if!!!" A familiar voice snarled from above.

The other four Superions landed, with Ranma and Kei right behind them as Kei hissed, "We got the gist, Omega! If you get the stones it's game over! So you can DREAM ON GETTING THEM!"

"Oh are you sure? You wouldn't want to HURT MORE PEOPLE, right, Jinguuji Kei?" The newly known Omega said as he tightened the restraints on the three and Garga, making them all wince in pain.

"Garga!!" Yuga screamed. "Let him go, you monster!!"

"I will only do that if the stones come to me," He said while tightening it even more.

"You're willing to hurt kids for your greed?! How crazy can you get, Omega?!" Ranma demanded. "Let Yuga and those kids go!!"

"Y-You can't give the stones to Omega!!" One of them, the red haired kid who had been in the middle, yelled. "I-If you do the fate of the world will be at stake!"

"It's not worth it," Double Dragon said, shaking his head as he called out a box from... somewhere. It opened up and a gem thing came out. The Superion held it as he said, "We switch at the same time."

"Whatever," Omega lazily said. With a wave of his hands, Yuga felt himself being lifted and then he was suddenly flying to the other side. He caught a slight glimpse of the so-called Super Stones and--

"Please! Don't give him away!"

"You shut up! Having twins was not part of the plan Uju!"

"Who would you even give Gangju to?! Are you seriously going to go through with all this?"

"It was an agreed decision. Paruko even agreed to take him for a good price!"

"LIVES ARE NOT MEANT TO BE SOLD! HOW COULD YOU SEE YOUR OWN KIDS AS SUCH?!"

"OH SHUT UP ALREADY OLD MAN! IF YOU'RE SO COMPETENT THEN TAKE CARE OF HIM YOURSELF! UNTIL THEN HIS NAME IS YUGA!!"

"-uga! YUGA!"

"H-Huh?" He snapped out of it and saw Kei and Ranma looking at him, worried.

"You blanked out on us out of nowhere," Ranma said. "I had to carry you through the portal."

"Wha... Portal?"

"After Omega got his hands on the stones, Double Dragon put our time in complete suspension. It's frozen until we come back," Kei spoke. As if he was talking to a kid.

That irked Yuga a lot. "I'm fourteen, Kaichou. I'm not the kid who was the sole survivor of your plans."

"E-Excuse me?" Kei's eyes widened. Hurt flashed in his eyes. "I never said that at all."

"Then stop treating me like a kid. You may be older but you nearly rewound the entire world because you couldn't accept loss," He spat out.

"Yuga!" Garga frowned. "Kei has redeemed himself since then!"

"Then why did it take him THIS long to tell us about the Superions?!" He snapped. "It's not funny Kaichou. Not funny at all!"

"You're making it sound like he kept it away on purpose!" Timeruler snarled as he materialised from his card.

"Stop stop stop!!" Ranma stepped in, pushing both of them apart. "You guys need to chill out!"

Yuga growled, but took in some deep breaths, trying to calm down.

Evidently, though, what Omega (was that his name?) had said was making him feel worse.

He didn't know...

Just what had the stones showed him?

Who was Gangju?

Who was... Uju?
